I stopped in for a whole chicken dinner with 2 Pepsi cans and when I opened up my order they did NOT include the 2 sodas I paid for. Tried calling the store several times and absolutely no answer....

0 stars. I paid $6 per arrachera taco and received a lot of fat trimmings. Paying too much for NOT an arrachera taco. Avoid, their prices are too high for no taste or quality.

Did not like it. The tacos are small and the taste was weird on some of the tacos. Plus the arrachera was hard.

I've been driving by here almost daily for 3 years, but finally stopped in. Best burrito in the area as far as I'm concerned. I'll be back!

FUNDIDO FOR YOU & ME…read more Melty cheese is always a hit, and Burritos Mi Tierra does it better than most. In picking our date nights, my wife and I alternate between trying new places and revisiting a dozen or so "greatest hits". If we find ourselves in the mood for tried-and-true margaritas, we'll come to this family-owned restaurant in Romeoville about a mile south of I-55 on Weber Rd. Their house chips & salsa are awesome--the green salsa is milder while the red salsa is hotter. You can get a large margarita frozen or on-the-rocks ($15), but expect them to be strong either way. My wife enjoys their Michelada ($9), a drink similar to a bloody mary that's made with beer instead of vodka. We always get the queso fundido con chorizo ($10.75), a marvelously greasy appetizer that comes with corn or flour tortillas. Sometimes our tummies are fine afterwards, sometimes the grease goes through us like an angry lightning bolt. It's so good I'll happily suffer the consequences the next day, IDGAF. Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 4.5 Tacos al pastor ($3.50/ea) get a thumbs-up, however the tampiqueña ($22) was a little disappointing. I know skirt steak is generally a tougher cut, but this was greyer and chewier than what I've gotten at other places. It was served with an enchilada, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato. The best thing on the menu is unquestionably the burrito suizas ($11), a gigantic 1-1/2lb burrito filled with meat, beans, veggies and sour cream with melted cheese on top. It's as tasty as it is massive and will feed a hungry person for two meals! Their vanilla flan ($4.50) is pretty good, too. * TL;DR * Burritos Mi Tierra is one of our favorite Mexican spots in the area, and the unexpected closure of Naperville's On the Border (R.I.P) means we'll probably come back here more often. Service has been consistent, the décor is cute, and their margaritas are some of the best around. Queso fundido and burrito suizas are standout dishes, authentic and fairly-priced. We hope these guys remain in business for a long time! Muy recomendable.

I usually get the taco plate, skip the beans and get extra rice. I would love if the platters came with chips, even just a few would be a nice touch. The elote is quite delicious, as well. I did notice that on my most recent trip it appeared the portion size was quite a bit smaller for everything I ordered. They amount of rice was pretty sad considering it was supposed to be double, my parents mentioned the burritos were noticeably smaller and the elote cup size changed, as well. I know food costs are at a high right now, but they already raised their prices so it was a bit frustrating to see them lower the quantity of food, too. Nonetheless, I'll still get my late night tacos here, but no longer consider this cheap. Love that this spot is open late night. They're also adding a stoplight by the intersection it's located so it will be even easier to access once that's complete.

I was very excited when I saw…read morevegan protein option for tacos and I think the food was OK, but the whole experience of eating at this location was such a bummer. Someone must have taken a big dump in the restroom that made the whole place smell like poop. The music was so loud that I had to move tables to find a spot where my ears could bear the volume. While ordering the food, the person at the counter had no clue about the menu and couldn't answer any questions, also didn't care to check with another person working. Now coming to the food, I really liked the rice and beans. The tacos were OK but I was disappointed by the 2 salsa options. They tasted good while I was sampling them but didn't do anything when I added it to the tacos, so I had to over drench my tacos in the salsa. My stomach felt the heat, but my tongue didn't. My husband got a chicken bowl and said there was a funky smell that led him to speculate that there is a possibility of cross contamination of food in the kitchen. Over all, poor experience but I will try the same vegan tacos at a different location. My excitement of finding vegan tacos so close to my house has been dampened for sure.
