The restaurant was every thing I had expected for a fine dining experience. Eighteen is one of the very few establishments that rotates on top of the a hotel. This provided fabulous views of Cincinnati. at night. The service was more than excellent and the servers went out of their way to help celebrate my friend's birthday. Matthew was our server. First nigh open from Pandemic 2020. Matthew was excellent!! We had shrimp cocktail and iceberg Wedge for apps. Shrimp wasn't the largest but decent size. Cold and delicious. Lemon aioli and a mild smooth cocktail sauce was good. Iceberg head size not as large as other steakhouses but the dressing and bacon and tomatoes diced was excellent. Asparagus was excellent and so was the Brussel sprouts with bacon. The filet and shrimp scampi was awesome. Crab Oscar topping was excellent. The mushroom buttons and onions could have used some seasoning. Why do restaurants feel like they can't season cause they think 90yr old people with bad hearts will complain. Season it!! WOW, where do I start. Made anniversary reservation for 6:30 a few days ago.Asked for a window seat. As we waited we noticed about 6 couples in a row said they had 6:30 reservations.As the Host stated, everyone wants a window seat, you'll be waiting awhile. So we went in with the host looking for a table and he just said you'll have to sit here. (Not a window seat).We had a very concerned tall fellow bringing rolls and water telling us he would move us as soon as he could. Multiple people tried to wait on us but we didn't know exactly where we were going to sit. Someone who came in after us sat in a window seat as soon as it was cleaned. No one sat them ,they just took it. So much for the seat. Now for main thing. The drinks were good,the spinach and artichoke dip and pita chips excellent.My wife ordered a side salad and salmon with carrots. We had to remind the server that we ordered a side salad and wanted it before our meal. Which we had to eat in about 3 minutes before main course came out. I ordered ribeye Oscar style with baked potato. They tried to take salad away when they brought main course 3/4 still on the plate. My steak was supposed be med rare,came out medium period. The Oscar toppings were 2 decent pieces of asparagus with about 2 tablespoons of crab meat and everything has way too much salt on it,sad.My wife's salmon was so salty that she was unable to eat it. Her carrots were ice cold and too sweet. She left so much food but didn't request a box. The ambiance was basically a comedy show of bus boy and someone from host stand yelling back and forth at each other. Dinner and a show,just say no! So I came here because my boyfriend has fond memories of eating breakfast here as a kid with his grandparents. We came for Sunday brunch. First, the check in process was really disorganized. They didn't let anyone up the elevator to the restaurant until 10:00am , but they had a crowd of people waiting to get seated. They were unsuccessful trying to sort through people who did and didn't have reservations. Once we finally were seated, the rotating restaurant was kinda cool. The interior was more updated than I thought it would be really. Although there were a few water stains in the ceiling, the interior was clean and up to date. The breakfast buffet food was pretty much what you would expect for a buffet, maybe just slightly worse. The bacon was like paper. Everything seemed like it came from frozen bags. They did have lots of options but there were so many people it was kinda annoying. Been here, done it and I don't ever need to go back. I gave them an extra star for the memories. I was excited to check this place out finally after living in Cincinnati for 20 years and wondering what it would be like to eat in a revolving restaurant. During Cincinnati Restaurant Week, they were offering a $36 three course meal, with several options and so I made a reservation for 5pm on Friday night and headed there. Since they don't open until 5, I waited in the lobby of the Radisson until it was time to head upstairs. The hotel is quite nice, by the way. I was seated immediately and my server, Lisa, came to the table quickly. I had already studied the menu so I knew what I wanted. I had the Caesar salad, 10 oz. New York Strip - medium, whipped potatoes, and the Triple Chocolate Mousse cake. Lisa offered a steak accompaniment and I selected the Herb butter for an extra $3. The salad came out quickly and it was very good, but small. I was able to enjoy the view as we rotated towards Kentucky while I waited for my steak. It came out medium well. I ate the whipped potatoes while I waited for my server to return to check on me. I did have to ask the gentleman filling water glasses to find her; she had several tables and was busy getting cocktails for others. I made sure I had said medium (and that she'd heard me) and she agreed that the steak was medium well and took it away with an apology. She came back a few minutes later to let me know a new one was on the way. It did come out right away, cooked perfectly this time, and with another side of potatoes. The NY Strip was the only steak on the special menu but next time I will spring for the filet; I'm just not as big of a fan of strip steaks in general. The dessert, which Lisa told me is not on the regular menu (but should be!), was huge and delicious. The mousse was creamy and I could have eaten another one easily. Location with a view was amazing! Service was good, but it's a Buffet and while the servers were friendly, the most they did was bring beverages and clear plates. A large service charge is built into the receipt which is brought to you at the end, so watch for that before adding additional tip. Food was presented nicely, but it was mediocre. Typical buffet food. There are