I've eaten at this location before with no issues. This morning, my daughter and I ordered our usual bagel & lox. We waited a long time and when we received our order, the bagels were cold, not toasted as we ordered. In addition, there were hardly any onions (I gave mine to my daughter) and capers, mushy tomatoes, which we both end up removing, and 2 small pieces of lox. Workers were courteous. I heard this is bagel day not entirely sure if it is. If it is they aren't doing anything special for the big day. I got a santa fe sandwich and a apple cinnamon bagel with honey almond cream cheese. I heard on the news we are going through a cream cheese shortage and that is not the case here thankfully! Came back today to try the breakfast sandwich....The "thick cut bacon" on my sandwich was so thin, it was transparent. The tomato was sliced obnoxiously thick. The avocado was unripe. The sandwich was ICE COLD, which is disturbing because this was immediately after I received it. I have been to several locations and I rarely will write a negative review. However, I think customer service is absolutely important. Being kind to people that are spending any kind of money in your establishment. Unfortunately, today, that wasn't the case. I was yelled at from across the restaurant as I was standing eating my bagel to go sit outside because they weren't allowing anyone to sit inside. (Ps. Word of advice: Don't plan to enjoy your coffee or drink at the bar stands inside (pulling a mask down as you sip), while waiting 30 minutes for your food. A few of the workers feel that humiliating a person is more of their job title than serving people food. I was waiting 6 feet away from everyone with my family and sipping my coffee, while putting my mask back up during my sips. A young man in an orangish yellow shirt came rushing from the back just to yell at me that I have to wear a mask even though I was sipping my coffee. He yelled go outside and drink your coffee. Thing is...there were others doing the same thing, yet I was singled out to be treated rudely. So I asked for a refund for not being able to enjoy my coffee in peace while keeping my distance and putting mask up in between sips like at any other food service location. Again, the young cashiers preferred to shame me with the "wow" bullying noises as if I needed to put up with their harassment in the first place and give them my hard earned money. Wow, is right about how they treated me as well. Luckily, the manager was gracious and refunded me and apologized. Suggestion: Train your employees to not be so rude and to call out ALL Customers not just one. I love Einstein bagels and coffee. Egg whites, spinach, and mushroom on a pretzel bagel is delicious. However, I feel like this particular location is a bit subpar to other Einsteins. The coffee bar often needs attention, the staff seem stressed, and the customer service needs improvement. Today I received an incorrect order, when I brought it to their attention, they were unpleasant about it. No one ever apologized for the inconvenience. It was poorly handled. I was the only one in line Saturday morning, and saw at least 4 people standing behind the counter. 1 was working; 3 of them were chatting. At least 2 saw me, but it took a little while for 1 to call me over to the cash register to order. BTW, that's at the other end of the counter where a big sign says "Order here." Guess it's too hard to chat when you're separated like that. Okay, then. The guy at the register greeted me friendly enough and asked for my order. I just started to say a toasted pumpernickel...and he turned away from me in mid-sentence to walk off and speak to a co-worker. That left 1 more, who just stood back away from the counter looking at me. Don't know what they were talking about, but it was obviously more important than taking an order. I've been coming here for several years. The bagels are spendy, but good. The service has been mostly okay, but now and then you get some clunkers. So check the date here and be warned. After that, I went to their drip coffee and prepared myself nice house coffee. As I was there, I heard my name called out, rather loudly, so I went to the counter and jokingly asked the girl why she was yelling at me. She laughed, and politely said my food was ready. I grabbed my food and found a table near a window. I first ate the bacon, cheese, and egg bagel sandwich and it was very good for $4.80. I work in the area and just about everybody at my office gets bagels here . We get them for team meetings , for celebrating and for lunch when you're having a bagel craving . Ive never had a bad bagel here . I just bought 4 bagels and a slice of coffee cake and didn't even get cream cheese on the bagels and it was almost 10 dollars , so they're a little pricey . But my kids and I enjoyed them . I really liked the chocolate chip coffee cake . I warmed it up and the chocolate chips melted a little , it was damn good . They also have a cinnamon apple bagel , it's also damn good !! Pro tip get a bakers dozen on Mondays for $7 . They recommend ordering them a day a ahead to make sure they have them for you . I have come here many times. I love their egg specialty bagels. But almost every time I come either one of the sandwiches are burnt to a crisp or they forgot a hash brown. But today I ordered the Texas brisket egg bagel with a hash brown and a farm house egg bagel with a hash brown and I got two bagels with cream cheese. I could not have been more disappointed with this order. I payed online for pick up because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to come back. The receipt on the bag however had my name on it and the order that I had placed, but not my bagels. If I could leave no stars I would. They are very inconsistent in the quality of the bagels. Usually cinnamon sugar bagels have a good amount of the topping on them, which gives them the cinnamon sugar taste.... last time I came they were out of cinnamon sugar bagels but the person behind the counter graciously made us some! They were really great and had a good amount of the cinnamon sugar topping. I've had good bagels from this location before but this time was really disappointing. I buy and freeze my bagels so I have them for the week but I don't think I'll even keep these. They are barely with any cinnamon sugar flavor, basically a slightly sweet plain bagel. Gross. This was my first time here and most of the staff was extremely patient with my lacking knowledge. Most of the staff was extremely friendly and inviting though two people seemed rather stressed. I have to say that overall the main area was comfortable, but a little crowded, granted it was a busy day. For the first time trying their food I was extremely impressed with the food and the fair prices. The only reason for it being 4 stars is the fact that the seating areas and coffee bench area were a bit messy with food crumbs and coffee, but it's understandable with how busy the place was at the time. They always use the same knife from the onion cream cheese so my Cinnamon sugar bagel taste like onion cream cheese and it taste disgusting.
