    Restaurant week menu
    Lindsey D.

This place is very gluten free friendly which I loved. They have an entire gluten friendly menu with pancakes and muffins and they have gluten free bread for sandwiches. I will say, we only tried the restaurant week menu so I can't say I truly got the best representation of the business because of it. Service was quick and the food came out very quickly. The coffee cake was soooo light but I do wish it had a little more fo the cinnamon topping because it kind of tasted like simple angel food cake. But it was served hot and again super soft and good. The grilled ham and cheese on gluten free bread was very good and cooked well. The skillet was also very good and well cooked.

The service was very fast. The food was just ok. Nothing to brag about. The portions were a good size. Kind of expensive for the quality of food.

I had not been to this location yet but the food quality is always consistent! I tried Joes scramble. It was served with hash browns. The eggs were good well and the spinach and cheese were delicious. We ordered the cracked croissant and it was enjoyable with lots of Flavor Weill return again - be sure to download the app for discounts

Been coming here for years and never been disappointed. The most Savory breakfast in town.

Service was phenomenal. Use to live in Green Valley years ago, when I come into town to visit family The cracked egg has been our go to spot for breakfast. Our server was beyond attentive to us.

The food was delicious specially what my nephew had it was super healthy. He enjoyed and was happy. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and polite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was nice thy do have a lots of decoration of rosters and chicken, pretty cute!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered the croissant sandwich with hash browns. The hash browns had no flavor at all i had to add so much salt & pepper to even be able to eat them. The croissant was too overcooked it was kinda burnt or too toasted and so chewy due to it being overcooked. I was not able To enjoy my breakfast . I don't recommend ordering this at all. My son got a chocolate chip pancake he liked it. The service was great our server was excellent.

Everytime we are in Las Vegas- we visit our favorite breakfast spot- The Cracked Egg! Never disappoints! My favorite has always been the breakfast burrito (chorizo, peppers, add potatoes!) yum-yum!!!! The pancakes are the way pancakes should be done! Perfectly brown and delish! The coffee was lovely and the coffee cake was wonderful! We had a lovely waitress who you could tell has been there a while- very experienced, attentive, knowledgeable and just wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot for your next breakfast outing! YUMMERS!

Seems like I am always left with decision making for meals and it honestly can be exhausting. But I think Mr G gets frustrated/disappointed when he suggest spots and I'm just like blah about it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]His first choice, after looking at their Yelp pics & reviews... I was like "really? This ihop/ Dennys looking @$$ place?!" LOL[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. If I travel by plane to be here, I am not eating boring forgettable blank. I was a little skeptical about this spot as his other choice but didn't want to discourage him even further so I went with it. Not having any expectations was a good thing. As we waited to be seated I looked over the specials on their written board behind the register. I did like that skillet, can't remember it's name, but I knew it would be way too much. After looking over the menu I choose something a bit lighter and healthier. Mr G had his heart set on burrito so I think he did the build your own option. The one thing I been obsessed about since then was the coffee cake. I don't think I've had a coffee cake like this but it's hard to forget about honestly. I've been watching video after video on coffee cake recipes, I'm completely obsessed. My breakfast plate was really good and filling. Had enough to bring back about half. I went with the waitress suggestion of seasoned potatoes, good call! We highly recommend. Easy to find, convenient parking, lots of spaces. Sweet employees, great value. Highly recommend. BTW there is an option to buy a whole coffee cake, they just need advanced notice. There are reasons lol.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by this breakfast spot in Green Valley near Smith's, and while it had a good crowd and a bit of a lively vibe, the experience didn't quite live up to the price.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is pretty basic--not much in terms of decor, but it's clean and functional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was friendly and checked in a few times, which was nice. I went for the chicken fried steak with hash browns and eggs. The portion was smaller than I expected, and the chicken itself was on the tiny side, but the flavor was decent. They offer refillable coffee, which is always a plus, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was a nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the price, though, I expected a bit more--larger portions, maybe a little more attention to detail in the atmosphere, or just something that justified the cost![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

For $23 after tax, this portion size is pitiful. Go somewhere else that's actually worth the better quality and portions you can get for the price.

Tried the huevos rancheros today with hash browns...both very good. This location is right by Smiths market..so it has lots of parking. Gets busy on the weekends but today there was no wait...got a booth right away. Service was very good, as well. Definitely will be back to try something else.

Running errands in the shopping center and stopped for brunch. No problem getting parking. And no problem getting a table qt 9 AM on a Friday. We decided to share a Big Bad Wolf Omelet with a side of potatoes ($18.75). Instead of toast we asked for a bagel with cream cheese ($1.90 add on). Huge portion so easy to split. The omelet was loaded with meats and very tasty. The bagel was a disappointment. David, our server, was very attentive.

CREPES, COFFEE AND MORE…read more.. I went to this French cafe over a week ago to try to get a crepe to go. It was not overly busy. It's very casual and easy to order at the counter and go. Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

I don't think there is one bad thing on the menu..it has a plethora of sweet breakfast treats, savory breakfast items and even a whole selection of lunch staples - like sandwiches, salads, wraps and burgers. If you are ever stumped on what to order, just take a look around the walls inside and see all the amazing photos of their dishes hung up for display. Some of my favorites over the years are the S.O.B burger (pretzel bun, tasty sauce, crispy jalapeno bacon, yum!), the snow caps (such a fun take on eating a traditional bagel - lightly dusted with powdered sugar on top), a grilled blueberry muffin (ever had a blueberry muffin melt in your mouth? well order this and then you can say yes), the crunchberry French toast (sweet and filling, mainly to share with a friend or few) and the Tijuana turkey (but as a wrap!). Aside from those, another standout item - if you're a benedict fan - is the brisket burnt ends benedict. It is perfect and every bite makes you love it even more. If you're an OC and been visiting Sunrise for some time, they've been offering a featured menu of dishes they used to carry way back in the day for all your flavorful memories. For our most recent brunch visit, we decided it was an omelette day! I ordered a build your own omelette and my lunchmates got a Greek Omelette and the Turkey Taco Omelette. All were so tasty and fresh and with forkfuls of potatoes in between each bite, they really hit the spot. They have outdoor seating if you'd like to enjoy the weather and bring a furry friend with you (and water bowls for them too!), indoor seating at tables and a handful of higher chairs at a small breakfast bar. Keep in mind, though there is a decent sized interior for dining, most tables are set to probably seat groups of 4-6 though they may be able to accommodate larger parties. They are open every day of the week, with exception of some holidays, usually from 7:30a to about 2:00p and usually very packed on the weekends. With over 1.5k reviews on google and thousands on Yelp just under five stars, Sunrise has been around and in town for the past 20+ years for many good reasons. If you haven't visited Sunrise, met Angie and Andrew or any of the other lovely faces like Troy, Kelli, Carlos, Matt, and all the others, you absolutely need to. I hope it becomes your new favorite breakfast spot as it is for myself and many locals in town!

What was most disappointing was that the servers clearly saw us but made no attempt to make contact. And no, they were not busy. The Stephanie location is usually much busier, yet we have never experienced anything like this there. At around 8:45 am we decided to leave. Before leaving, I spoke with the host and asked for a manager. The manager did apologize and asked us to stay so they could take care of us, but by that point we had already made up our minds to leave and go somewhere else.