servers at the buffet stations, and there is an omelette station and a meat carving station. Unfortunately, for the per-person price, none of the items really stood out. My husband was not impressed and said he doesn't expect we will go back again. For the price, he expected more. Nevertheless, having recently moved to Northern Kentucky from another state, we felt that dining here with a great view of the river from this top floor rotating restaurant was a must do. So we did it, and it's now checked off our list. I'd recommend visiting if you've never been, and I think brunch here is a nice option to take out of town visitors if you don't mind paying a high price for mediocre food. I would like to start by saying, Eighteen at the Radisson has always been my go to restaurant when I have out of town guest. When my guest and I arrived last night I was extremely disappointed from the time we arrived to the time we left. We were greeted by the hostess who was very pleasant BUT when she took us to our table she was moving place settings around and in the process her extremely long hair was all in the place settings she was not touching with her hands. Our waitress arrives and is very nice but we were served Luke warm water, followed by extremely old bruschetta. Bread was not brought to the table until the waitress eventually realized and corrected. I then ordered a steak cooked medium and it came out well done. I am not one to ever send food back or ask for a replacement but I did mention the mistake and was never approached by the manager who may I just say was a very sloppy, grumpy representation for the restaurant. I'm not sure if this was a bad night or the new norm but at their prices, I'm not sure I will continue to bring my guest there. Sincerely disappointed. read more

This was certainly not the fine dining experience that I am accustomed to or have had there in the past. Lets start with the elevators opening. We stood there for a minute or so, the host finally pops her head out from behind the door of another room/closet, not sure what it was but the first thing that I noticed is her yoga pants. We get to our seat and my date had to use the restroom and I was so glad because the silverware had food stuck to it, and I don't mean just one piece, it was caked on multiple pieces, my glass also had lipstick on it. I flagged someone down to take the gross ones and get new ones before my date returned. I truly believe that these were just set up dirty from the last person that used them. Not only that but I picked up the disgusting drink menu, had to wipe that off along with the crumbs, sticky stuff and dried ketchup on the table. The yoga pants should have been a hint but I was on a date and just wanted to enjoy my company and I thought that it couldn't get worse, I thought that I had fixed everything without my date knowing. My date returns, the server, Conner, FINALLY comes over after giggling with the host and another girl (who I found out was the one who made the dessert, and I will get to that tragedy later). We finally order drinks; they were good and quick. We ordered food and that was just fine, but I could tell that it was not even close to any top grade steak but there is not a lot that the cook can do if the meat is low grade. However, the girl who brought the food came and had an earpiece in her ear. A few minutes later I saw her a couple of tables down talking on facetime being loud and obnoxious. During dinner I waited patiently for the server to come back so we could order another drink, that did not happen. I had to get up, go find someone so that we could get another drink. All of this made me very anxious and were a real distraction, I could not even concentrate on my date. I typically would not use names in a review but Conner was so bad that she does not belong there. She was very nonchalant, and our presence seemed to be bothering her. Her appearance was also, not polished to say the least. She was kind of rude and probably should not be in front of people. I am extremely annoyed with the service because this all could have been avoided by her (except for the yoga pants). The wait staff should be looking at their tables and dinnerware prior to serving anyone. We came in during the week and were there early so they can't even say that they were too busy or couldn't see, it was still daylight. This to me is simply lazy or inexperience and if the latter is the case than it is the managers job to notice this and fix it and if they do not than I guess they are just as lazy or inexperienced. Now for the sad dessert. It was my dates birthday and the cake came out with a candle, which was great. What was not so great was the dishes that were still left from dinner sitting in front of us. So, lets just say they should have stopped with the candle. I think a two year old was back there decorating the plates. Happy birthday (I guess that is what it was trying to say) was wrote on the plate with something. It was all running together and even looked like it was spelled wrong, I wanted to crawl under the table. The dessert had nothing on it, no whip cream, fruit accent, absolutely nothing. Why on earth would you bring something to the table like that? I felt like I was on a date at Apple Bees. Again, I guess this just goes back to waitress/manager inexperience. I won't even mention the windows that were so smeared and the torn up blinds, I can't even give the view a good review. At this point I asked for the check and we got the heck out of there. I have to say I have dined here numerous times and always during the week, I typically get the same girl and have always had great service with her. The food and experience seems to be better when the service and atmosphere are top notch. I do travel for a living, entertain clients and have dined at the best and worst and this was one of the worst. I do not look for this place to stay open many much longer if it keeps going like this. read more

