I have been to this office for most of my life lol. Tell me why I go there to get my wisdom teeth removed and the Doctor pushed down on my jaw so hard I left that place and my jaw now clicks all the time even with soft foods. The girls in the front however have always been so nice as well as the assistants, it's just the patient care that needs to be taken care of. read more

The Dentist is rude to his workers, and wanted to charge me $6000 to do fix my teeth, and I only went for a cleaning

The "specialist" that saw my son yesterday abused him while doing work on him. To begin with, she didn't wait not even thirty seconds for the local anesthetic to kick in; she went in to "fix" a baby root canal. My son was crying as if he was being tortured because he actually was, imagine this on all sides of his little mouth, top and bottom because according to her he needed so many root canals and fillings. The way she would pull the corners of his mouth was so rough and that was with me being right in front of her, can't even imagine how they treat kids when parents stay outside. She cut his tongue and his lip by moving a block that kept his mouth open. She kept telling him to "go to sleep" over and over. It was traumatizing to experience this, I REGRET taking my baby here. I have so much guilt for putting him through this pain, at some point she had ran out of the one anesthetic syringe and her helper didn't hand out another one to her but still worked on the side that wasn't numbed and I told her "you haven't numbed that side" she replied "Yes, I have; his whole mouth is numb" when I was watching the whole time and her helpers didn't say anything. You could tell they couldn't stand her because the way she'd treat them was horrible. I knew before going in that I was making a bad decision, she didn't treat children or parents with kindness but I stayed because my son had 2 cavities that I was worried about. Also, even though he had already gone through all of that the person who takes x rays forces you and your child to stay to take a second round of X rays; imagine a baby in pain and out of it and she still wants these shots because according to her exact words " they won't pay her for the crowns" I have yet to find a decent dentist in this desert but this one took the cake because of her abuse, I cannot call it anything different. She abused my child on front of me and I felt so helpless and scared to say anything. I'm cr ying writing this because I can't even imagine how much it hurts to have this kind of work done without anesthesia kicking in, especially in a 3 year old. I was there for 6 hours!!! The specialist POS also said that if he gets something that looks like a pimple on his gums to take him back to extract the teeth which makes me think it's a tactic to charge more insurance money. I will be going in person to talk to this monster who treats babies worse than animals and definitely filing a report, I'd love to file a police report too. Can't imagine how much abuse she's gotten away with. read more

I just love this office and it's staff. I had my daughters going to a dentist across the street from here and I would wait an hour and would be skipped for staff friends who never had appointments. All is clean and everyone makes you feel welcome. read more

Friendly staff and nice office, but the treatment I got was not the best. Over a period of 5 months the dentist decided to "try to save my tooth", she prescribed me antibiotics and Tylenol more than 3 times and steroids twice every time the infection would come back. Then she proceed to do a root canal on that tooth which also got infected until I begged her to extract that tooth. It was terrible the infection was spreading and my tooth came out so fast due to the death tissue. I developed stomach ulcers due to all the medicine they prescribed me. Also during that period of time it was so difficult for me to get an appointment with the dentist because she wasn't there every week and no other dentist at the same office would want to see me. I was terrified and afraid I could die, the pain wasnot just it, but how long its taking me to recover. read more

Dont know what's worse, listening to the dentist raise his voice at his staff for 15 minutes (2 feet from the patients no less) for scheduling me during covid19 even though my mouths in painOn top of it Googling their "qualified" dentists shows that at least one of them (maybe the one who saw me) Dr. Farid Zurmati isn't to cared for by the board of dentists or people in his home state. I never had to leave a bad review on anyone, but I had a horrible day at EJ dental in Indio. Dr Abe. was very judgemental, saying I had a small mouth repeatedly. and then he was working on my crowns and I told him and making noises letting him know it was hurting when he was working on my tooth. And he didn't care he continued Working on. My tooth and it hurt real bad. And they he finish with 1 tooth, then he started on the other tooth, same thing it was hurting me like he was drilling into my nerves. But he didn't care. Then he moved my head to the right side and then he pushed down 2 times more on my head. from there I couldn't take it anymore so I told him to stop!!! I'm not doing this any more! And he said what's wrong you have anxiety? Did you take your medication?so I just told him I'm not feeling good. But I just told him that because I didn't want him to work on my tooth no more! I don't have anxiety and I don't ever take medications. So I don't appreciate him telling me that I have anxiety and if I took my meds for it!!!! I've never had a bad experience in this office before. Which it has been years I haven't got any treatment here. Other than getting my deep cleaning, that lady is so nice. so Dr. Abe was very rude! Brought my children to this dental office because of previous work I had done myself. My daughter had a horrible experience with the specialist! The specialist bed side manor was non exciting! Not only was she rude to the children but to the Dental assistance she had assisting her. Very condescending unprofessional mannerism. My 6year old daughter had a reaction to the oxygen placed on her and the specialist reaction was slow when my daughter processed to throw up until I physically stepped in to turn my daughter on her side to help eliminate the vomit from her mouth due to the fact she was lying on her back. My daughter started to exhibit a rash on mouth which basic knowledge as a human being of a reaction to things being used during procedure. Specialist lack of empathy towards the patient and myself was beyond me. I will be filling a grievance report on dental office! So disgusted and disappointed this actually happened! read more

This dentist has a new "kids specialist" but is the worse I ever know, I don't recommend go to this dental clinic or at least with the new specialist, she think kids are animals and that's the way she treats them, for your own good don't go there read more

I got my braces done here & I don't recommend. I came out more insecure about my smile (after months of braces), than I was regularly. I had beautiful teeth to begin with and this place just treated me horribly and gave me an ugly smile. One tooth is shaved off more and my smile is lop sided. They don't ask if you want your teeth shaved down they just do it! And they don't do a good job at it either. Teeth are forever, I can't believe they ruined mine read more
