Tried Happy Bites on Route 53 for the first time, and I'm happy to say it did not disappoint! We started with the zucchini sticks and jalapeño cheddar bites--both were beautifully crispy and really well done. We also tried the cauliflower wings in both Buffalo Garlic and Honey BBQ, and they were quite good with great flavor. The Buffalo Parmesan fries had delicious flavor, though they would have been even better a bit crispier. I really appreciate that they offer several vegan options. If you like Beyond burgers, you'll have plenty to choose from here. Between the soups, salads, wings, and gourmet burgers, there's truly something for everyone. Recently ordered takeout from this location in Romeoville. The inside seems spacious and they had a large TV playing a kids movie. Their menu seems quite extensive, so I'm interested to try other items. I ordered the Happy Jalapeño burger, cheese curds, Garlic Parmesan fries, Mac n cheese bites, Italian beef egg rolls, and my husband had the Pickler burger. We like to order big when trying a new place! My favorite thing was the garlic parm fries - absolutely delicious! The burger was quite tasty as well. Definitely seemed like real beef (when compared to other cheap fast food joints). I liked the Italian Beef egg rolls: they were crunchy and much more like a traditional Chinese egg roll than I expected. A little spicy with the giardianiera. The Mac n cheese bites were meh and the cheese curds weren't all that great either. They both might have been tastier if they were still hot by the time I got them home. I have never had anything bad from Happy Bites. I originally went to the Tinley Park location, but my job moved me to the Romeoville area. Burgers are great at both. I had an excellent chicken sandwich today and love their fries. The only negative is the meal pricing. The addition of fries is great, but the drink size is the smallest anywhere. Match the Size to any other fast food drink, and everything would be perfect. read more

This is the 3rd time giving it a try. The male owner or staff member is NEVER pleasant, don't greet the customers. To make matters worse, I have always left a tip, on a Togo. Today was horrible, the burger special was small patty, and the bun was too big. The thermostat was on hell.. this is my last time. We had to wait on our food an extremely long time. I requested a 10pc Hot original wing basket with an additional 6pc Honey Hot. The basket options are thin with two counts available so I had improvised with the cashier to receive the desired arrangement. I tried the wings, burger and fries. Wings were your standard fried, bone in wings. I got bbq and teriyaki sauce. They were good but nothing especially great about them. Now, the nectar of the gods burger was absolutely delicious. Hands down a MUST TRY BURGER. Flavor was amazing, patty was perfectly cooked. JUCY AND DELICIOUS! I will go back and try more of the food and keep up with the posts. The lady that took my order was very kind, polite and helpful with the recommendations. This place has a nice place to eat inside. The first time I got this it was uber eats and it was bad but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Once I went in person it was much better. Came in for Friday lunch to check this place out for the first time. New building, new location right off 53. The food was great: made fresh. Fries were phenomenal. But its a lot of food so be prepared to take some home! Huge menu, plenty of options to try. Daily specials with good deals. Since its brand new, the restaurant itself is still being set up. There's a place for video gaming but no machines yet. They were playing music pretty loud at first but eventually turned it down so we could all hear each other. Sparsely decorated (balloons on the tables) with a very hard marble-looking floor. Looked and felt cold and sterile. But once they get the kinks worked out, this will be a great place to grab a quick bite! read more

The food and service have been really good and consistent. I've had a few different things there all have been enjoyable except the wings. The buffalo sauce was ehh, the quality of wing was very avg. like they carry boneless wings just to have them in the menu. I'm sure there's something better. I live less than a mile away and by the time I got home they were already kinda soft not soggy. Idk they were just very avg and I don't think I'd go back for them on one of their daily specials which is when I tried them the 1st time. Maybe they put less love in them because they were on special I'm not sure. But burgers are really good and the chicken sandwich was pretty good too no complaints.
