We have been ordering from Moe's for a few years through Door Dash. Although the food is good, we stopped ordering for a while because there were always missing items. We thought we'd give them another try tonight and once again missing food. No gravy and onions for both hamburger steaks, no salad dressing, no biscuits and sausage gravy. This was just a few of the many missing items that's been left out of our order almost each and every time. This was the last straw. We will not be ordering any more food from this incompetent restaurant. I do want to add that Door Dash has always been wonderful about compensating us for Moe's incompetence. I'm giving them one star because the food is decent. read more

This is our go-to when we come back from trips. Nothing says home like a country kitchen. We often get the breakfast chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes or homefries and eggs. Most recently we opted for some pancakes . Overall the quantity you get for the price is good but the overall quality is not always consistent. The first time we came my husband had piping hot mashed potatoes while mine were almost cold on one side. The next time we came the fries were no longer home fries but just your regular frozen variety. The time after that, one of the chicken fried steaks was a little gummy at the bottom, probably from an uneven fry. This is not to say everything else is bad, they just seem to have an inconsistent cook. Pancakes are good though. Service is typically okay, just like anywhere it depends on your server. If you happen to be seated in a... non assigned area... you may not get the most attentive service and flagging down a different server will just have to do. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating. They also serve pies, giant cookies, and brownies. I do recommend really looking at the pies since the servers don't always know what's in the fridge, so when they say "thats a lemon pie' you may end up with a Buttermilk slice like we did. The brownies are also... not good... so I really don't recommend them. They don't really taste like anything... Overall an okay country kitchen, not overly bad but also not the best. They could use some tweaks and better quality control. read more

This is a down home cooking restaurant, clean, spacious, great attentive staff, food came out quickly and was delicious. My husband ordered the catfish plate with 2 sides the fish was crispy and perfectly cooked, Mac and cheese was great but they could improve on the spinach (add onion, garlic and bell pepper) I had the big breakfast, the eggs and bacon was perfectly cooked and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Decided to give them a try on a snowy day. Loved that they didn't let a little snow keep them closed for the day. The interior is warm and inviting. Great mural with the US and Texas flag on the wall. They have a large menu so decided on the special of chicken fried steak and my wife ordered the TexMex omelette. Our waitress seemed a little off and we had to ask someone else for waters after asking a couple times. The food came out looking great and quick. The downside was my mashed potatoes were cool inside and my wife said the same about her hash browns. My okra was just warm as well. Loved the chicken fried steak and I stole a bite of her omelette and loved that as well. Hopefully this was just a one off day so I'll go again. read more

Came around 6:30 on a Saturday night because breakfast sounded good for dinner. Comfortable casual interior with a cool mural of the Stockyards. But the coffee I got tasted like the last cup in the pot and hours old. And I ordered a "country breakfast" that the menu specifically said included biscuits and gravy but the waitress told me I was wrong (hint: the customer is never wrong). There were no spoons on the table. I will give them credit for the price, it was reasonable. I'll try it again sometime but wasn't impressed sad to say, YMMV read more