The sides were okay, but certainly not memorable. We make better Brussel sprouts in our air fryer at home. However the waitstaff and venue make the difference as that is the excellence. Not only was our rooms not prepared, but we waited over an hour for them to be ready. The hotel had been aware that a large group of us were arriving with an ETA. Our rooms were reserved months in advance! Yet my room still had not been ready. To make it worst, only 2 of the 4 receptionist were helping to expedite the process (even when no one else needed to be helped). By time we got to our rooms, they were not cleanly kept as Hilton's promise insisted. You can tell the rooms were minimally kept and hurriedly cleaned upon our arrival. Let me tell you, NEVER AGAIN! Also, as I waited for the elevator (very busy checking out time, so the wait was long since large groups booked with the hotel) I stood and watch as one of the rooms were being cleaned. The young lady cleaning the room literally DID NOT change the bedding or sheets from the guests who previously stayed in the room. I watched her remake the bed, did not wipe down anything, and that was her cleaning the room. Done in less than 10minutes, which made me question the cleanliness of my room prior to my stay. We just ate there for our 33rd wedding anniversary. I always wanted to eat at a restaurant that spun. The hotel that you have to walk through and get in the elevator was a little run down and sketchy. On the 18th floor it's a whole new world. We both order steaks that came with one side (no salad) but I ordered one for $9 (wow). The salad was nothing to write home about and very small. All the food was great. I ordered herb garlic butter for my steak and it came melted in a cup, $5..... like I said the food was good but VERY,VERY, VERY pricy for what you get. The other think is that asked us what we wanted for desert for our anniversary, thinking it was complimentary and I got the cheesecake, from a box and pretty bad and guess what, it was $9 on my bill. Our bill was 114 for two people. What we learned, we could have had a better time and saved money going to Texas Roadhouse and saved about $40 to $50 bucks. It has been completely redone and changed names and hands over the years. I was pretty impressed with the food and service. I follow a plant based lifestyle and requested a plant based meal and was very impressed with what the chef came up with. We decided to go back for our anniversary dinner this month with another couple. The view is amazing and the ambiance is nice. We went on a Saturday evening and had reservations. The place wasn't packed, but was decently full. I unfortunately was out of luck with any vegan or plant based options this time. They do have some pasta that you can get with out meat, but otherwise you're out of luck. I ended up making a meal out of side dishes, which was okay. It would be really nice if they had some better options for people who don't want to eat meat or pasta. The menu is pretty traditional. Our server was excellent, no complaints there. We really enjoyed the view and took a leisurely 2 hours to complete our meal. We had appetizers, salads, main course and dessert. I had a baked potato, carrots, broccoli and mushrooms along with a side salad. My husband had salmon and Brussels sprouts which he enjoyed. We had calamari for the appetizer which everyone claimed was good. My husband also enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert. We all enjoyed the food and the evening. This was a disappointing experience and it was mostly due to the service, but the food wasn't great either. First, some observations on the service, but before I start: this is all nitpicking. I know that, and I'd never say anything about this normally. But when you drop $200 on dinner. I expect the experience to be more polished. First, when we were seated a gentlemen came over and started setting the table for us, but didn't say anything. I greeted him and he mumbled back. Not a big deal, but not friendly either. Next, the server came over and mumbled through his script. Throughout the meal, he was attentive and nice. He just needs more practice on his opening. Later, a third person came over to deliver bread and he tossed the basket on the table without a word. When our food was delivered the same person brought our steak knives and he tossed those on the table as well, one of the knives actually spun on the table and pointed towards my wife. Yeah, he threw knives, haha! Also, they served my wife, and then reached over her food to put my plate in front of me. None of this was a big deal (the knives incident could have gone another way, but it didn't so no worries), but again, I just expected the service to be more polished. There are more than a couple restaurants across the river where the service is impeccable at similar prices. Now, comments on the food: My wife had the surf and turf: a small filet and "jumbo" shrimp scampi. She reported the taste was good, but I noticed the shrimp were normal sized and not jumbo at all. I had the filet, oscar style. I love steak, but this was NOT good. The meat tasted old, or stale. I don't know how to describe it because I've never experienced it before, but it was terrible. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I didn't finish a $40 steak. We're glad we went and experienced the revolving restaurant, but we won't be going back. read more

