If you're new to the game or are too self conscious to visit a more serious setting, fairway zone…read moreis the perfect place to start. This is more of a sports bar setting with TV's everywhere so you don't have to worry about judgmental staff or uptight players. Chances are everyone is too busy watching "the game" to notice your crappy swing. The sim, although tricky and hard to read if you've only played real courses, is accurate and offers a ton of feedback. Gameplay supports up to 4 players unless you set up the golf range setting, then it's basically open season. Only 2 bays available by reservation so plan accordingly. There are some loner clubs if you don't have your own otherwise bringing your set is recommended. We had a bunch of appetizers that were all excellent. We came on a slow night too so no issues with drinks/food orders but I can see that being an issue when it gets lively(then again what restaurant doesn't have this issue when busy?). To my understanding this place just went through a menu/renovation refresh so look to the newest pictures for the most up to date info.

The ambiance and décor are nice -- and that's about where the positives end. When we sat down and…read moreopened the menu, several items were crossed out or scribbled over, so the food options I had seen on Yelp were no longer available. We had two different servers come to our table who didn't seem to be communicating with each other. As a result, we never received an order of sliders, yet they still appeared on our bill. The bartender also struggled with very basic cocktails. A simple cosmopolitan and a lemon drop -- both extremely common drinks -- seemed to cause confusion, which was surprising. As for the food, it was nothing memorable. One friend ordered a smash burger that was so smashed it included the bun, which I've never seen before. The wings I ordered were small and underwhelming -- five wings for $15 felt overpriced and disappointing. Overall, I don't understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp. I left pretty disappointed. The only thing that seems to keep people coming back is the scantily clad servers rather than the food or service.

One of my favorite places to go downtown! I love them because:…read more 1/ They have super creative drinks that change themes for special occasions like Halloween or Christmas and a ton of super fun arcade games. 2/ The food is solid with delicious wings, pizza, ramen (I know! But it's good) and more 3/ It's an arcade with a ton of games that are always a blast. I think there's a weeknight where all the games are free which is always nice. 4/ Decor is also on point and their menus are always so creative. Always a good time!

I totally forgot the names, but the one I ordered had mint in it and was definitely strong! As someone who doesn't drink very often, it definitely hit me pretty quickly, but it was really good and not overly sweet. My friend ordered the drink with the flower garnish, which was a piña colada. It was sweet, refreshing, and super enjoyable. The ambiance was such a vibe, and the staff were amazing. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and consistently checked on us while we were at the bar. Even after we sat down, I noticed several employees walking around collecting empty glasses and keeping everything tidy, which is something you don't see everywhere and really stood out to me. Overall, it was a great experience with chill bar vibes, great drinks, and excellent service. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm looking for a fun and relaxed night out.

Alter Ego and Still OG might just be the most cleverly conceived bar concept in the city. Small and…read moreintimate, yes -- but every inch of it is intentional. Let's start with the drinks. The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. Whether you're there for a chill night out or a proper evening, this place delivers both without making you choose.

Vibe: A Had to make…read morea quick pit stop before a show that night and wandered into OG. Haven't been to this location in a minute. Can still remember the gourmet dogs and duck fat fries back in the days... Awesome what they did to the place. The new set up with the dim lights and neon menu is noice. Ended up chilling at the front bar. Definitely will return to explore the back at a later time. Food: A We got to sample a variety of goodies and drinks from the menu, which definitely hit the spot. The skewers were cooked just right with a kiss of smoke from the grill. The takoyaki were good as expected--yum. We ended the excursion with the milk bread; it was surely a crowd-pleaser. It was fluffy goodness, topped with furikake, and served with a side of decadent house butter. Drinks were perfectly crafted and refreshing. Service: A We were chilling at the bar and got to hang with staff. Cool folks, will be back. - John
