The store was spacious and very clean. It wasn't too busy, but there were a few people already eating and ordering. The cashier was very friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the old man making the drinks seemed to be in a bad mood--slamming drinks down and mumbling so much that multiple customers had to ask if the drinks were theirs. When I finally got mine, it had caramel running all down the side of the cup, which I didn't notice until it ended up all over my shirt. Definitely something that needs improvement.

Service was awesome, super friendly staff very helpful and let me take my time deciding what I wanted to order. Ambiance was nice, clean big open space, was happy to note they also had high chairs for baby. Food was surprise holyyyyy molyyyy gooodness. I'm from New York and honestly this is the closest to New York bagels any Florida restaurant can get. Besides that, my partner enjoyed his all nighter and I loved my garden avocado egg sandwhich.

Bagels are really good. We got the everything bagel ($2.29) and the cheddar jalapeno bagel ($2.29 +.80). Shmear/cream cheese is a $2 add on. We came in the morning and bagels were constantly being refilled and freshly baked since it was busy. I also love that the hot coffee comes with unlimited refills! They had a medium roast, dark roast, flavored coffee and decaf available when I came. Pro tip - sign up for their rewards program and you'll get bonuses (like free coffee) with purchase. The only thing is that they seemed kind of unprepared for the breakfast rush, but were still friendly. Overall, good casual breakfast spot.

So I don't know if it's just an off day? But we got delivery and I got a bagel and my girlfriend got the farmhouse egg sandwich and we got it delivered. The delivery was quick. The food was awful. The bagel wasn't warm or hot it was cold. Only toasted on one side. The farmhouse egg sandwich, was cold and over salted. The cheese wasn't melted, the cream cheese was more like a loose aioli. The egg on the sandwich was well done. No runny yolk like there used to be. The sandwich seemed smaller than usual. It was just a bad experience. So we are now heating up the food in the air fryer.

    Green eggs.

If green eggs and ham is what I ordered, I't be right on. The eggs are green. The bagel was rubbery and the service was abysmal. The restaurant is dirty. It's really dead I hear. Now I know why.

Consistency is a problem almost $9 for a breakfast sandwich look at the pics almost no sauce maybe 1 slice of bacon nothing like advertised

Another very good bagel Having a bagel sounded good, and it was. I stopped in at Einstein this morning and got their Everything Bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. Soft and salty, it was just what I wanted. They now allow eating in and it wasn't at all busy, so I could eat and go rather than go and eat. The staff was fine, got the job done. Looking at their menu board, I saw they offer sandwiches, including something called their Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich that looked really good in the picture. I should try that sometime. I did not see anything about Caribou Coffee, which used to co-exist here. Even though Einstein Bros and Caribou Coffee are owned by the same company, looks like at this location it is just drip coffee now.

I love stopping at Einstein Bagels and Caribou Coffee when I'm in the area. The bagel sandwiches are hearty and tasty. They've always come out warm. The coffee is always fresh and piping hot! My favorite is the self-serve Vanilla Hazelnut. No need to add creamers or sugar. I'm a black coffee drinker so this is a nice flavored treat without all the calories. Shoot, I drive across town on a Saturday to snag some Vanilla Hazelnut coffee. Service is pretty good. It's always busy which is a true testament to their product. The app is very handy to have because you can order ahead for walk in or curbside. Also they're rewards program and promotions always have some sort of offer that I can use. Plus you get a free sandwich for your birthday. The rewards is the smear to my bagel. Makes the trip that much better.

