Wow, I do not think my house was this clean and organized since I moved in! Aleandra and Carolina arrived, I gave them a walk-thru and explained what I want them to concentrate on and left them alone. They cleaned my bathrooms and bedrooms first, and these rooms are spic 'n span!! My toiletries and make-up were organized into the drawers and cabinets! I was never able to figure it out!! The shower and bath are spotless!! My kitchen! Amazing!! Everything from the counter found a place in the cabinets!! I did not know how to organize the kitchen and voila! it is done!! Thank you!!! Even the dishes are cleaner than I can ever get them! The fridge, stove and microwave are clean as they can be! Without using chemicals (parrots in the house!) I am amazed about how clean the appliances are! Now for the living room and dining room areas, aka parrot sanctuary. Wow, wow, wow! I expected for me to only pick up all the papers from the floor so the ladies can sweep and mop the floors. I picked p all the papers and tossed it, but they went above and beyond on the cleaning! They cleaned everything, the windows, the ledges, and even the inside of the Java tree trays! They put everything away and organized my magazines. I paid for 4 hours (2hrs/pp) and I was happy to pay for another 1hr/pp ... I am definitely signing up for bi-weekly services from EH-Clean as I am so happy to have my house so clean and organized and look forward not having to do it all by myself! Before I moved out of the area, I had EH Clean in to clean my 2-bedroom apartment twice a month for many years. Unlike large cleaning companies, Jana's team is a small, personalized force who knows my apartment and my idiosyncrasies and works with them. The team is efficient and trustworthy. My only complaint -- but one I feel is necessary to state -- is that one of her team, apparently allergic to cats, would often shut them in the closet, where they'd remain until I got home late in the evening. My younger cat, once very curious, is now very timid. The woman in question apparently no longer works for the company, but the damage is done. If you have pets, make arrangements in advance as to how they will be handled (or where you should keep them) when their staff is on site. read more

Not happy with the job they did; I expected a much cleaner house for $140 (+ $40 tip). I was moving into my residence on a Friday, so due to my hectic work schedule I didn't have time to perform a thorough scrub of the condo before move-in day. I called them on Monday to request a "move-in cleaning" and they stated they were booked all week except Tuesday and that they could come the following morning at 8. I told them the house was completely empty so it should take less than 2 hrs for 2 people to clean it. Also, I had a meeting that morning in San Ramon at 10a, so the person I spoke to on the phone said that I could meet up with the "supervisor" that afternoon when I returned and pay for the service. I arrived the next morning at 8a to let the cleaner in, who told me she was a "supervisor" and that they only take cash or a check. I stated that I was told over the phone that I was scheduled to meet her at 2p that afternoon to pay for this service. She stated she had another job at that time and would not be available. I argued that's not what I was told over the phone nor did I have with me cash or a check. So I had to quickly run to the ATM to get the cash. When I returned after 5 mins, she had begun working but the 2nd cleaner still was not there. I paid her and she stated she'd text me when she was finished then I left to make it to my meeting. I never received a text! I got played because they (I assume there were 2 people) did not do a thorough job. The toilet was not cleaned, the floors in the bathroom did not appear to have been swept and/or mopped and there were still cobwebs in the corners. This was not quality work that would translate into $140. I don't recommend their services and will not be using them in the future. read more

Have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. Hired them to do an initial deep clean of the house and was so impressed we decided to have them come monthly for maintenance. Love that we get the same wonderful team each time, that they always show up exactly when they're supposed to (usually even on the early side), and that they always do a thorough and fantastic job! Also love that they let the customer provide the cleaning products; that way we can be sure we (and the team!) are not breathing toxic cleaning fumes. I've been using EH Cleaning services for about 10 plus years and they have always shown up when scheduled and always on time. Their prices are very reasonable. My cleaning standards are high, and they always exceed my expectations which makes my husband & I extremely happy. I can tell they love their job. It shows in the quality of their work. Whenever I need to schedule and at times reschedule, Jana is very responsive to all my requests and scheduling changes. It's very easy to get a hold of her which is a huge plus. She will always accommodate any last minute changes which is rare & doesn't make me feel bad about it. She is hands on owner and will get down on her hands and knees and clean beside her workers. Also, there is always a supervisor with the team who's job is to make sure everything gets cleaned to your 100% satisfaction. All of the cleaning team members are very friendly, and are easy to communicate with as well. The fact that they all speak English makes it so much easier. Keep in mind that they also accept credit cards which makes life easier when I don't have time to run to the bank or pull out cash from an ATM machine. I highly recommend them. There are no words to tell you how amazing this company is. Alexa and her crews were hired to clean 13 building foyers and laundry rooms for us. I had EH Clean for over a year and had problems along the way; and eventually had to terminate services. Different staff all the time entering your home.. The owner repeatedly flips appointments so she can schedule other business. When addressing concerns (like schedule blunders), the owner will argue and not apologize and not fix the problem. One housekeeper was drinking my liquor on the job. Once I terminated my key was never returned. read more

