    New Oktoberfest Egg Sandwich
    Ashley C.

The food was meh. I got the maple house sandwich and the bagel was too tough because it was toasted for way too long. It was just tolerable enough for me to eat it. On the other hand, my sister got the new Oktoberfest Egg sandwich and it was insufferable. She opened up the wrapper and the photo you see, it's exactly how it looked. Presentation was sloppy and did not represent the marketed image of the sandwich. She said with one bite she took, it was a mouthful of honey mustard. Her food was also extremely cold. No bacon in the sandwich either as that what was promised from the menu item. Overall disappointing experience. Service took too long, we ordered 2 sandwiches and it took 20+ minutes to get the food. She did end up taking it back to the store and got her money back. Will not be back here.

Located in a strip mall on the corner of Federal and US 1, this Einstein was a bit chaotic from the moment I walked in. Outside they have a few tables for eating and people were enjoying these. However once I opened the door to walk in I was "greeted" by shouting and loud talking. It wasn't aggressive but rather loud banter between employees and a customer along with employees dropping things making loud crashing sounds. After all that I believe there was a "welcome" shouted out but hard to tell over everything else. I ordered online and walked over to the mobile pick up shelves and nothing. I walked over to end of the pick up counter which had mobile order signs and nothing there either. There was a couple people waiting for their orders and in front of them, away from any mobile order signs, was my bag of food waiting all by itself. The cheesy hash brown was ok but not crispy like at my usual location. The All Nighter bagel sandwich was just ok as the bagel was more like a bread roll than bagel. Overall a very strange visit.

$3.70 for a bagel with a shmear of cream cheese for a good but not great bagel with cream cheese. 4 stars all the way. Wasn't impressed with the seeded pumpernickel but enjoyed the everything and poppy seed. Main reason for stopping here is our office is across the street. If I had to go somewhere or order some place for delivery I would choose a different restaurant, but, location is everything as they say, and that earns them my business. I'll be back...

I received the same 'canned' public relations spin response that everyone else who posts a negative review appears to receive from this business dating many month's back... with no action. Why are things still so unsanitary at this location?? Etc.

The last promotion I got was to get 2 free bagels with any purchase. I went to the store and got in line. It was mid morning on a weekday and the selection of bagels was still really good. I got 2 Asiago bagels to go, along with my purchase. The lady at the register was very nice and she knew how to navigate this promotion on the register. The kitchen was a bit slow, but that happens when they get busy. The quality of the bagel was good.

Nice little bagel spot, very relaxing atmosphere, laid back easy going vibe for breakfast, service was awesome, food is good, had the farmhouse bagel def packed with flavor I recommend it. Cold brew is delicious here too

We are from Texas and have been missing the southern hospitality we are used too. We drove to Einstein's today since all the ones where we are from closed down and let me first start by saying they staff was great! The food is great. My daughter got a giant donut that loved. Lastly my daughter with special needs wanted a dog bagel for our dog back home and I told her it wouldn't last, the women behind the counter gave her one to "take home to Lola" it made her day! You need to come here!!

I don't like reviewing common chain restaurants, but this location really irked me. The ladies taking the order were anything but enthusiastic and there appeared to be clear chaos in preparing the orders. Also, it would be so much easier if they could just assign numbers for the orders instead of asking people for their name, for instance the girl who took my order snapped at me for my name. The place needs to be cleaned and they should really have someone keeping it tidy, it was a mess. I don't usually frequent Einteins but had a bagel craving, I ordered the Pretzel bagel with chive cream cheese - it was really good. I normally go to Jamba Juice to get fresh squeezed OJ, but since I was already at Einstein's I grabbed one of the OJ cups because it had a big label on top that said "100% Fresh Orange Juice" so I grabbed it because I thought it was fresh, but once I had a sip I KNEW!!!! their OJ is NOT FRESH, complete false advertisement!!! its from concentrate!!! What a scam - they have a big label on top that says 100% pure, I should have read the super fine print on the side label which said from concentrate and water listed as an ingredient.

Disappointing First Experience - Wilton Manors Location…read more I decided to try Bagels & Co. for the first time and arrived around 10:00 a.m. I placed my order and waited. After about 30 minutes, I started feeling a little impatient, but I stayed quiet and waited since the place was very busy and standing-room only. Eventually, I heard them call out "Brandon Brandon." My name is Brandon, and it appeared that the cashier may have accidentally entered my first name twice on the ticket. Assuming it was my order, I went up and said, "Brandon?" The employee responded, "No, it's Brandon Brandon." I calmly asked what was in the order to confirm whether it was mine. At that point, she loudly said, "Come on, dude, you would know if your name is Brandon Brandon," in a very condescending tone. The way it was said -- at the top of her lungs -- was extremely embarrassing, especially in a packed restaurant. The person speaking appeared to be the manager, which made the situation even more disappointing. After waiting 35 minutes for a simple bagel sandwich, they finally called out just "Brandon." I honestly felt hesitant to even walk up after being spoken to that way, but I did so just to get my food and leave. Everyone can have a busy morning, but there's no reason to speak to a customer like that -- especially when they're simply trying to confirm their order. Unfortunately, this first experience left a very negative impression

The sandwiches arrive like legends overstuffed, unapologetic, and bursting with flavor. One bite and you're transported straight to your grandmother's kitchen, where the secret ingredient was always love... and yes, a generous whisper of schmaltz. This is the kind of place where the taste of grandmother's cooking triumphs over pretty furniture every time. Who needs chandeliers when the corned beef sings? And then, the matzo ball soup pure poetry in a bowl. Golden, comforting, restorative. It warms not just your body but something deeper, something older. One spoonful and you pause, the second makes you smile, and by the third you are quietly plotting your return. It doesn't just satisfy it calls you back, like a melody you didn't know you missed. The room itself feels like a well-loved novel soft around the edges, rich with character, inviting you to linger. No noise, no nonsense, no pretension. Just the gentle rhythm of conversation, the turning of newspaper pages, and the universal language of people enjoying honest food. The staff are not just servers they are stewards of tradition. Warm, attentive, and proud, they carry forward something increasingly rare: care without pretense, hospitality without script. And here is the truth this is not a place you visit just once. This is a place you return to, again and again. Because like a fine old wine, it reveals itself differently each time. One visit you fall in love with the soup, the next with the sandwich, and then with the feeling... the unmistakable sense that you've found something real. For those who appreciate old-fashioned, no-nonsense, deeply satisfying food give this place not one try, but many. Let it unfold slowly. Let it remind you what food used to be, and still can be. Tucked among louder, shinier distractions, NY Marina Deli stands quietly, confidently, and deliciously apart. And as they say, "Mit a bissel schmaltz un a sakh libe, ales schmeckt besser"with a little schmaltz and a lot of love, everything tastes better. Here, that isn't just a saying... it's the whole menu, the whole spirit, the whole joy. Josepienknagura@gmail.com
