This place has really disappointed me. Me and my husband used to come here all the time and we loved it but this past year it just keeps letting us down. I usually write glowing reviews for businesses that we go to but unfortunately this time I have to write a review that won't be good. Went into this location on a Saturday morning. I was standing in line with a couple of people waiting for someone to help us. There are 2 signs indicating ORDER HERE and PAY HERE so of course we are standing in the Order Here waiting to place our orders. A young lady then proceeds to TALK into the wall telling us that this window was closed. While I don't mind that I needed to move to the other window - I take exception to the fact that she couldn't turn around so that we could clearly hear what she was saying. The other young lady working the PAY HERE window apologized because they were short staffed that Saturday morning and as she saw people coming into the ORDER window, she redirected them to the PAY HERE so that she could assist them. This young lady had a smile on her face while helping and she deserves Kudos while the other one, I would consider writing her up or getting rid of her. I love the bagels but the service was crap. I was waiting with 5 kids to order bagels at the order here side. A guy came in after and went to the pay here side and placed his order. I said excuse me I'm waiting here to order in the designated place and the woman behind the counter said "we are taking orders on this side" with an attitude. While I was placing the order I said I wanted 6 cheese bagels and she says "how many?!" I said 6 cheese. "It is called 6 cheese. How many?" I haven't been to this location in a while, upon enter my son and I noticed they only had half a basket of Blueberry bagels, 2 Cinnamon Rasin Bagels, 2 Apple pie strudels, about 4 chocolate chip cookies, maybe a couple muffins I didn't notice what kind. and there wasn't any other bagels, so we didn't have much to choice from, upon going to pay, the gentleman who rang me up, had his Visor upside down, facing forward. after asking me if there was anyt&i g else, he did ask if i wasxa rewards member, gave him my number, and asked if i wanted to use my free bagel. i said yes, once he gave me my total, he said "Okay I'm off to do dishes" aschexsaid this to his coworker, before I could put my card in, and walked away in the niddle of the transaction. didn't get a receipt, qnd the lady put our bag on the top of the display were the bagels were (not that there were any other customers in there). This is a store I've been coming to for the last 20 years, and I understand Covid alot of places have made adjustments, but theres not anywere to sit inside except the bar stools at the Window near the doors. What if I pefered a table? I could go outside, butvwhat if the 3 tables were occupied? ! i have frequented the Eastern location, but wanted to visit this store, but should have gone with my gut feeling. I mean if you close at 2pm Why not make a small select of variety of other bagels. On Sunday 1/19/25 the experience was awful the girl who took out order was really nice only reason I'm giving 2 stars is due to the guy who they had making the sandwich and the manager/supervisor who honestly wasn't doing much to rectify or fix the flow of the store it was busy and there were 3 remakes in a row we had went up got a ticket made for a remake and yet still had to wait ten minutes for a turkey and avocado remake another customer after us who had a remake after us with 2 sandwich got it in 2 minutes witch was crazy to me and only then did the manager start to help him get the orders out.we at that point had to Stand right in front of the display and watch the guy make our order and he still made it wrong when we could see the add one on the screen from where we were standing and when we pointed it out he rolled his eyes at that point I made sure to not grab the order so they could just fix it since I know you can't take food back once a customer had touched it and a the that point I just wanted him to just add what was missing since we have been at the store for almost 35 min for 20 the actual sandwich and 10-15 for the remake I'm not even going in to the fact that the sandwich were made like he was just throwing stuff in there. read more

However now that seatings are outside due to covid19 I think they should keep outside just as neat and clean. We ate outside but some tables still had trash left behind by other customers. The trash bin had trash everywhere. So we sat outside around trash. It wasn't a pleasant experience to eat around. Whether seatings are outside or inside, I wish businesses still have customers experience in mind. I would suggest avoiding this location in the future. read more

