The service is TERRIBLE and the place is a MESS. It is as if they pulled people off the streets and told them to work the counter. The "order here" sign is a ruse -- you can stand there forever and no one will take your order. Apparently you have to walk the 10 ft to the other end of the counter to the "pick up" location to order -- although no one behind the counter tells you that. I only repeated my order 10 times to get handed the wrong food that looked like it was randomly thrown together in a hamper. The workers' attitudes couldn't be more sour. I don't know what is going on at this location but the place needs an overhaul. Poor bagels deserve better than this. read more

I decided to pre order 13 bagels this morning due to the fact that I was having a get together. Always get emails from Einstein's and realized it was $7 for 13 bagels which is a good deal. I like to call ahead especially when they are running a special, because I know they run out quickly. Unfortunately when I drove all the way there, I was told they did not have any bagels, even though I had confirmed it this morning. I even asked the guy that took my order if he wanted my phone number. Told the Assistant Manager they should have at least made the effort to call me. He showed me the paper with my order and all it had on it was the area code. Really? Have pre ordered from them in the past and never had an issue. He suggested I drive all the way to Melbourne to see if they had any. No thanks! From now on I will not be giving my business to this location. Bad customer service. read more

I just walked out of Einstein's with nothing. Today is half price bagel Monday, so at 11 am you would expect they would have a large selection of bagels. Their was a total of 6 bagels in the case, 5 potato and 1 chocolate chip. A rack of bagels came out while I was standing there and we were told the bagels were only to be used for sandwiches. This place is run so inefficiently and has terrible customer service. I'm not going back. read more

This place was a disappointment. Ive driven by multiple times always craving a lox and bagel. Today we finally stopped and got it. The order came promptly which is why they get two stars and not one. However both of our lox came looking about as appetizing as a three year olds first attempt at making breakfast. The bagel was cold and nothing to brag about, the cream cheese was only on a part of the bagel, 4 capers on one half of one slice, 3 on the other. The lox(salmon) was just a massive clump and the red onions were huge. I ate half a sandwich and threw the other away. The other sandwich was thrown away all together. It appeared just as disappointing. We also ordered a chocolate chip coffee cake that was anything but moist and airy like a coffee cake should be. I will say the coffee was pretty decent. But overall this was a huge disappointment especially after spending $25 for two people for breakfast. I've experienced better, and expect better. read more

I have been to this Einsteins a few times lately. The food is fine and the staff seem friendly enough, but the service is incredibly slow. Since the covid-19 pandemic, I have found that going thru the drive thru has taken between 30 and 60 minutes to order, pay and receive my food. And this is just coffee and bagels, nothing fancy. Some drivers got out of the drive thru line and went inside. I don't think it mattered, as they got their food at about the same time I did. I don't know if they are baking each bagel to order, or grinding the coffee beans for each cup of coffee they make, but what ever it is, they have to figure out how to get the drive thru to move. Go take a look at Chik-Fil-A, they have the drive thru down to a science. Hopefully they will figure this out so I don't have to take a vacation day when I go and get coffee and bagels before work. read more

We moved here almost a year ago and had a great bagel place we frequented. So I was excited to see a bagel store not too far from my house. I read the reviews here and shied away as the reviews weren't too good. One day as I was driving by I thought what the heck, ill give them a try. If they're bad then I've been warned. I mean, c'mon it's just a bagel. So I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. I purchased a half dozen with some cream cheese. They're really good. They also have a great variety of cream cheese flavors they call shmears. I really like their bagel bites filled with cream cheese. They are amazing and just the perfect size if you're hungry but don't want an entire bagel. Their breakfast sandwiches are great too. I'm glad I gave them a try. read more

Read a lot of bad reviews on this place but decided to just give it a shot because it's near where I live. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered their iced hazelnut mocha and nova lox and they were both so delicious! Line was long but seemed like they were moving fast and I didn't have to wait long for my order either. Staff didn't seem all that friendly though, no one greeted me hello or thanked me for coming. Just glad I enjoyed my order and didn't have to wait long for it. read more

