Possibly the best dental experience I've had in decades, and I wasn't unhappy with my old dentist. Covid protocols are 100% here. They take your temperature and make you fill out a questionnaire about exposure and travel. Staff is wearing extreme PPE, which I respect. I just moved here and needed a new dentist in my insurance network. So far I have had cleaning, x-rays, and a filling done, and I am completely satisfied. The staff is horrible and cancelled an appointment without notifying us. A staff member contacted me the day before my twin daughters' appointments to request updated dental insurance information as my employer's insurance had changed. They requested that I email the updated insurance information which I did. The following morning my daughters showed up for their scheduled appointment and were told their appointment had been cancelled because Blu Oasis didn't have their insurance information. The staff member told my daughters that a voicemail message had been left advising of this. This was a complete lie. No voicemail message had been left and Blu Oasis had received the insurance information via email. I called to ask why they cancelled the appointment and they couldn't bother to answer the phone or return my voicemail message. I scheduled with another dental practice in La Quinta and would suggest you do the same. Blu Oasis is rude, unprofessional, doesn't tell the truth and has no consideration for their patients' time. All they had to do was ask my daughters for their insurance cards when they arrived but they turned them away and lied about notifying about the appointment cancellation. Stay clear of this place!! It really goes deeper than that though years ago my young son hurt his gum while my son was a patient I walked in because we were in the neighborhood and asked the dentist if he could have a look and he said not without a appointment. Dr Sourial is fantastic! After experience with several other La Quinta and Palm Desert dentists this has been a refreshing change. The staff is attentive, and makes it clear that customer service is valued. So far all of the work I have had done has been performed personally by Dr. Sourial. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. One thing that I really appreciated was the complete lack of "up-selling". A visit to the dentist should not be similar to a visit to a used car lot... "I can move you into the next model up if we can make a deal today" - No thank you. No pitching has been encountered so far! The equipment is up to date technology (an item where some local dentists fall short) - facilities are spotless as well. So so very grateful for the spa like atmosphere at Blu Oasis Dental! We recently had to switch dentists due to insurance, and I was so nervous because my kids had only been to their pediatric dentist for years. But my kids love Blu Oasis also, which is such a relief. The entire office is so pleasurable and relaxing to visit from the moment you walk in, from the relaxing spa music, and the essential oils all over the office and beautiful videos going of relaxing beach scenery while you get worked on in the chair is icing on the cake, it all makes getting dental work so much easier. This dental office is located in a bustling market place perfect for getting several items done in one location. Plenty of parking spaces and easy entry and exit. They are conveniently located a shop or two over from a Starbucks, so that's a huge plus if you're going for a quick checkup or plan to be there a while waiting on someone i.e. your children or significant other. Upon entering, they aimed to have you relaxed throughout your visit here via the decor, music and lighting. The staff is very courteous and helps you get checked in and updated with ease. Every room has a peaceful image displayed on their monitor to lower stress levels. Dr. Sourial and his staff get you knocked out relatively quickly and accurately with your dental work. He provides full on explanations of what he is seeing and what you could use in the future for upkeep. He can even provide a printout recommendation sheet to take home for needed and recommended work with price listings. My visits here have all been professional and relaxing if you can use that word for a dental office! Also, this office supports military appointments from LHI which is awesome in my opinion. First of all I had driven by this Dental Office a few times, so I decided to call for a cleaning appointment, which I was granted a few days later. A nice modern updated office, but it really has no relevance to the service performed. The lady at the reception was super nice, she is not in question here. First of all I needed X-Rays, which was expected, but after that I expected to get my cleaning, which I was told that I need another appointment. Wow that was a first! So I returned for my dental cleaning appointment and found out that the Dentist himself Nashaad S. was performing this himself, well I had never been to a Dental Office where the Dr. performs the cleaning, that was weird. But what was even more off the scale was his attitude and the 7 - Minute Cleaning I received. I do have insurance... I don't like going to dentists. I was traumatized as a kid by years of dentistry by a man who later had his license taken away. There was another dentist as an adult that hurt so bad I snuck out of the office between shots. Between that and 5 years of braces, I have bad memories. But after moving to the desert and breaking a tooth, I needed to find a new dentist. Now I must admit that Blue Oasis is the best, cleanest, nicest dental office I have ever been to. It's like walking into a spa. I've had veneers, cavities filled, an extraction, deep cleaning, x-rays, etc. The staff, including Valerie, Moses and Alicia are super nice. There's more but I can't remember their names, sorry. And Dr. Nash Sourial is excellent despite having to deal with a scared middled aged old man. They are very professional and kind. And they keep to their appointment times. I've been there for Denti-Cal and non Denti-Cal reasons. So yes, I would recommend the Blue Oasis. read more

