They provided a small coffee cup of the red sauce and a ziplock bag full of their cabbage and carrots (kinda looks like Cole slaw). As soon as I arrived home, my family and I devoured them. I had to brush quite a bit off because paired with the birria it was a salt bomb. Also I love cheese but I wasn't feeling the cheese on this one. It didn't have much flavor so it felt like it was there for the sake of it, I took it off. Now the tostada tasted good after my alterations but it shouldn't be better after removing ingredients. We enjoyed a tasting of several dishes, including tableside guacamole with chips and salsa, tortilla soup, handmade corn tortillas topped with different proteins, pibil (slow-roasted pork), a ceviche-style dish with shrimp and scallops, chicken mole, and sautéed shrimp with sweet potato. Every dish had its own unique flavor, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. My favorite of the night was definitely the handmade corn tortillas with the different proteins; they were so yummy!