Weeeeellll... I knew bagels would be back with a vengeance after that fraud Atkins died and was exposed. Apparently the proprietors of this particular location weren't quite ready for the mad rush. The lines were long and slow. The drive-thru wrapped around the entire building. And while we were inside waiting for our Baker's Dozen (apparently you don't have to wait in the main line if all you want is bagels), we experienced many customers who were angry after receiving the wrong order. The tables needed to be wiped down desperately but it didn't appear there were enough people to do that. However, they got the important stuff right. The bagels were fresh and delicious, just as I remember them in the 90s. And just as the batch of everything bagels dwindled down to the last one, someone brought a new batch from the ovens which made the angry New Yorker behind me very happy. They were trying hard and there will always be growing pains with a new store. But I believe with a little time they will get this right. If you have a food allergy, like peanuts, you might want to use caution and avoid this place during their growing pains. I couldn't get a straight answer if certain bagels were safe to eat. read more

I went on Thursday for first time my order was taken around 7:09 I did not walk out of the building until 7:27 for a bagel with cheese egg and sausage. While standing there waiting I watched and heard a staff member yelling at another staff member about a bagel delivery it was embarrassing. Not enough tables, trash cans overflowing, tables not wiped down. **update** After all the customers in line were served, one hard working lady came out and rearranged all the tables that had been pushed together, wiped them down, fixed the over flowing trash and restocked the coffee bar. This is a new location and it's very obvious. First time I went was a few days ago through the drive through before work. There were not many cars in the parking lot and only two cars ahead of me. I'm not sure what the first car ordered but it took them FOREVER just to open the window to get their payment. It took me about 10 min to get through and the car ahead of me ordered coffee and I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. Now it's Sunday, and we needed something quick (ha) for breakfast. I tried again. This time I went in. It took the girl at the register 5 tries to get my order right. I ordered the Sante Fe sandwich with one egg on a plain bagel instead of asiago. Then I ordered a French toast sandwich with two eggs. She applied my modifications of my first order to the second. Which was weird. I apologized and told her no, the second one is just normal. No changes. After waiting quite a while, I get told they are out of French toast bagels. No big deal. I finally get my order and take it home. My sandwich is obviously not on a plain bagel and my husbands only has one egg and maybe 2 pieces of bacon. The biggest problem I had was that they were both gross. There is more of the smear on them than the actual egg, meat, and cheese. And the smears were gross. I'm a little sad that I ate it but we were starving. Obviously I'll stay away from their bagel sandwich creations from now on, but they definitely need to work on training or maybe do a second hiring round. It's definitely rough in there. read more

