EHD recently completed a major backyard remodel for us and we couldn't be happier with the results. Dont waste your time getting quotes, EHD Builders is reasonably priced and provides the BEST QUALITY when it comes to pavers, turf etc. I had about 8 contractors come measure and provide quotes. Some gave me quotes without going over specific materials or including irrigation and lighting in the upfront proposal. EHD Builders brought turf samples and had paver samples delivered to our house. EHD was not the cheapest, but it's worth the additional cost considering the backyard is permanent and an investment. I AM EXTREMELY PICKY (you can ask the owners), however the backyard exceeded my expectations and looks even better than I had imagined it would. My backyard is nearly 2,000 sq ft and the job only took about 2 weeks, without sacrifice to quality or detail. Again - if you want the cheapest deal you can probably find cheaper, but good luck with your results. Go with EHD and get the backyard you want. read more

I received several bids to redo my driveway and EHD Builders was the best priced bid by far. They had to rip out the entire driveway between two recently redone landscaping areas and nothing was damaged in the process. I was so impressed! They removed the old, cracked concrete driveway and replaced it with beautiful, grey pavers. They also replaced the concrete walkway along the side of the house with water permeable pavers, which matched the driveway to created a consistent look. We had an old concrete patio, crackled, even dangerous for the kids. After having seen some pavers contractors, we decided to wait for 2021 to start the works as we were not convinced. Then, we gave us a last chance and contacted EHD. We met Jacob on the next day. He is not the typical commercial guy with his tie. He is super friendly and knowledgeable, from A to Z. I'm a civil engineer, so I know what he was talking about. And he was the first (and only) one who didn't tell mistakes. Same day, we signed the contract. He was not the cheapest one, but we know why. Because if you want a great job, you have to pay for it. So they replaced our old concrete patio with pavers and the wrapped up our old concrete stairs, in about 6 days. We have lawn and flowers everywhere around, so I asked them to be careful. That's what they did. They even never walked on the grass. No dust. No mess. Just super friendly workers who knew what they had to do. All of them said many different scary things and when I contacted Eric he came by and we talked about issues other contractor brought up and he was very confident about our project he even invited us to visit his job site and that made us more confident on going forward. We hired EHD Builders after 3 contractors provided quotes to us. Yaniv was our contractor and he really did sell us the full backyard renovation project. Re-plaster, tile and coping for the pool, removal of an old in ground hot tub (not attached to pool), demolition of the old concrete patio, removal of the old wood fence with new wood fence, 2 pergolas and installation of the pavers for the patio. The work began with pool plaster/tile removal. The demolition of the patio came next and boy did the work crew do a quick and efficient job breaking up the concrete and disposal. During the demolition the crew found a second concrete patio under part of the existing patio. I think the job was done in 2 days. The rest of the work moved along - pergola uprights, the building of the foundation for the pavers and finally the installation of the pavers. When it came time for the pool, Yaniv asked us if we wanted to have the pool re-piped. On the initial quote we did not want to re-pipe the pool but upon the information provided about our very out-dated 1970's pool by the expert we decided it would be well worth it if we did build this into the project. We did NOT make a mistake in this choice - the pool has never had such good filtration and the first time in over 28 years of living in the house we have a creepy crawler type of cleaner efficiently cleaning the pool on high and low speeds. Lastly, we installed the new fence and added the 3 new gates for the yard. Every day Yaniv came by to review the work completed. The different crews, depending on the work done, all did a fantastic job. We are extremely please with the renovation done by EHD Builders. I chose EHD builders after getting several quotes and having them be very reasonable in comparison. I also liked the salesman, Josh. He was very approachable and open with their process. Once the project started Josh was very open with communication including when issues arose. Josh and the team Were responsive and remedied the unforeseen issues quickly. They even remedied a mistake I had made and did it for free. Each day the team cleaned up and left everything looking presentable. The last day the team put everything back in place and even washed down the street after the bin (holding the debris) had leaked some rust. This review is long over due. I hired EHD at the end of January of this year, 2020. We closed on a new home in Westchester on 1/27/2020 that needed some renovations. We were renting in Playa Vista and really wanted to avoid paying an extra month's rent if we didn't have to so time was important. Little did we know then just how important timing was (Covid 19 hadn't hit yet). We interviewed 2 contractors...one was old school neighborhood guy, the other was bad with communication (but did great work) and then my closest friend recommended EHD. She hadn't used them but she witnessed their work throughout Venice, Mar Vista and surrounding areas. Yaniv and Eric (EHD builders) were very responsive via text and phone calls. It was astonishing and such a relief to be able to quick fire some texts and questions and have them immediately get back to me. They understood what we needed done and how quickly we needed it done ( 2/28/2020). They were genuinely concerned about my desires while simultaneously being honest about things that I didn't necessarily need. They were hired first week of Feb and started work 2/10/2020. EHD blew out a wall for open concept to our kitchen, put in beautiful granite counter tops, gorge back splash, custom hard wood floors throughout our home, beautiful lighting, chandeliers, ceiling fans, interior painting throughout with trim, completely gutted or bathroom and made it look dreamy/classy.... all in 3 weeks!! My kids still ask about Jesus who came daily and was their number one guy. 10 days later Los Angeles was on lock down.
