They have their rates posted, and it's good to play 1-2 hours. They pro-rate the time if you're under or over the hour. Came to this spot jot too long ago. I actually thought it was closed down until I was invited this month. Surprised to see that it's up and going. It's clean inside, tables and cue sticks even chalks are well maintained. Carpet and tables are clean. Lighting is even great. Not too dark. And the people are there to play. Decent crowd. 01-02-2026 We came here for the first time to celebrate. They staff was very friendly. The billiards was clean and well lite. The restrooms are well maintained. Could use new carpeting or an annual carpet cleaning. The prices for playing pool are clearly displayed at the entrance. The house rules are also clearly displayed. No one was smoking inside so that's a big plus. Someone was outside near the door smoking and every time someone opened the door some cigarette or weed smell came in and lingered. I saw customers had food (Nachos & Hot Dogs). There are small wall tables and stools near each table. There are also plenty of trash cans at every table. I did not see any prices for food or drink. I especially did not see the prices for can or bottled beer. To my surprise after ordering 6 bottles, I asked the manager during my next order. I was shocked and figured oh well this will only happen once, beer is $8.00 ea. I spent $72.00 for beer alone. 2 Hours of pool time. The juke box is also expensive. $ 0.50 per song. If you are going to only play pool, it's a very nice place to go. Plenty of tables and fellow customers are respectful to the shooter at the nearby tables. If you want food and drink get it from somewhere else due undisclosed high cost. I would come back to play pool. Pretty fun place to play pool, my main complaint is that the tables and the cues are well worn. I wish they could have some better equipment, but they've been around for a while, and it's not like there are immediate competitors in the near vicinity. The staff is super nice and friendly, and it's overall just a chill vibe. The drink menu is pretty standard and not too outrageous. The parking situation is awesome though, it's located in the corner of a huge plaza with plenty of parking spaces. It does get kind of dark at night if you are worried about that, but I don't think it's too bad at all and you can part just right next to the place. A great place to play pool! I've been to a few other billiards locations in the area and definitely enjoy Cuetopia the most. It is a large space with plenty of room for groups and a lot of parking available. They are open from 5pm-2am everyday. Cuetopia has at least 20 pool tables, arcade games, digital jukebox, snacks, beer, and sodas. Reasonably priced for all there is to enjoy there. If you're not a seasoned pool player, this is a good enough spot, other than that: They don't have regulation sized balls. You come here during summer or rainy days, it's damp and humid. You try to ask for a good table to practice on with tighter pockets, they won't give it to you unless you pay a $230 monthly membership. Even Cal Billiards and Jimmy's Billiards (or Edgie's Billiards pre-covid) who had better equipment and conditions wouldn't even charge that crazy of a price let alone exclude people from tables. Absolutely amazing experience at Cuetopia! The staff were very welcoming and the vibes were 100% up to par. The space is perfect for a small-medium group; there's plenty of tables in the showroom. The jukebox is digital (which was a nice touch) so you can control from your table. Drink menu was great, even got to try an IPA I haven't seen on the shelves! 9/10! This pool place is top-tier! Ever since I got into pool, this is hands down one of the best spots I've been to. I first checked it out a couple of months ago and the service blew me away. Everyone, from the customers to the employees, is super friendly. The prices are fair and they charge by the hour (don't hold me to that, though). My friends and I hit this place up every weekend and I have zero regrets about stumbling upon this hidden gem in San Jose. I haven't tried the food or drinks, but my buddies who've had the alcohol say it's decent. All in all, this place is a winner. It's a great spot to hang with friends and family, or just chill and play board games at the front tables. I don't really write reviews, but I feel the necessity to do so. The last few times I've visited Cuetopia customer service has been the worst. I've been going to Cuetopia since 2009 and since Ken and Terry left the place just isn't the same. Rose in particular is very unfriendly and in my opinion has made that place A lot more unenjoyable with the staff she has helping her as well. I left my number there to pass along to Ken because I would like to talk to him about my past few experiences. So hopefully he gets my number. Me and the gf played some darts but mostly sat, watched the boys and gossiped. I love that they sell chips, hot dogs, and beers. They did have air hockey which was cool. As hard as it is to find a billiards hall in Santa Clara County these days, I've only recently visited Cuetopia. They've been around for some time based on the exterior of the building. Inside, there are 25 tables to laid out in a room with nothing else eliciting any type of emotion. For $19/hr for two people to play, I neither found