After living in New York, Einstein Bagels trails behind mom and pop bagel shops in value and quality. For the record Einstein Bagels attempted to go into the New York market, and failed in a couple months. A BLT special with coffee in a New York bagel shop is a great deal less expensive than Einstein Bagels. At any rate, this is a good place to have breakfast. It is convenient to Henderson's Galleria Mall business district. Theirs coffee, with unlimited refills, is coffee shop quality. And there is a sufficient amount of vacant parking spaces at the adjoining vacant Borders. On this visit they slightly jumped the shark by not letting customers order the $5 BLT special to noon. C'mon. Still it was not much of a jump to lower my rating. read more

You can taste the freshness of the perfectly prepared bagel. Not too firm and not too soft. I especially like that the outside of the bagel doesn't scrape the top of my mouth. Due to COVID-19 protocols, you can order ahead for takeout or delivery so you get super fast service. Ample parking, no drive-thru, cleanliness outside and inside. Second, the woman who was there to take our order was short and rude with her interactions. Third, they had such a limited selection of bagels and the one's that were left looked very unappealing and like they've been sitting there a while. Lastly, the layout was very poor and people were stacked on top of each other it seemed, and the line to get food was blocking entrances/exits. Love Einsteins but this location sucks. I vowed not to come back about 18 months ago but gave them another chance today. For starters, 18 months later we all line up under the "order here" sign and eventually they yell at us all to move over to the "pay here" sign to place our orders and look at us like we're crazy for thinking we should wait at the order sign to place orders. This in itself shows how little the management cares about the customer experience, at least 18 months in and they still haven't fixed what would take all of 5 minutes to correct. Then, once you move over to where they want you to order, they ignore you for about five minutes before finally saying hello and asking for your order. Then, you turn around and eat in the floor isn't clean, counters are all dirty, and the place just looks overall disheveled. This is at 6:05 AM so I can't imagine how it will look by nine. Even answering questions about their loyalty club, Schmear Society, is an ordeal. Finally another staff standing beside the cashier stepped in and gave me what I was looking for. Which makes me think it wasn't me, but the cashier's listening or comprehension skills. Upon entering we were not greeted nor spoken to, but all the employees looked at us. The young lady in glasses that took our order didn't tell us we could order after she helped the previous customer. We awkwardly stared at each other and she eventually said "you can order if you want". She took my girlfriends order and then said something to me. She had a mask on and she was speaking low so I responded "pardon me", she then, in a condescending way said "what do you want to order?". What shocked me the most is when she huffed and rolled her eyes. I paid for my order and she handed me my receipt without a word, no thank you or anything. We decided to eat outside, which was awkward because there was a lady there for an interview, and we could hear the manager on her cell telling someone how she hates doing interviews. The lady being interviewed might have heard her as well. We've been going to Einstein for years, not this one, I Usually go to the one on Decatur and Sahara or closer to home by Ft. I've came a few times in the morning before work and everything is always good. This is my second go to place for breakfast and coffee.

I only go here cause its close to my home, the one on eastern is way better. Customer service is ok, very slow at taking orders and making food. I recommend if you are in a rush, this location isn't the one to go to. Sometimes it takes like 20 minutes for me to get my food and like ten minutes to order. They seem to always forget to make egg whites, so everyone behind me is getting their order way before me. They are terrible at asking for the rewards number, maybe one lady there actually asks she seems to be the manager. At least the coffee and food is good here, but beware they have messed up on my order a few times, always check before you go. One of my vices is a bagel with cream cheese and an ice coffee. That's why I love Einstein's! They have a great deal for $3.99 a bagel with a smear of your choice and a coffee. Einstein's has soooo many different bagels it's hard to pick just one sometimes. Some of my favorites are the Pumpernickel bagel, Pretzel bagel and the Garlic bagel. I really enjoy their Garlic and Herb smear. It's reduced fat, but you would never know. If your feeling adventurous i'd suggest the Garlic bagel with a Salmon smear! Yum! If you have a little extra cash I like to indulge in the Nova Lox bagel. It has capers, tomato, thin slices of red onion, lox and a smear. As far as drinks go I always get a regular ice coffee. It has unlimited refills! Yay! Even though they get busy at times the staff is friendly and always do their best to help you. If your craving a bagel and your in the area hit up Einstein's.
