Overall, clean and friendly service. Menu just needs some work. Bowl was fresh and good except the rice. Rice was like sushi rice, really weird, sticky and flavorless. The Creamy chicken Enchiladas were the worst thing we ordered. Super dry, chicken was basically just boiled chicken with no seasoning. Tortillas were dry, sauce was solid and not creamy at all. We asked for a kids easy cheese and tortillas quesadilla (since they have meat and side versions on the menu) and they still charged us $13 for cheese and tortilla. If time limited do not eat here Took train here from Durango and stop in here to eat, it took all of our allotted time waiting get our food so missed out on seeing Silverton before having to catch train back. Not sure how the food tastes as we have been 1.5 hours without food. read more

It was disappointing, they actually use instant rice (at least when I ate there). The enchiladas were edible. 3 tacos for $17.00 is outrageously overpriced, no beans and rice, just 3 street tacos. The server came by occasionally, usually looking the other way when he passed the table. read more

Delicious! We pastor pork Was tasty and we liked it a little more than the carne asada. Homemade/handmade everything, but especially the fresh corn tortillas for the tacos - I guess I'm gonna have to say delicious again. Their tacos were as good as the ones I had in Mexico. I was a little worried about the burger since there weren't any photos... and it's a Mexican restaurant, but the patty was freshly made and DELICIOUS! I only wish I had taken a photo BEFORE we finished eating it. D'oh! Can't say enough about this place... oh and their service was super fast. read more

We tried this restaurant twice on vacation. Being from Texas we rarely eat Mexican food out of state. This was an awesome find. The food and drinks are fresh and very tasty. We had the burrito bowls, shrimp tacos and fajitas, and pastor. It was all as good or better than home. read more

I realize they are new but their problems should not have been mine. Got off the train and went right there to check it out. It took 45 min to get food. Seriously! Had to order chips and salsa??? Seriously! Almost all Mexican food restaurants just provide them for free. Not here. Ordered Street Tacos (chicken, but no rice and beans) and they were good but by the time I got them had to leave because I was out of time to see other parts of Silverton. I had to literally go to the kitchen to get forks and napkins. Another waitress who brought them told me that typically people who order street tacos eat with their hands. Seriously! I would have fired her for opening her mouth at all. Worst part - I spoke with the Manager/Owner and he apologized and said he was taking 30% off. IT NEVER HAPPENED! Do not tell me that you will do something and then do not! Waiter Eddie was working so hard but got no solid help. Eddie, go work somewhere else. I gave him a 20% tip. I'm a Karen when it comes to my food. I won't deny it. I won't leave a bad comment or be rude but internally I feel it lol. But we were in town for 4th of July weekend. A super busy weekend may I add, and the service was excellent. They were short staffed but you couldn't tell. They went above and beyond many times (my child changed his mind on the order) and they were super friendly about it. The food was excellent Tex Mex. We had nachos and sincronizada (called a burrito everywhere else) as we call it in South Texas. Drinks were amazing. I Was not expecting this in Silverton. My family and I took a tour on a narrow gauge railway that terminated in Silverton. For lunch we received a recommendation for El Bandito and I am extremely glad we did.
