While I have a few regular Mexican restaurants I like to eat at, depending on what I have a taste for, El Burrito is hands down my top place for an authentic experience. When you come in for sit down or carry out, everyone is so incredibly nice. You always get quick service, either way - although allow for a little extra time on a Taco Tuesday OR Thursday! I really love these tacos! I have not tried tacos this good and I'm Mexican and been to multiple places in the city. These are almost better than the ones from Mexico! But the service from the gentleman in the cashier/carry out desk is awful, seriously he's not representing Mexican food atmosphere he's bitter and ugly attitude. I go there with coworkers or family and his attitude is a disappointment. I honesty go for the food not for him, later I learned his the owners brother. Which is pretty uncool since he's representing his family and his attitude is not enjoyable. read more

Been eating here for over 20 years but most recently on 5-24-2025 i got food poisoning! I was really looking foreward to my meal after working around the yard. Ordered a steak burrito with only meat beans and cheese. I wanted potato in it as well but apparently they don't have that. Ordering was quick and I was told 15 min. Arrived it was not busy at all. 1 star due to the taste of the food. First of all, they didn't put any beans on it. Then towards the bottom there was a bunch of grease. As soon as I smelled the burrito it had a funky smell, reminded me of the air fryer smell when you first purchase it - basically the whole thing was pretty much gross, couldn't even finish it - just threw it out. The price was $15.09 for a small (terrible) burrito and a small coke. I would not recommend and we will not be back. read more

I'm always on a quest to find a place that has a burrito that I will crave. Unfortunately this place didn't do it for me. I ordered a steak burrito. For me, there was not a lot of flavor in it and the portion is on the smaller side for the 11 dollar price. Service was on the slower side and restaurant is very small. Menu on walls have been through many price changes with stickers and are higher than most Mexican restaurants. One table/booth was completely full with dirty dishes and overall unappealing. Stopped here after we saw the Taco Tuesday sign here last week. Place is a family run place with nice decor, my oldest liked contrasting the Aztec versus Myan art on the walls. The three of us ordered a variety of steak and chicken tacos. Funny thing we still get offered "American Style" and it's funny to see the expression of the hostess why my boys crinkle up their nose and say "gosh no, onion and cilantro please!" The chicken was very flavorful, not just grilled hunks of chicken, it was a nice touch. The steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Came in for lunch, I ordered 2 steak tacos and 2 al pastor tacos. Steak tacos were ok and pastor tacos were of good flavor but a bit dry. Tacos came with a grilled jalapeño and onions which was a nice touch and tasted great. Guacamole was ok and chips were refried so a bit gritty. Prices are good for what you get and customer service here is awesome and for that would consider a revisit. Can't forget to mention Taco Tuesdays 1.50$ tacos definitely worth it. read more

Family of 8 and one of my children doesn't like the food they have. We met some friends there. I brought in food for my daughter. They immediately said they dont allow outside food. Always get the chicken tacos here, you can get it mexican style with cilantro, onions or american style with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I usually go for the american style or mexican style with cheese added. The tacos are wrapped in two tortillas and its pretty flavorable. If you dine in they give you chips and salsa with it, but I usually pick it up to go. The burritos here are really good too. Definitely recommend trying this establishment! read more

OH MY GOODNESS the food!!! ... are what keeps me coming back for more. Guys, I live a 1/2 hour away, but I keep coming back for the giant burritos. These burritos are bigger than my toddlers head. They are so savory and delicious. I always order the carne asada burrito. The steak is juicy and tender and PLENTIFUL, they do not skimp on the meat! The rice is flavorful mixed nicely with the beans, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. I crave these burritos and growing up, I didn't care for getting my fingers dirty for these suckers. These are that good! My husband gets Tortas and tacos from here and enjoys them. The kids get quesadillas, but they really love the rice. It is YUMMY! The horchata is the perfect drink for my meal. I've had much better salsa at other taquerias, but I appreciate the free chips during the short wait while we dine in. If you're looking for an amazing burrito, this is worth the trip. I used to love this place but every time I order from here I get home (20 minutes away) and it's incorrect. I paid for an extra side and it was not there. I don't have time to go back or feel like calling. I called last time and clearly they don't care to make orders correct. First, their red salsa is AMAZING. It's just so delicious, I'll drink it out of the cup in case I finish my burrito first (I asked and they do sell it as a standalone item, so that's nice). Otherwise, everything here is really tasty and the service is simple and fast. Their pricing is a bit outrageous for simple items, however; a full soft taco costs as much as a very small/thin cheese quesadilla. NOTE: I have one complaint that's not food related... the owners and/or employees of this place take up all the parking in front of their store with about 4-5 cars! That orange Ford Mustang is parked there permanently and if you're a customer, IT SUCKS. You have to park farther away and I've skipped coming here since Subway is nearby if I'm not feeling too picky (there's plenty of parking there). Disappointed. Wasn't a great experience. Rice was mediocre, beans were soupy, the steak torta I got was mediocre and lacked any real flavor and the bread was chewy. I order a lot of tortas and this one wasn't great. My bill had the normal tax but then there was some extra charge for 58 cents and I didn't order anything custom or additional. I didn't fight it or even ask about it since I assumed it must be one of those charges they don't tell you about due to some "Covid surcharges" restaurants charge ppl. I won't go back to places that add that to a bill without asking or telling me first. I think that's underhanded. Speaking of underhanded can you believe they charged he $3.50 for a bottle of Coke? What a joke! The most I paid for that in other Mexican establishments is $2.50. It's sad you rip off your customers with secret charges and $3.50 cokes... This place is great! It's family owned and they're so nice. I've only ever gotten the burritos and horchata, so that's all I'm going to rave about. With that being said I'm actually not a burrito fan, but there's something about the burritos here that I crave! I swear if I could I I'd eat a burrito a day. They've got burritos in three different so sizes - baby, regular, and giant. Their steak is so good and they fill it with beans, cheese, tomato, and lettuce. I think Dalibor Z. was more impressed with the burritos than I was, but he ordered the XL Chicken Burrito and opted for Suizo-style, which is where they take a slice of cheese and cook it on top of the burrito. I went with a Giant Chorizo Burrito and added Sour Cream and Avocado, no Lettuce. The amount of Avocado was perfect, but there didn't seem to be that much Sour Cream or the Cheese it comes with. We were served complimentary Chips & Salsa. The spice level left my lips tingling in a good way. The Chorizo Burrito had a nice zing to it, but it was super, super greasy. I expected it to be slightly greasy, but it quickly disolved the bottom of my Burrito and filled the plate with brown grease. I tried to hold it together with one napkin, then two, then three. It was no use. I finally stopped the grease flow with five napkins. I'll probably try the Steak Burrito next time. Pricing isn't bad for what you get. It was just under $20 for an XL Chicken Suizo Burrito, a Giant Chorizo Burrito with two additional toppings, a Mexican Coke and a Pineapple Jarritos, plus the Chips & Salsa. I only ate about half the Burrito, so I got leftovers out of it. read more