On a positive note , servers are nice and the view lovely. Complementary dessert for our birthdays, much appreciated. But the problem is the food. I ordered the New York strip medium rare and sprung for a $5 sauce. The steak was extremely thin and cooked well done. Two of us had the filet mignon and it was very good so I asked them to serve me that instead, medium rare. I received another very thin, overcooked steak, like the first one. The sauce was minuscule and nothing special. The bourbon cake had no discernible taste of Bourbon. My friend with the ribeye said it was overcooked and not great. Her sweet potato dish was tiny and the Mac n cheese with lobster has almost no lobster. If you must eat here get the filet mignon or salmon. I told them that the second steak was also ruined and the waiter agreed but no one suggested not charging me $49 for a terrible steak. I am shocked by my experience. read more

My partner and i decided to stay a weekend at the Radisson to celebrate our one year anniversary, when we checked into the hotel the Manager asked what brought us and we told her, then she gave us a room on the 14th floor with an incredible view ! and little did we know, that later that night champagne would be brought to our door ! the man that brought it was super friendly and said our room had a romance package added to it ! we were shocked, and the next morning, there was more ! we had decided to spoil ourselves and order breakfast brought to us from the 5th Lounge, and when it came, we were told it was FREE ! we were feeling super grateful at this point, and the food was so good and very filling. that following night we had dinner at the marvelous 18th floor restaurant ! the service was amazing, views phenomenal , and food divine ! We both ordered the "Wish it was summer" cocktail without basil, and they were amazing ! A special dinner type of place, with rotating floor on top of Raddisson Hotel, offering amazing panoramic views of Cincinnati. They do have a bar too (not rotating, but with prime skyline view) to grab a drink and and an appetizer. The place looks nice after a recent renovation. It is still an 'old elegance' type of classic steakhouse, with dimmed lights, carpet throughout the floor and with some modernizing accents like beautiful lamps. Not a full makeover, but a substantial face lift. Still, it is a hotel restaurant, with no apparent dress code, hotel guests lounging in flip flops, and very young stuff (college age) handing over the rather pricey menus. The mix of elegant vs. commoner is how I would describe the overall feel, which is not entirely surprising in a hotel. Our server was very young but knowledgeable. He made some recommendations on specials and wine. He started us with complimentary bread rolls and some butter in a plastic little tub. The menu is very very classic, full bar, soup and salads, some pasta, steak with fixings (different cuts), fish and chicken. Sides are extra and very shareable. I started with Onion soup, that was served under melted smoked Gouda on chunky home made croutons. It was good, but the smoked cheese pretty much overpowered the delicate boulion. Next I had the Marsala chicken. It was homey and filling, winter eve dinner. The portion was very big and I took half for lunch the next day. My husband enjoyed a steak with brown butter and caramelized onion. We shared fingerling potatoes (crispy and gold) and brussels sprouts (topped with bacon and Parmesan). The food was overall good and abundant. The views are incredible. It is not a place I would come back to regularly, but with recent improvements I would definitely take my friends and Parents visitting from Europe for a get together with amazing panoramic views. So I picked this place because it had the time slot on the open table app I needed and because of the views. After reviewing the reviews I was prepared to be more impressed with the views than the food but I had a martini to start which was excellent. I had the 6oz filet Oscar style and it was awesome! Service was fantastic. The almond joy martini for dessert was pretty mediocre. The cheap cool whip spray on top gave it a chemically taste. The bread/rolls were dry and kind of stale. The highlight of this place is the view! It is located at the top of The Radisson Hotel on the eighteenth floor. Much like Rivue at the top of the Galt House in Louisville, this restaurant slowly revolves. It is not nearly as nice as Rivue but worth checking out if you are in the Cincinnati area. The set up is a bit strange. There is no actual "bar area" but there are some cocktail tables that they consider the "bar area." We sat there as we just wanted to order some cocktails and appetizers before heading to the Reds game on July 4th. Our server was friendly and patient. I ordered a martini (Lavendar something..?) and it was refreshing and tasty. We had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. Both were very good and the portion was larger than expected which was good since it was $33 for 2 appetizers. The restaurant was pretty cool at first you know it rotates and that's cool. Was there for a friends celebration we were served our foods. The food was gross bland and overly priced .When it came time to pay our tab we asked the waitress for our checks it took them 51 minutes to bring our bill . No one communicated with us telling us why it took so long . The restaurant Manager Tony was very rude 1/10 would not recommend. read more

Although there is nothing wrong with this restaurant, do not expect to be overly impressed. The view is nice and all and the fact that you get the 360° rotation, is cool but I can't say anything more really about it. The food itself is no fine dining experience. You are truly paying for the rotating restaurant with a 360° view Nothing More so if you want to see a good view of Cincinnati and Kentucky I suppose that is worth it so long as you treat it more like a ride or I an attraction as opposed to fine dining experience with a view. read more
