    Kid's cheeseburger and fries

The best guacamole I've had in years. So good! Fish tacos were also excellent! Server was attentive and efficient. Restaurant is clean. I would happily come back. Very good! The initial salsa was interesting, but not bad. My daughter's cheeseburger was what I expected in a Mexican restaurant. They even had good quality bun for it. My husband enjoyed his enchiladas. The horchata had a different flavor, I'm not sure what else was added, but I should have read the menu before ordering it because 32oz was a lot and it has a soda type taste. Overall, very happy about our dinner.

Large portions - enchiladas supremas has five - one of each kind (bean, cheese, beef, chicken and shredded beef) and the carnitas were great. Shrimp in the quesadilla was slightly overcooked and the horchata (32 oz in cold mug!) was a bit sweet for me (prefer more balance with cinnamon). Still not enough to ding a star. Maybe quieter and more attention from staff vs. the competition down the street.

Ordered both grilled octopus dishes and shrimp quesadilla and all were delicious. Portions were large the 3 of us could have easily been full with 2 entrees. The margarita was also good! Would eat here again....maybe tomorrow.....:)

I'm on the fence between 3* and 4* here. Anyhow, it's white people taco night food. Steak fajitas were fine--steak was underseasoned and a bit chewy, but peppers, guac, and pico were relatively fresh. Tortillas were soft, rice and beans were lukewarm and nothing special. Food came out extremely fast, and I appreciated the big portions after a long day of hiking. Deep fried ice cream wasn't my favorite but maybe it's just not my thing.

There was a covered portion, but we stayed in the sun to stay warm in the cool spring air. The server sat us immediately and brought us complimentary fresh chips and salsa. We were starving, so we gobbled them up while flipping through the extensive menu. The servers brought us extra chips and salsa while we waited for our food and drinks. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two steak tacos off the à la carte lunch menu (until 3pm daily). There was a $0.99 upcharge each for grilled vs shredded chicken and carne asada vs ground beef, and it was totally worth it. My daughter ordered two grilled chicken quesadillas as well. And our friends ordered beef nachos and a fajita platter. All of it was delicious, with large portions. I had a couple of house margaritas, which were tasty and a steal at just $5.50 each. My only complaints were that the queso dip was rather small and not worth the $5, and (like most places) they charge way too much for a soda ($3.25). The service was excellent. Our server Juan was friendly and very attentive, and several others checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure we were taken care. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cave City, Hidden River Cave, or Kentucky Down Under.