Went to the Wickham Rd Store, walking in a lady coming out said good luck getting waited on, went in and saw 4 workers no welcome they were busy working on orders from it looked like the drive up,there just talking away to themselves,I waited and waited no one even looked at the line at the order area.finally I walked out and told a guy with his kids coming in good luck ordering and he turn around and left,with the boss not there these kids just don't give a F..this is why raising the min wage to 15.00 won't help..bad help is still bad help..run from this place,my time is worth more than wasting it in this Einstein Bagels Store..it's hit and miss since they opened. I was so excited to see Einstein Bros opening up near our subdivision....more so when my Daughter sent me an eGift Card, I used part of it one day to get a Chicken Salad Sandwich which was good but the bun could have been used as a hockey puck. Went back last week.....placed my order but when I went up to pay a man said they didn't take eGift Cards. When I told him I had used it before at that location he got very rude....told the clerk that had my order to throw it out. Called the corporate office and they said that store was a franchise and they couldn't control the owner....he makes his own rules...they have lost a customer and my Daughter is out $17.95. By 9AM they were packed inside and in the drive through. 15 minutes in the drive through and neither of our orders were correct. I went inside to get it corrected and it was nuts. No one knew what was going on. I reordered and it came out wrong AGAIN! Plus they were thrown together in a sloppy mess. We just left with the wrong food. I don't have time for this. It's a Friday morning at 8:20. I see the line at the drive-thru, no worries its worth the wait. I order my usual at least 4 times a month, The Farmhouse two eggs no smear, butter, please. Oh! and May I have an Iced Breve Latte. Oh, that is with 1/2 &1/2 (interrupted) I KNOW WHAT THAT IS AND HOW TO MAKE IT. Wait, what.. The first time I went to this place after opening they were extremely slow and the lady didn't even turn around to acknowledge me. This was at 6 am in a work day, after a little while I went back outside to look at the door to make sure they were open...they were. Came back in said g"ood morning I'd like a dozen bagels" and she finally turned around and said I'll be with you in a min. A few min later she rudely helped me so I tried to be extra nice because hey.....maybe she was having a bad morning. I let this go and have been back quite a few times and just the last two time the store seems to finally have found its groove and improved the employee customer interactions. The drive through was extremely quick and just this past Friday while picking up bagels for my coworkers they were very responsive fast and nice. I did notice however the general manager was there with them at 6 am so maybe this is new. Bagels are great (especially the Six Cheese with Garlic and Herb cream cheese) but the customer service was lacking immensely on a visit for Memorial Day. My family and I went in around 11:15am and the person taking our order was extremely rude. She was no taller than 5'7, young, petite, blonde and had a cap on. She had no enthusiasm, wasn't smiling, was rude when asking what we wanted in our two separate orders and was snappy. I wanted to order a Baker's dozen and when I told her I'd start off with a two specific types of bagels, her response was "Yeah we can't do that. We won't have enough for you." She then said the bagels were being used for other orders. I TOTALLY understand if it were true as the store was pretty busy but literally 20 minutes later and at least 12-13 orders later, all 6 of the bagels I wanted to include in my order were still there. This girl in particular just shouldn't be working talking to customers- it makes for a bad experience when the person you're talking to is being rude and has no emotion. I will say, there is one worker who I love who is constantly chirpy, sweet and enthusiastic at all times of day. My next visit I decided to go inside. I said jokingly to the lady behind the counter if they were hiring some more people to help out... She told me that someone got into a car crash and called out... Now, I'm not sure how to take this but she really didn't need to tell me that much detail. Have gone here twice since they opened. First time I went thru the drive thru and I ordered an everything bagel with salmon spread and was told they were out of everything bagels so got a sesame. It took a long time and there was so little cream cheese on it the bagel was practically dry. They had only been open a week at this time so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided I would try again a few weeks later. Unfortunately, it was no better the second time around. My husband and I went in over the weekend. They have a two line system, you wait once in line to order and then you go and wait in another line to pay. It took 25 minutes for our two bagels to be ready. Again, my bagel had so little cream cheese on it you could see the bread and I had to make an effort to spread it around just to cover the bare spots. My husband ordered an egg sandwich bagel which was a soggy mess. What's up with being so chintzy on the cream cheese? If I wanted a dry bagel I would order one. read more

Just wanted to share my experience at Einstein bagels on Wickham Road in Melbourne. When they first opened I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy and the staff was new. I've been there several times in the past year and each time the service is terrible. You have to wait while people behind the counter sit there and bullshit instead of taking care of customers that are waiting in line. This is a continual problem that I've experienced in each of the last several visits. At this point I would not recommend going there unless you have plenty of time to waste waiting to get serviced. I will not be going back ever again because of their poor customer service. Oh, one other thing, please take care of the customers online instead of the drive-through. We are just as important as the drive-through while we're waiting on line in your Business. I've watched the drive-through get 4 to 5 orders out in the walk-in line get one customer service in the same time that is just wrong and you need to address it. read more

I know people are quick to write a bad review but I didn't. I cooled off and wrote the company. The General Manager contacted me, thanked me for letting him know of my experience, and offered for me to come in for lunch on him. I gave it a lot of thought and about 2 weeks later I went in unannounced. Gabe Garcia was there, he is the General manager, and he remembered our correspondence, and immediately rolled out the red carpet. The first thing I want to say is that this is a hands on manager, which I like. He made no excuses for my bad experience, but definitely made sure my current experience was pleasurable. The bagel egg sandwich was perfect, the iced coffee was excellent, and just when I thought the experience was over he brought out dessert. The chocolate lava cookie was the best. My family is well aware of Einstein Bros having lived many years in Colorado, so my disappointment when I felt I would never come back when I live so close was a let down. Gabe Garcia erased that all, I believe that the kinks are worked out. I will be returning to this establishment frequently. read more
