They send you a prep sheet of how to make your house ready for your service. We put our pets in another room for a hour. There was no smell or residue. They trapped a mother squirrel in my neighbor's eave at 6:30 PM on a Sunday, and left her panicking in a cage until 11:00 AM the next day--over 16 hours of unnecessary suffering. When the technician (Mitch) finally arrived, the squirrel was frantic, and the fur on its head had been worn off from desperately trying to escape the cage door. Relocating a trapped squirrel is not humane. Separating a mother from her dependent young causes extreme distress and significantly reduces the survival rate of both the mother and the babies. When I asked where the squirrel was being taken, Mitch told me his property in Saukville, but refused to allow me to check on its status. Furthermore, he admitted they couldn't even wait to catch the young squirrels because the mother wouldn't survive in the cage for days, exposing the severe flaws and cruelty in their 'solution.' If you care about animals and want wildlife handled ethically, look elsewhere. The Humane Society recommends Skedaddle - Humane Wildlife Control. I called Skedaddle directly to confirm their methods, and they do not trap and relocate animals elsewhere. Do not use Advanced Wildlife and Pest Control unless you are okay with animal suffering.

Didn't inspire much confidence so I called Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators instead because they sounded so professional on the phone, they quoted me less than half the price and I figured they would be more specialized anyway. When I talked to Doug on the phone, I actually asked him why they're so cheap, and he explained they're a much smaller company with more efficiency and less waste so they are able to charge less. Sold! They sent James out to us the next day to treat our apartment as well as our downstairs neighbors' to be safe and within 10 minutes I was glad I chose ABBE. He located the bed bugs right away nestled away in our headboard and showed them to me. He was so patient and answered my many questions and he was so kind to my neighbor who was overwhelmed with the whole ordeal. His sweet demeanor gave us so much peace in an otherwise traumatizing and violating situation. Afterward I let my bed bug prisoner out of the jar to walk around in some of the treatment sprayed along our baseboards then put him back in the jar to watch what would happen. ORKIN (Bob Lee) also signed my mother up for financing and turned the invoice over to a loan company without her knowledge. My mother intended to pay in full when the project was completed. Bob Lee or Robert Lee (goes by both names) who is the Branch manager is not trustworthily. This guy WILL FOOL you. ORKIN MISLED and lied. We are now seeking legal to seek damages to the ceiling and will report misrepresenting financing to the BBB and others. Not only were they quick to come out, they were very thorough in their job both inside and outside the house. The service gentleman was super polite and honestly just helpful in giving us pointers for prevention. We also thought they were very fair priced. There has been so many solicitors from other companies coming to our front door, hassling us with on-going sales pitches.
