A simple flag down and someone else was able to help us. The food wasn't bad either. My Dad got a Breakfast with 2 Eggs, Ham and Pancakes. He said it wasn't anything remarkable, but wasn't bad. I enjoyed my Chilaquiles but the chips were rather soggy. It was pretty filling. Very limited coffee options. More staff is needed to have quicker service. We would come back if need-be.

Very Disappointing Service - Management Needs to Take Responsibility…read more I have been coming to this First Watch location for the past four months, and unfortunately, this is now the fourth time I have experienced terrible service. At this point, it is no longer an isolated incident--it appears to be an ongoing management problem. The servers are frequently inattentive, distracted, and fail to properly check on customers, even when the restaurant is not busy. After experiencing the same problems repeatedly, I believe General Manager Zak Paskvan needs to take responsibility for the way this location is being managed. What made the situation even worse was the way Zak handled customer feedback. When customers are explaining legitimate concerns about the service, a general manager should listen, communicate professionally, and try to resolve the problem--not be rude, dismissive, or give customers attitude. After seeing these issues continue for approximately four months, I do not believe Zak is effectively managing this location. In my opinion, First Watch corporate should seriously review his performance and consider replacing him as general manager. I enjoy First Watch, but this particular location needs immediate improvement in both customer service and management. Four bad experiences are more than enough.

Our beverages never went empty, the service staff didn't miss a beat and our bellies were full of great, healthy food. All the salads were cool, crisp and the perfect size. 2 diners ordered the Calf Liver which was so tender--perfectly cooked with bacon and sautéed onions. Our Sizzling Chicken, which was a new entree, was excellent--crispy, cheesy, creamy, and spicy--all served on a sizzling platter. We even had an ice cream Sundae for the birthday fellow---he was so happy. Cakes, pies and ice cream sundaes were top notch. Their Key Lime Pie was sold out but there are plenty of other choices...cheesecake, Tres Leches, Vanilla Berry layer cake...the perfect finishers. My Farmhouse Hash was mostly undercooked potatoes with just a little bacon, a tomato or two, and avocado mixed in. The scrambled eggs I ordered came out badly overcooked and barely resembled scrambled eggs - bland and not something I'd recommend. My mother's lemon ricotta pancakes didn't arrive until a good 10 minutes after my plate showed up. To her credit, the server apologized more than once and comped the pancakes. One bright spot: the donut holes came out piping hot and were genuinely delicious. Overall, I'd give this place some time to iron out the issues before trying it again -- or just stick with one of the local diners in town.

The decor is earthy colors with wood on the walls, fun signs, comfortable booths and tables for groups. Highchairs are available for your tiny family members. A hostess will seat you with menus and flatware wrapped in a napkin. Salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, jelly, syrup, ketchup and hot sauces are on the table. One side of the menu is breakfast, the other lunch. We were asked right away if we would like coffee. The staff here are all very nice and welcoming. Different members of staff came around to all tables several times during our stay refilling coffees as needed. Our waitress checked in on us a couple of times and actually stopped at the table to be sure we had all we needed, not just running past. We both ordered breakfast and the portions are generous. I had the Irish Bene and they don't skimp on the smoked salmon! The eggs were poached well, a generous amount of spinach and the potato pancake is tasty and light. I very much enjoyed their coffee. Strong, hot and smooth. Not at all bitter. Yay. Two remodled, single-person restrooms are at the back of the restaurant where you'll also find hooks for your coat.
