We recently completed a project with EHD Builders to demo our decrepit back patio and replace it with a beautiful paver patio and patio cover. We also built a matching back patio for our rental unit. I had gotten a quote from EHD for a previous project and ended up going with another contractor who offered a slightly lower price. Turns out that company couldn't actually complete the project for the lower price (!) and we ended up paying the same amount that EHD had quoted us. This time around we decided to go with EHD from the start. Yaniv was responsive and provided a quote right away. It was easy to plan the project out and work was begun within a week of finalizing all the details. The whole project was completed efficiently, the crew was super nice and respectful to have on our property and the end result is beautiful. Called a few companies to have our backyard done. We received quotes between $22,000 and 35,000 for the project. Although EHD was not the cheapest they were very competitive and able to work with our budget. We decided to go with EHD Pavers as they seemed to know what they are talking about. We went to their showroom and checked out the operation. We built a aluminum wood patio cover. It is insulated and will keep our yard cool and comfortable. We also now have beautiful paver stones installed throughout the patio and yard area. They even referred us to an amazing landscaper to help us with planting some trees and flowers throughout. My garden wall/ retaining wall was destroyed when a tree in my yard fell down on it, this wall is 125 feet long and 9 feet tall with a 3-foot foundation so not a simple garden wall. I called a few different places to get get a bid. EHD was not the cheapest, I felt comfortable with them. I had my plans approved by the city and that is what EHD agreed to do. When the inspector came out he decided to add much more to the project. EHD still did the work without charging me for the additional work. Before the project was finished I had to go for heart surgery, I wanted to pay for the job (it was 90% finished by then) in full since you never know with surgery Aharon refused to take the $$ and said after I recover I can pay them. Aharon was great didn't want the final payment till I was totally happy with the final results. I would use them again and again in the future. But then didn't seem that engaged in the details of the job when I described them during a phone conversation in advance of his visit to the property, a kennel under renovation. We wanted to redo our backyard and received many bids. Yaniv, Eric, and EHD were by far the best in regards to knowledge, ideas, and just overall communication during the BID process. We just knew they would be easy to work with and know exactly what to do in each aspect of our renovation. It was a big one. There's some photos here that show the before and also the after, which is really really amazing. Turned out better than I could have ever imagined. We demolished all the concrete, old grass, steps, chipped out the pool, chipped out the pool copping and even leveled out the entire backyard. Originally one side was lower and the other was higher with stairs. We now walk out from the master right onto brand new pavers and our pool. EHD was so good, fast, reliable, kind, responsive, and super easy to work with. We now have such an amazing backyard, pebbletec pool, pavers, fire pit, pool lighting, landscape lighting and even a new tankless water heater.