Love this place! Please do yourself a favor and try this place out. The food was great, the staff were even better and the atmosphere is perfect. It was kept and very clean too. Server Her name is Tina, shes a delight. Very helpful and patient with first time visitors. Ambiance Its an American diner with a whole host of eatery options. Food Food is pretty good. The salad that came with the meals was huge and had a fresh crisp taste. The hamburger steak was pretty good. The fried squash was rubbery. The chicken tenders were strips. But had a good taste. The fries that came with these were hot but not extremely crisp. The CFS was so-so. It looked pretty but tasted like it had been sitting for a while, like im a cafeteria. I have ordered three different times on Uber for moes country kitchen. My daughter is special needs and she just does not understand when they do not send what she wants to eat so the first time we ordered they did not send the coconut pie or the chocolate pie. These two items were close to $10 plus tax. That time the lady brought it to our home because we are disabled.., second time we order again no coconut pie so they say they're gonna put my name on the board and next time I'm able to get out of the house I could come and get exactly one piece of coconut pie. Why not throw in an extra piece for my trouble.??? so yesterday was absolutely the worst. I ordered her the country breakfast. It comes with three eggs over easy your choice of bacon or sausage we get bacon and it comes with the Redskin potatoes and a biscuit and in addition to that I added her some refried beans that were I believe $2.19. I'm not exactly sure and I ordered her a separate plate of biscuits and sausage gravy for $4.19 when the order arrived, I open the box and what do I see three runny eggs no biscuit no Redskin potatoes which happens to be her favorite when I called the restaurant. The lady was extremely rude. Told me I could come and pick it up, even though I am severely disabled with a fractured back and if I couldn't come and pick it up then hopefully next time I was able to get out to the doctors, they would give me the Redskin potatoes and the biscuits and gravy if they didn't lose the note. My kid functions at the level of a one year-old so OMG the screening started not only did she have to wait for the food to be delivered, but there were no Redskin potatoes and there were no biscuits and gravy for which I paid extra. This place might be OK. To eat if you go inside, but trust me the food does not have much flavor at all. I don't even really care for Cracker Barrel, but I have to say that they do much better job at cooking their food and making sure they send the order correctly. When I contacted Uber they were just as bad giving me a big refund of $2.98. No refund on the potatoes the excuse was they forgot to put them in the box and I don't know how they came up with $2.98 because the biscuits and gravy were $4.19 and if you buy the Redskin potatoes as a side order, they're $4.19 so at this point I will not ever order from Uber for this particular restaurant. Uber is good at getting most things right and of course you're not gonna change your delivery. Driver's tip because it's not the driver's fault. It's 100% the employees at Moes, they are more than happy to take your money, but they do not send you what you paid for. And the lady that answered the phone when I called had she been my employee and talk to me in the matter that she did she would have been fired on the spot. We have two disabled people here but yet they can't make the food right they can't send one of their employees over to drop off the red skin potatoes so my disabled daughter can stop screaming????? I don't even think their food is good enough to eat inside let alone trust them to package your food right cause for me. It's been three out of three with them not putting the food in the order. My bill was $23 and all I got was three almost raw eggs and four pieces of burnt bacon and one hard biscuit with no sausage gravy and shame on Uber for their lousy little refund, I use Uber at least 2 to 3 times a month because of the fact that we are disabled. It is very very hard for me to stand in the kitchen and cooked with a fractured back and my kid has no patience when she is ready to eat it better be there. I even took a picture and uploaded it to Uber and they still only refunded $2. 98. It's not even in my wallet it can take 3 to 5 days for this little three dollars to get there for the time I spent with Uber trying to get the rest of my food and for the way I was treated by the woman that answered the phone. I would highly suggest that this is not a place to eat. There are plenty of other home cooking restaurants they might cost a little bit more money, but at least you're getting what you're paying for. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage. Biscuits were terrible. I was expecting some warm fluffy biscuits; instead they were hard and lukewarm. The gravy too was bland and lukewarm. I ordered pickup. When I arrived and looked at my burrito it was folded in half and not rolled. My second was wrapped but doesn't taste good. There is some kind of odd flavor. Like something is old I ate here about 4 months ago and I ordered eggs Benedict. I asked for their famous biscuits instead of the egg muffin, and the biscuit was not cooked all the way it was doughy on side so the whole eggs Benedict was not enjoyable. Did they offer to return my money no, not at all. I still tipped the waitress. It's not her fault. They will not get another chance from me. I'm done with this breakfast place. OMG! This is the best breakfast place! We have been coming here once a week for the past 3 months! The service is excellent. The place is clean. It's never overly busy. The price is reasonable. And, the breakfast food is yummy and consistently yummy. We've also tried the coconut cream pie and it's a keeper! Ordering 3 pies (coconut cream, banana cream, and chocolate) for the holiday. Wow was this a bad experience all the way around. Just ordered from a delivery service and got my food. Around $50 or so. 2 meals and a salad. Didn't get the salad, the portion sizes were so absolutely small that I would have been embarrassed to serve them on a kids meal and to top it off the food was literally inedible. Ate at this restaurant yesterday for lunch. Ordered the turkey and dressing, fried squash and green beans. A daily special. It was so bad, I sent it back. Dressing was watery. Turkey was shredded- like it came from a can and the fried squash had a very thick, heavy batter, and the squash was watery inside! Obviously a frozen product and a bad one at that! Very sad. The green beans were canned and not seasoned. Cornbread was just ok with application of generous amount of butter. The waitress was WONDERFUL and benchmarked professionalism and grace. Very disappointed in the quality of food. I order eggs with bacon, grits and pancakes. Grits were not good at all, pancakes were not cooked all the way. Didn't even eat half of it. I came to eat hearsay and it was amazing and I wanted to come back. I had the Denver scramble and spinach both times. Yesterday it was played great and the jelly and stuff came on a side plate perfect. She also brought me salsa and ketchup.. today they brought my food played great but no jelly or salsa when I asked and she replied would you like red salsa. So I asked the lady who delivered my food and she never brought it make so I asked the person busing the table to bring it. I love this place! The place is clean, the people very nice, and the food is so good! I have eaten here for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast has a great portion size, really good tasting eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Also, I am picky about my pancakes, cause a lot of places have an aftertaste and this one doesn't. The bacon is thick and you get a good portion of it. For dinner, I've tried a few things and they were very good. I haven't tried the chicken fried steak yet but everyone says it's so good! If you're looking for a neighborhood place, want to support a small non-chain restaurant, where the people are friendly and the food is good, this is definitely your place! Do not go here if you want to eat. We walked in on Saturday August 16th around 9:30 in the morning. After standing by the waitress stand for about 3 minutes away a waitress just yelled at us from across the restaurant telling us to sit anywhere we wanted. At first we were not sure she was talking to us. We found a table and got not one greeting and after 10 minutes another waitress walked by and asked if we needed menus like who doesn't need a menu at a restaurant? She left went over to the register waited on another customer then walked off and disappeared into the kitchen and never brought us menus. I would like to rate the food but I will never go back nor will I ever tell anyone else to go because they too may never get to taste the food because of such horrible unprofessional service. Waitresses saw us walking out and didn't even ask what was wrong. When this place is closed in less than 6 months then you will know why.