Great wing options and we tried their cilantro garlic version--delish and different. They had about 10 wing options--wow! Drinks very reasonable and decent volume/quantity/pour. A buck for my soda water with lemon..... a bargain for the driver and non-drinker! The boss got 10 wings, 1/2 parm cheese and 1/2 barbecue. The reputation is best wings in Sarasota??? She like flats only and we paid $1 for just flats. This was a very nice option as I the whole food plant based "spartan vegan" will usually cringe at leaving those drums behind or wasted??? I did try one of each though. I believe they are baked and then before serving deep fried to crisp them up and heat them. Sadly the barbecued ones where burnt (see picture) and a little too crisped. The meat and most of the wing and the flavor was pretty good. 5/10 The parm wings where actually the opposite and the meat and wing undercooked, but the deep fry dunking crisped up the skin which would have been really raw and rubbery. These were also seasoned nicely and tasty. 8/10 Both easily fantastic with attention to pre-cooking and cooking? I got the Cup o' Spuds (sweet potato) in a little basket. These were pretty deeply fried and a few blackened/burnt but were nice and hot and flavorful and couple burned gave it some character and was a big deal. The menu is very limited for whole food plant based, vegetarian, vegan, nutritarian mix and match or anything....... so went with one of the three salads. the Side Salad I got an entree size. Romaine, diced tomatoes, cucumbers and black olives and a balsamic. My server missed my point after the second ask about adding "protein". I would have LOVED to have seen some black, pinto, kidney, navy, garbanzo, or any kind of BEANS to add to this salad as a "PROTEIN" or a quinoa, or even scoop of rice or edamame or even a few chunks of toasted or grilled tofu!!!! The salad ingredients were fresh and a nice amount of each. Dressing good but I only used a little since I thought I had asked for Balsamic Vinegar (no oil) and this was a Balsamic "Dressing" with actually quite a bit of oil. Service by "Nightime Bar B" was very attentive and friendly. REALLY good! Fielded our myriad of questions and we were never wanting or waiting. We had a long discussion about the wings which is why my wife wanted to go here. Maybe I should have put this first.......but the pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable especially for Main Street and I guess technically IN Season? The drinks about $12 for a Cosmo, Tito and club $10 ? Tax, tags, tip at 20% plus and we got out under $70 for two!!! VERY nice! Good spot. We will be back!!! As we have just about completed the Mainstreet and City of Sarasota circuit these guys are in the "rotation" for a before cabaret or full production play at the FST.

They're conveniently located on Fruitville Rd near the Sprouts market and they're a perfect spot to stop by whether you need a quick bite or on your way to or from the beach in the area. There isn't anything I've tried here that has disappointed. Note that their hours of operation do change every so often so check on Google before visiting. I think my favorite of all the options is the Portobello mushroom melt. It does have a considerable amount of moisture from the tofu, portobello mushroom and spinach combination. I've learned it's best to have it at the restaurant and lifting the bread ever so slightly once your unwrap the sandwich so that it releases the extra heat before you enjoy it. It'll save you from a burn! I like asking for tempeh "bacon" or soy curls as add-ons depending on which item I'm ordering. Tempeh "bacon" works great on sandwiches and soy curls in the wraps. I also like their fried mushroom sandwich which is supposed to mimic a Chick-fil-A sandwich because it's satisfying but not heavy. Their brown sugar Oatmylk iced coffee was nice because it didn't taste sugary and I liked their iced tea option that was the very berry forward one. They have good sweets also like their banana chocolate chip muffin. I'm looking forward to trying their vegan tiramisu.

I was seated facing a wall so I didn't get a good long look at my surroundings but between what I did see and looking at photos posted on Yelp the theme seems to be chickens. Our server was friendly and available to answer any questions as we spent time looking over the menu. I settled on The Hitman, a double patty smashed burger with American cheese, hen sauce, fried mozzarella, Nueske's bacon, with a side of garlic parm fries. It isn't listed on the online menu but there is a note the menu changes frequently so it may not match the day's offering. Let me start by saying that two of the people at my table got salads and were disappointed that there was too much lettuce and too little other stuff. With that out of the way, let me talk about The Hitman, which I loved. What is Nueske bacon? This is a special smoked flavorful bacon made by the Nueske family. Fork & Hen uses thick cut, and there were two slices on my burger. My burger towered so high there was no hope of picking it up, so I attacked it with knife and fork. Being made with Focaccia bread certainly added to the height, but so did a thick block of mozzzrella cheese. The cheese, melted on the inside and crispy on the outside, was substantial. I would be careful biting into a hot block of melted cheese, think pizza mouth. In my photo I broke into one corner to show that is cheese, so much cheese. The burger patty part topped with American cheese was by itself great, like you might find at a home cookout or Smashburgers. Other toppings were there but for me this was meat and a lot of cheese. And as much bread as you want. I loved my surprising good cheeseburger.

Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.