I had called and asked for an emergency extraction and they said they performed this procedure there. I was there and received x ray after X-ray I was like are you sure this emergency I don't need all these x-rays. I heard the dr talking to another for 40 min in extensive treatment plan. I knew in that moment there was no emergency dental that they were going try to give me a treatment and charge my insurance for an unneeded appt. When the dr comes she checks all my teethe and tells me the extraction is in a hard place and she can't help. That after I explained to her there no way I am getting a root canal. Then she said you needed to see me anyway to get a referral to an oral surgeon and I said can I get a referral she said western dental will have to start over. Then as I am leaving and wasted two hours she tells she can do a deep cleaning. I looked and I said I am not from here and my insurance is not here and I needed emergency dental service and listed as emergency dental and I called your front desk. I understand that to stay open you can only have emergency dental services during covid but don't try to give treatment plans to people who actually are having an emergency and don't lie to me to bill my insurance and upsell me. I was able to get an appt easily. They were a very professional staff, yet fun. Their paperwork was brief, obviously they needed to know my history. I had my x-rays and met the Dr. He was very nice and gentle. He told me a filling I recd as a child (43 years prior) had fallen out. I had wondered why that spot felt a little rough. Who knew! He filled it right away and did not even have to numb the tooth. That impressed me! He could have easily done that and charged me or the insurance company but chose the smarter route. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. I have had some general dental work including a deep cleaning done by Dr. Sourial and I think he did a good job. The only reason that I don't give a five star rating is their practice of having you pay before you have any work done. I have never been to any doctor or dentist that ever did that before. Plus the fact that they apply an antibiotic ($58.00) on your teeth/gums that they somehow forget to tell you isn't covered by your dental insurance. I personally think it's a way to make additional money. Since they insist that you pay them in advance, you have no leverage beyond going someplace else. I liked this dentist. For one, they accept Medi-Cal (Denti-Cal) and their office is very clean, new, nice and they had high tech equipment. They are running a special now for cash patients $99 for X-rays and a cleaning. They were able to get me in within 2 days and were able to do the X-rays and cleaning the same day. They even filled my cavity, the same day. I'm mostly happy that they saved me $900 from Bright Now Dental who said I needed a "deep cleaning" for $900 and they refused to fill my cavity until I paid the $900 for the cleaning. So I came here to get a second opinion before I just randomly toss $900. I have never needed a "deep cleaning" in my life. The dentist, Nash Souriel DDS said I didn't need a deep cleaning, just a regular cleaning. Hallelujah, just saved me $900. read more

Best dentist office ever I really think it's is professional and fast I recommend it for any one

"What a pleasant time at the dentist!" - said no one ever. However, my new dentist office comes as close as possible to being an enjoyable experience. I have had two appointments so far, x-rays/cleaning and one filling (boo!), so I think I have a good idea about the staff and dentist himself - Dr. Sourial. Reception is very welcoming, inviting, clean, professional and prompt. The front desk staff seem to be on top of everything. Cleaning/X-rays took a while, but that's my fault for neglecting the chompers for a little too long. X-rays were performed by the tech and were very thorough. Sometimes these can be uncomfortable, but she was very careful and efficient. Cleaning was performed by the tech and Dr. Sourial. Very happy with the result of this. Then, Dr. Sourial reviewed the x-rays (and up-close photos taken of trouble spots) and we set up time for fillings. My filling was supposedly a big one (borderline root canal) and in the top rear of my mouth. I tell you this because it is probably the most difficult location to work on. But, once again Dr. Sourial and his tech were very efficient, thorough and did not leave me in any discomfort. The kicker is that I was in and out of the door in 30 MINUTES!! Yep, 30 minutes door to door. One other note, they use a numbing agent that doesn't make you look or feel like a chipmunk. I wasn't even sure that it was working, but I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, so that was nice to not have to deal with the awkward face the rest of the day. Overall, just about as pleasant a time as one can have at a dentist's office!! read more

I walk in and the office looks amazing!! So welcoming. The front desk ladies are wonderful to my three kids! Two of my kids get their teeth cleaned with no problems. My third child is a little more dramatic when it comes to her teeth but the dental assistant is so patient with her and gets her to let him clean her teeth without any crying! I was AMAZED!
