I frequent this place way too much to not write an updated review. Back in the days, I thought it would be faster to order through the Einstein website for pickup, but now realized that it's just way easier to order in-person real time. Plus, online ordering doesn't really tell you if they're out of a certain type bagel. For example, my favorite is the onion bagel, but if they run out of that, it's hard to communicate what I would like as a substitute. When in doubt, you can't go wrong with a plain bagel. However, if you do order online through your Einstein account, you can accumulate enough points for rewards. My favorite has been the the All-Nighter. You can tell it's good when my son eats his eggs with the American cheese and smoky chipotle aioli. I can probably do without the bacon though to be honest. Last week, I decided to he adventurous and tried their new hot honey egg sandwich. I was blown away by that hot honey smear - super delicious! They also offer coffee. My go-to is their cold brew, in which you can select different flavors. The drive-thru is pretty fast. It can get slow and crowded in the morning around 9-10am on a Saturday. I usually come here for a bagel since it's close and the service is quick. I'm surprised I hadn't reviewed it sooner.I almost always order to go. They occasionally mix up orders, but 8 out of 10 times everything is good. The three cheese bagel was fresh, soft, and the cream cheese filling was delicious. I've also tried the lox bagel, which was pretty good too. Sometimes the bagels are a bit overheated and slightly hard if you go later in the day but most of the time they're warm and freshly made. This is my Friday morning staple before heading into the office, but it's definitely a bit of a gamble. I usually go for the Asiago or the Six Cheese bagels, and it's cool that they've started adding the protein counts to the menu lately. However, the toaster situation is hit-or-miss. While the bagel is always warmed well, sometimes they really overdo it and it comes out way too dark and over-toasted. Hate this location of Einstein Bros. Even if you love their food at other locations; you will hate it here. this location consistently gets your order wrong. Not only was I charged almost $50 for this when the food came out it was wrong. I addressed it with the manager and she said she did charge me wrong gave me back 2 dollars. I wasn't gonna argue. So I went to the app duplicated my order and it was 18 dollars less. I had to take it up and show her just to have her re ring up the order to make sure. I finally get my food and my money back. She then hands me two cards for a sandwich on them for the trouble. I get to my destination just to find no smear which came with it along with looking at the cards to find they are expired. I am in town for family and just wanted a good cup of coffee. All of the previous reviews were horrible, mainly concerning the customer service, consistently wrong orders, super long wait times, no customer service in general. They were over six month old reviews so I decided to give them a shot. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant and courteous. The worker bees were all doing their thing and orders were going out in a reasonable fashion. I ended up with my coffee, a couple of bagels and a smoothie. Overall I couldn't ask for more unless they gave me my order for free. Lol! I made sure to tell the manager since I'm sure she usually hears just negative comments. I doubt if up I'll ever be back at this location but I would recommend it if it's convenient. read more

My statistics don't add up to the number "1 in 4" error rate, but I'm a serial fast food line modifier (add this...with that...that in the side). North FTW, we have a brand spankin' new EBB y'all! I've been watching the construction of this new location in anticipation for months. For years, the closest location has been in Bedford and until just recently Keller, which is still out of the way. This place is now dangerously close to home and my low carb eating soul. In any case, I have loved EBB for years and I am so stoked to have one in my neck of the woods. They have a drive thru as well for those on-the-go mornings. I went inside to check out the new selection yesterday as I have not been to one in a while. The interior decor gives me Starbucks vibes. Very cute and modern. The staff was nice and welcoming. I picked up a half dozen to share with the office and was not disappointed. Of course I had to get the honey almond schmear. I could seriously eat that thing straight out of the tub. Been here several times since they opened. The bagels are good and the prices are very reasonable. They have some healthy bagels too that are high in protein for those who are watching their macros. My favorite is the everything bagel toasted with butter. Their cream cheese is pretty good, although I still love Philadelphia cream cheese the most. They have some good breakfast sandwiches also. Wait in line to order thru the drive thru for 15-30 min to order bagels then order for them to tll you they are out of what you want (before 10am) then you ask what they do have and they tell you so you place n order from what they said they have in stock Then wait 15-20 mins to pay at the window To get to the window to pay only to be told they are now sold out of the bagels you ordered This has happened multiple times to us. I just returned home from here and I had to calm myself down before writing a review. From the moment I started my order, the employee taking my order never said a single word to me, no greeting, nothing, until I ordered a quad shot of espresso and I got a look like I was from another planet. So after I had to restate my order, her manager had to correct it because she didn't know a button for it existed, then she calls out the order to the barista, who shouts "FOUR SHOTS OF ESPRESSO?! Omg! Have you EVER had that much at once?!" I'm standing right.there. Literally standing RIGHT there. If you want to make two trips every time you order from this location while ordering through the drive through; one to place your order, and another to correct what you've actually received in the bag, then this location off of Basswood and 35W will be the one to visit. We make a run to pick up two bagels and a coffee every Friday and sometimes Tuesdays. Our orders don't deviate from what's on the menu; Nova Lox, Tasty Turkey w/chips & pickle spear and a Caramel Macchiato (Hot). Every time, with very few exceptions, we end up getting something different than what was ordered or something on the order's always missing/incomplete. I hope the other locations aren't as inept as this one. For the price you're paying (they're pricey for what you actually get) you'd think that they could complete an order correctly at least 50% of the time. I'm done with them and won't recommend them as it's too much of a hassle to triple check their work. Avoid this location like the plague. We absolutely love Einstein Bros; but, this location is the worse we have been to; although, we continue to give it chance, after chance, after chance...being that this location is the closest to us. The customer service isn't only bad; but, they never have the hash brown bagel that makes the farmhouse sandwich...which running out of an item happens; but, running out over 3 hours prior to closing and not baking more or doing anything about it, it's what makes for Thai review.