it overly expensive nor a good value. There were several cue sticks that weren't straight and the table we were playing on had some warping so we noticed some lateral run on struck balls along one of the rails. They're OPEN! What a great gem for a family friendly place. Joshua welcomed our 2 groups of teens and tweens and took care of us from "hello". Our younger ones didn't know how to play pool so Joshua even came over to help out the boys & show them how to set up in a cool way that made them feel comfortable. He set up our older teens in a nice separate room too! Great vibe here. Fun for all ages. Great management. So glad they are open. Strongly recommend this place for all ages. I took my kids and a few of their friends early in the afternoon during a rainy day & it was a hit. It would look a lot better if they would just change the carpet - seems kind of gross- to laminate flooring. But that's just me!!! Do you have tweens or teens to keep entertained? This is a destination for inexpensive fun, especially between the hours of Noon and 4pm, the price is half off! There are plenty of well-maintained pool tables, cues, balls and chalk. The restrooms and the rest of the establishment are clean. The clientele are just regular folks, not sketchy as I had imagined or I would have tried this place out long ago. After shooting some pool, the boys played foosball, four quarters per game, I think that's for ten balls. I didn't play, I suck something bad at foosball. However, I'll give it a go on the electronic dart game next time. Speaking of electronics, I was wondering why their music playlist was so eclectic. They use the AMI Music app, so you can have some control over the song selection. There's a snack/beverage area, comfy couches, stools, counter space, tv's throughout. I love the layout of Cuetopia! I appreciate the awesome front desk lady who seemed to be doing everything on her own. I asked her to turn on the hockey game, since basketball was on later; she's so nice and promptly changed the channel for me. Cuetopia is located off of Almaden Expressway & Branham Lane. This is a great pool hall with huge, well-kept tables. The staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are reasonably-priced. They charge you up to the minute, which is good because you don't overpay for any time you weren't playing. They have a Jukebox you can buy songs in. There are plenty of pool tables and parking spaces at this place. Many of you may not know that there's a billiard around the Almaden area because it's somewhat hidden. Keep your eye out for a McDonald's because that's where this place is close to. I almost witnessed a physical fight when I came here. This girl was pretty pissed when another girl turned the light off on her in the bathroom. There was some shouting going on and luckily the pissed girl was calmed down by her boy. Anyhow, I'm glad things didn't get out of hand. While you shoot some pool, you can order some drinks or food. They have a good variety of drinks. They have lots of tables here! There's a juke box for choosing music, and some of the oldest, smallest TVs I've seen in a long time. If they made some upgrades to this place (new, bigger TVs, late night happy hour, new carpeting/doors), then it'd be crackin'! I asked for a pitcher of beer and they said they'd bring it to my pool table. That's nice of them to offer that, but they never did that. This place is COOL, but could be COOL-ER if they had A/C! ha ha. Hence, the 4 stars instead of 5. Very laid back and chill environment. They have a lot of beers to choose from. I went with three of my friends. The total ended up a little over $30 for four people. That included two beers and a Snapple. Not bad at all! This place is great for all ages. I saw some younger groups to older people playing solo. Oh yeah, they also have darts, air hockey, and foosball! Yay! A pool place with no credit card minimum and only $6.50/hr for one player. They use Brunswick tables that play nicely and are taken care of. They have tables in the front and back. Looks like there's more room in the back. The arcade room is pretty cool with couches and all. Lots of fooseball too. And yes there's an actually cafe at front where you order food and sit down. Overall I think this is a nice place. 50% playing time charges during the weekdays from noon to 4pm. A nice deal I say especially if you like shooting pool like me. I've been here on two separate occasions, both times have been fun and pleasant! The first time I went, my friend had a bad day at work so we decided to find a random place to have a beer and play some pool to get his mind off of his terrible shift. The owner of the place is a young, chipper guy haha. Friendly guy. I'd like to say you pay by the hour or minute to play on the tables, but I wouldn't know because my friend paid on both occasions haha. They've got a variety of beers, great selection. They even have foosball tables. The first time we went, it was a bit of an older crowd. It was a Monday after midnight, I believe. The second time we went was on a Thursday night with a much, much younger crowd. Everyone becomes friendly and it turns into a great bar scene haha. You pay to play music on the juke box, updated music selection. The outside is a bit sketch. It's hidden in the back, in the dark. There are homeless and sketchy people outside.
