Though their typical clientele may be the die hard sports fan, they accommodated our crew of kids quite nicely! They had a huge variety of appetizers for sharing and lots of entree options! What surprised me the most was their crisp salads! I think the Rookies Caesar salad is among my most favorite of salads. I will say it's outrageous to charge that much for a side of fries. Even when costs are up. I ended up ordering their Rookies Housemade Burger w/o cheese and tomato. I guess I could have had cheese. Tomato doesn't belong in anything but salsa and ketchup. Honestly, the burger wasn't bad. However, I was disappointed with the soggy fries. I would be upset if I paid $9.00 for soggy fries. I did notice that more people were drinking beer here than ordering a cocktail or food. Overall, I wasn't super impressed, but I will try this place again. I'll likely order something else. Overall, the speed of the service was mixed, but my bartender was extremely friendly. I felt comfortable there. My burger was fairly good, but unfortunately the fries were soggy. There's no excuse for soggy fries. If you find yourself near the Rookies Sports Lodge, it's a comfortable environment, but don't expect the best food. Maybe just order a beer.

A few customers were present on a Saturday afternoon, and the bartender was very friendly and social. I mentioned to her that I would be coming back with a handful of people in a few weeks, and she said she would be working. Not only that, they were openly laughing, mocking, and disrespecting Arsenal fans when we conceded goals. That's completely unacceptable for a supporters club. I've been to Sacramento Gooners and other Arsenal clubs, and none of them tolerate this kind of behavior. There's a clear difference in standards. I've followed the Silicon Valley Gooners owner and I know they claim to love Arsenal and football. But honestly, this feels more like a business focused on profit than a community built on passion. Very disappointing.