EH Clean, Jana. I found Jana to be extremely unprofessional. I have a confirmation email from her scheduling our home today for a clean for which we had to wait three weeks. 3 weeks to schedule! I woke up at 5:30 am this morning at to pick up every item (we have lots because of the kids and big spaces) and put away clothes on the floor, put away dishes, i.e. to prepare the house for the cleaners to clean. As any parent with school-aged kids knows, it is difficult carving out time in the AM before preparing breakfast, getting the kids dressed and off to school. What a waste of time this morning for a NO SHOW. Jana denies her email scheduling us. There was no question in her email, only a statement. If there was ever any doubt in Jana's mind, she would have emailed me requesting a confirmation explaining that we won't be confirmed unless she receives a further email from us. There was none. Her response is to blame me. How does that make sense? We need a company who exercises good business practices with a level of professionalism. I just saw the other negative yelp reviews. It's amazing how Jana manages to remove all the reviews about her business that are negative. Just because she doesn't agree with her customers' opinions it doesn't make them less valid. I was a customer as well. The cleaning people are good, at least some of them. The issues i had with her are as follows: 1. the team she sent initially did a great job and when i requested them again they were unavailable. 2. the initial cleaning i was quoted $110 and she tried to charge 2.5 times the amount. After posting a negative review about her, she agreed to charge the original amount if i removed the review, which i agreed to and we worked it out. 3. Then she proceeded to bring me into a dispute with a customer i knew nothing about and had posted a racist rant on the response to this customer mentioning me by name because she apparantly hates all russians - because i happened to refer her to this customer. So...for referring her another client...i got a nasty racist rant on yelp. As for the cleaning..not so cheap, can find something just as good for cheaper. She uses her best people at the first cleaning and then says they're not available anymore. read more

Here are just some of the things that Jana and her staff has done for me in the past several years that I know I won't find with any other cleaning service: 1. Put together 2 storage cabinets that she also bought AND carried from the store and organized things into them beautifully. 3. All ladies who have ever cleaned in my home can communicate in English, which is important as I do not speak Spanish. 8. They all love my two cats. I once left on a short trip and forgot to leave them water, and since they were the only people I knew who had my key, I texted Jana at some ungodly hour crying for help. She was at my home within a couple hours to take care of my cats. Am I aware of people who have had issues with cleaning services? Yes, and I understand their frustration. I went through the same frustrations when I was first looking for housekeeping services. However, after knowing Jana and EH Clean for so many years, I can honestly say that her heart is in her business and work, and she is just as, if not more, disappointed and frustrated at her employees when things aren't done correctly and she loses even just one customer, and she always wants the chance to make things right. Running a small business isn't easy and making every client 100% happy is impossible. Jana is someone I can trust, which is just invaluable when it comes to choosing a housekeeper. I've been a customer of EH Cleaning for about 6 weeks now, and I have to say, I'm exceptionally happy with how things have turned out. The most appropriate word I can use to describe Jana and her team is "professional." The initial interview went something like this: Jana and I arranged to meet at my apartment. She looked through the place, asked what I'd like done, and then proposed a series of options. The option she suggested actually came out to be less expensive and resulted in more frequent cleanings than my original idea -- what's not to like about that?! She then presented me with a very clear shopping list. It had full-color photos of all the products that I would need to stock, along with instructions about where to buy them and whether any substitutions were acceptable. She also brought all of her business licenses as well as a list of references that she suggested I call. The transaction was simple, straightforward, hassle-free, and there were no surprises. As a busy professional, this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Now, every other week, I leave money on my table before I go to work, and when I show up, the apartment is spotless and smells great. Her team has excellent attention to detail and is very, very thorough. My suggestion to the rest of you: if you want your place clean and you don't want to have to think about it, this company is the way to go. It is important to me that an agency have the appropriate credentials to protect both them as well as the customer. What a Godsend! In a nutshell: professional, attentive to details, diligent, and worth every dime! I owned a housecleaning franchise and know the difference between really clean and the opposite. I work full time and have a fairly large home and could not keep up with the different types of flooring, amount of vacuuming and overall general cleaning.
