The bagels are marginal, the staff is terrible and can absolutely never get an order correct, and if you like cream cheese or butter or whatever topping on your bagel don't go here since they will spread it so thin you won't even know you got any. The store was spacious and very clean. It wasn't too busy, but there were a few people already eating and ordering. The cashier was very friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the old man making the drinks seemed to be in a bad mood--slamming drinks down and mumbling so much that multiple customers had to ask if the drinks were theirs. When I finally got mine, it had caramel running all down the side of the cup, which I didn't notice until it ended up all over my shirt. Definitely something that needs improvement. read more

Ambiance was nice, clean big open space, was happy to note they also had high chairs for baby. Food was surprise holyyyyy molyyyy gooodness. Bagels are really good. We got the everything bagel ($2.29) and the cheddar jalapeno bagel ($2.29 +.80). Shmear/cream cheese is a $2 add on. We came in the morning and bagels were constantly being refilled and freshly baked since it was busy. I also love that the hot coffee comes with unlimited refills! They had a medium roast, dark roast, flavored coffee and decaf available when I came. Pro tip - sign up for their rewards program and you'll get bonuses (like free coffee) with purchase. I stopped for a breakfast bagel sandwich and WOW, I am glad I did. When I arrived it was very, very busy, most tables were full and there was a line making orders. There were two registers submitting food orders and the kitchen was kicking them out fast. The line was moving very well and everything was hot, even the coffee. I made a simple order for: 2 apple pastry's (one for me and one to take home to my wife), a bacon cheddar sandwich on a biscuit n' gravy bagel and a cup of coffee. Get this - by the time I paid, poured a cup of coffee at the end of the counter, my order was called - I was out the door and on my way home. Not only was this place efficient, but the food was absolutely delicious. I am glad I saw this bagel on the menu board. So I don't know if it's just an off day? But we got delivery and I got a bagel and my girlfriend got the farmhouse egg sandwich and we got it delivered. The delivery was quick. The food was awful. The bagel wasn't warm or hot it was cold. Only toasted on one side. The farmhouse egg sandwich, was cold and over salted. The cheese wasn't melted, the cream cheese was more like a loose aioli. The egg on the sandwich was well done. No runny yolk like there used to be. The sandwich seemed smaller than usual. It was just a bad experience. Stopped in for a quick bagel on a Saturday morning, and the place was much busier than expected. Took a couple minutes to get up to the register but when we did, the cashier was tremendously friendly and apologized for the wait. My son and I ordered a couple bagel sandwiches, and before ringing us up, the cashier warned us that it would likely be 20 to 25 minutes before we would receive our food, given the busyness of the restaurant. We told him it wasn't a problem, and he offered us a free drink or coffee to enjoy while we waited. We took him up on the coffee offer, and their vanilla coffee but absolutely fantastic. Turns out that 20 to 25 minute wait was closer to about 5 minutes, and we appreciated the under promising and over delivering on the time. Both sandwiches were great, as usual. And the entire experience was much better than expected, given how busy the restaurant was. read more

Coffee is good. Bagels are average. The cost is ridiculous. I spent 60$ for a bakers dozen and a breakfast bagel and coffee. The inline app does not work ' it's a lot of trouble logging in and out a few times. When is Sarasota going to get a privately owned big apple bagel ? Another very good bagel Having a bagel sounded good, and it was. I stopped in at Einstein this morning and got their Everything Bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. Soft and salty, it was just what I wanted. They now allow eating in and it wasn't at all busy, so I could eat and go rather than go and eat. The staff was fine, got the job done. Looking at their menu board, I saw they offer sandwiches, including something called their Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich that looked really good in the picture. I should try that sometime. I did not see anything about Caribou Coffee, which used to co-exist here. While traveling down to Sarasota for work, I realized that I completely forgot to pack ANY snacks or foods for my hotel stay. Therefore, each morning I was left hungry and without breakfast. No fear, Einstein bagel is always a decent choice for a quick and easy breakfast. Normally I order an everything bagel sandwich with one egg and bacon. This time was no different. Their everything bagels have an after taste that is literally to die for. I cannot compare them to any other bagel I've ever had - no lie. While getting ready for work, I decided to order online. Since I had some technical difficulties with their online ordering system, which is why I gave them 4/5 stars. I love stopping at Einstein Bagels and Caribou Coffee when I'm in the area. The bagel sandwiches are hearty and tasty. They've always come out warm. The coffee is always fresh and piping hot! My favorite is the self-serve Vanilla Hazelnut. No need to add creamers or sugar. I'm a black coffee drinker so this is a nice flavored treat without all the calories. Shoot, I drive across town on a Saturday to snag some Vanilla Hazelnut coffee. Service is pretty good. It's always busy which is a true testament to their product. The app is very handy to have because you can order ahead for walk in or curbside. Also they're rewards program and promotions always have some sort of offer that I can use. I stop at this Einstein bagels EVERY day....I have for over 9 months now. I order a bagel TOASTED. Not burnt. I just want it toasted. They know who I am. They know how I like my bagels. Picked up a bacon chicken avocado sandwich and buttered bagel at lunch time. It was made very slow and didn't have any potato rolls left, and they missed giving us the potato salad. We called them that afternoon and the Manager, Judy, said to come back in and she will make it right. We went in again the next day and everything was made perfectly and quickly. I come here a couple times per month. I don't think this location has gotten an order correct in the past year. Today was no different. I order a chorizo sunrise bagel and a large iced coffee with room for cream. Thankfully it was only that I received a small iced coffee filled to the brim. Also, I am a member of their rewards program and I always have to ask them if they want the phone number, I just think that they should be asking me before I order. Previous reviews talked about lack of communication between staff and I completely agree. Poorly run if they don't communicate and can't get orders consistently correct. read more

I'd never been to an Einstein Bros. before., they were highly recommended by my boyfriend and my uncle. Their soft (not chewy) bagel made an excellent sandwich. There was a small line of about 5 people but it moved quickly. The coffee was great, too! A delightful stop. Two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees came in at $14. I have visited this establishment over 20 times in my time living in sarasota and they have not once gotten my food right. Do not go here.

You can now get the worst bagel in town and the weakest cup of coffee at the same place! I've come here several times over the years, and I've always been disappointed. Their bagels are not boiled before baking, so they don't have the same texture as an actual bagel. Caribou coffee is usually very good, but the cup I had this morning was so week as to be undrinkable. If you want a decent bagel, head a mile south on 41 and go to Lox N Egg. read more
