Burger

Burgers and fries are by far my favorite comfort foods, so I am always looking for new places to try. And boy am I glad I tried this one! The burger was amazing, a solid choice for a typical burger. It was all I needed today. Nice amount of seasoning in the meat, and the aioli was perfect with it. Fries were good and well seasoned. Really enjoyed my meal!

Teriyaki wings

I tried the wings, burger and fries. Wings were your standard fried, bone in wings. I got bbq and teriyaki sauce. They were good but nothing especially great about them. Now, the nectar of the gods burger was absolutely delicious. Hands down a MUST TRY BURGER. Flavor was amazing, patty was perfectly cooked. JUCY AND DELICIOUS! I will go back and try more of the food and keep up with the posts. The lady that took my order was very kind, polite and helpful with the recommendations. She was a breath of fresh air compared to the way people are these days. The atmosphere was your standard burger place with a few a slot machines.

Came in for Friday lunch to check this place out for the first time. New building, new location right off 53. The food was great: made fresh. Fries were phenomenal. But its a lot of food so be prepared to take some home! Huge menu, plenty of options to try. Daily specials with good deals. Since its brand new, the restaurant itself is still being set up. There's a place for video gaming but no machines yet. They were playing music pretty loud at first but eventually turned it down so we could all hear each other. Sparsely decorated (balloons on the tables) with a very hard marble-looking floor. Looked and felt cold and sterile. But once they get the kinks worked out, this will be a great place to grab a quick bite!

The food is good. They W working on the service. However, check your bill vs the cost on the menu. Register has higher prices than the menu.

YOU CAN TUNA POKE (BUT YOU CAN'T TUNA PIANO)…read more The fishy hits just keep on coming at Poke Bros. On nights when my wife and I want something fresh and flavorful but aren't feeling sushi per se, we'll grab a poke bowl.  This location is the fourth one we've ordered pickup from, and though it's fine overall, Romeoville isn't the best of the bunch. Unless you opt for chicken ($11.25), bowls start at $12.75 for salmon/tuna/shrimp/squid salad and you can choose between regular or spicy proteins.  Of note is that Romeoville's prices are $0.75 MORE than any other location in the Chicago suburbs.  I have zero idea as to why. There's lots of ingredients & toppings to pick from (although not as many as Poke Burrito....just saying), including carrots, corn, cucumber, edamame, ginger, green onion, jalapeno, pineapple and tofu.  Avocado, seaweed salad, crab stick, and masago are a $1 upcharge. I'm bummed they wiped miso soup from the menu.  We would always get that along with our poke bowl, and suddenly it vanished without warning.  Poke Burrito, on the other hand, still has miso on the menu, along with ramen, gyoza, bulgogi, spring rolls, and bubble tea. Poke Bros' assortment of mochi (ice cream wrapped in rice dough) is substantial.  Each location has slightly different offerings, with most sharing at least 5-6 flavors.  You can get 2 for $4 or 3 for $5.50; I recommend espresso, toasted coconut, salted caramel, passion fruit, and cake batter. FYI, the Poke Bros mobile app is utterly useless--it does nothing, has no rewards system or any incentive to use it, really.  It exists merely to take up space on your phone.  If you have an internet connection, just order from their damn website. * TL;DR * I'm surprised the Romeoville Poke Bros charges higher prices than any others in the area (that seems distinctly Napervillian). So is an extra 75¢ the end of the world?  Heck no.  Does it bother me enough to go back to the Poke Bros on Route 59?  Perhaps, but what bothers me more is that miso soup is no longer available, not to mention the competition has better ingredients & sides to pick from. Poke Bros has tasty customizable rice bowls, a great variety of mochi, and a worthless app.

I ordered from Poke Bros from DoorDash. The service was great and the bowl was perfectly made! I…read morewould order from this business again. It is a great meal for something light for dinner.

We were excited to try Urban Kitchen, and it absolutely delivered…read more Right away, the decor stood out, unique without being over the top, warm, and inviting. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive without hovering. We started with drinks: blueberry mojitos and sangria. Both were fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and it was clear they were made with real care and attention, not just poured and sent out. For appetizers, we ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa. We weren't expecting the chips to come out hot and clearly fresh from the fryer, but wow, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of salt. The guacamole tasted fresh and clean, and the salsa had a great balance of heat and flavor without overpowering anything. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were outstanding. The meat was incredibly well seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell when food is prepared by someone who truly cares about what they're making, those kinds of flavors can't be faked. The Cobb salad was equally impressive: fresh ingredients, a perfect portion size, moist chicken, and a dressing that tied everything together beautifully. One of the nicest surprises was learning that Urban Kitchen supports the community through Meals on Wheels. It's always great to enjoy a meal knowing the restaurant gives back. The only downside? We live six hours away. That said, we will absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

Plenty of items to choose from and being that we'd never been here before we were asking for the employees opinions on what they liked most. Jasmine was the individual who was most friendly and building our bowls. WOW. The flavors of everything (except the Black Lentils - not a fan). Everything looked so appealing. Our bowls were large and filled. I bet two people could share one bowl (but we didn't). We also got drinks. I grabbed the Tangerine Aleppo and he got the Lemonade. I didn't mind mine, but he didn't care for his. The ice machine didn't work either. I only got a few pieces. We dined in and there is plenty of seating for dining in or on the patio. The meal was delicious and the staff was nice. This place is a hot spot and was steady with customers the whole time we were there. I was given the incorrect receipt so I cannot confirm what they would have called our meals or if we were charged correctly. Even after being asked if we wanted it right after paying. Doesn't make sense. Both of our bowls had chicken.
