One rest area eastbound and another across I-10 for westbound. I spent the night here at the westbound side. I've seen bigger and more developed rest areas but this one is fine. Not fancy but it has the features needed. There is a building with restrooms and water fountains and a good amount of parking for cars and trucks. There is limited shade and the parking areas are not very far from the highway so there's going to be some highway noise. It's hot. We stop here every time we go to Arizona. One of the cleanest rest stops we have ever seen. There is always someone cleaning up and making sure supplies are stocked. Has a few vending machines if you need a quick snack or drink. Has plenty of tables with canopies if you wanted to sit and eat in the shade. And there is a lot of information posted about the area, animals and desert life in general, if you're interested in that stuff. Lots of space to walk around and stretch your legs, and an area for you 4 legged passengers to get out, move around, and do their business. Also has a water spout for them. Just don't wander too far, it is the Arizona desert after all, and the signs do say beware of the local wildlife. In short, if you need to make a pit stop, this is the place to do it. read more

After leaving Scottsdale, the long 6-hour drive back to LA began. I was doing fine for the first several hours, but a pit stop was needed just before I closed in on the CA-AZ border. This was the first stop to catch my eye at the moment, so I pulled off the freeway and did my business here. This place is very well maintained. In sharp contrast to other rest stops that I've seen, this place was not littered with trash and was presentable. It was also not that populated, but that was not a problem at all. The rest stop is not a big one, but it is peaceful and serves as a good de-stress. It definitely helped, as I had hours of driving ahead of me. If you're headed from Phoenix to California, check this place out if you need a time out. read more

This was the cleanest rest stop I've ever stopped at!! Restrooms were spotless and everything smelled so clean

I do not understand why there are so many 5 star ratings for this stop. The women's restroom was closed for cleaning and from what I could see, it was rather nasty! Dirty and grimy. It seemed to have less trucks compared to other stops, which made it easier to enter and exit. I liked the trees and surrounding landscaping, probably because it was spring and flowers and trees were blooming. Go to the 76 station at Ehrenberg - it is much cleaner! read more

It really saved our life literally, we were starving hungry and the Lady behind the counter hit us fresh sandwiches (purchase), COLD water and drinks, and a wonderful smile. She instructed us to a safe place to stay/rest until we could get going again... savior!!! read more

I'm slightly disturbed that the Ehrenberg Rest Stop Eastbound is identified as "Arizona Re-Armament Zone" on Google Maps, but I'll assume it's a political joke at John McCain's expense and get on with this review. Restrooms! Pet-relief areas! Rattlesnakes? Scorpions? Why would I ever want to relieve myself or allow my pet to relieve itself when there are creepy-crawlies possibly a-creepin' and/or a-crawlin'? I just wouldn't want to see what would happen if I peed in something venomous's eye, even inadvertently. So I skipped the john and admired the view. Arizona is beautiful, it really is. My sources tell me that the bathrooms are clean, and at least on the afternoon of Friday, November 7, they were snake-and-scorpion-free. read more

We made a stop here, because we needed use the restroom, and the bathrooms were clean and also they have outlets here! So you can charge your phone and also maybe make a small pot of coffee. I say that cause I seen a guy doing it when I got here. Nice to know for next time if people do road trips like I was. read more

For rest stops, this one is pretty darn good. The bathrooms are clean, well-lit, plenty of TP, and didn't stink. I didn't have to hold my breathe as I used the restroom! There was even a fold-down diaper changing station in the ladies room. I am not sure how clean that is though. Arizona rest stops rock compare to California. This one like all the others we have been to in Arizona is clean and we'll stocked. Easy access on and off Highway 10. Good amount of parking. Exercise area for pets but do watch out. There are signs warning of poisonous snakes in area. Covered picnic tables for eating or resting. There is a place to recycle plastics and bottles but closer to where the bathrooms are. read more

I hate going to reststops but this one I don't mind. It's always clean and well maintained. Great place to pull over and take a leak. When your done leaking there's some vending machines too. I'm really impressed with the rest areas on the drive to AZ and back to CA. It's really clean! It's not super fancy, but the cleanliness level of the woman's bathroom is a plus. You can stretch your legs and sit in a shaded area that have information about AZ. There's a few vending machines if you thirsty or want a snack. read more
