Best quesadilla and tacos in L.E.S! I came here after visiting Hester St. fair because the smell from them cooking steak was so alluring. I ordered the steak taco and the mushroom quesadilla. The food taste so pure, clean, and organic. I absolutely loved the quesadilla and will definitely come back to get that again. It was a breezy fall morning, after we had a run on hester street market and found nothing interested us, we decided to stop by Les Crepes and tried their savory crepes, I had chili crepe, it was done perfectly, light and crispy outside wrapped w chili that was cooked to perfect, just right amount of beans, meats and flavor! who would've think crepe and chili could come out in such great mix! J had ham and cheese which he was very happy too. there's limited beverages available w two tiny tables by the side walk, the girl behind the counter who made our crepes was very friendly. This hole in the wall was a good stop for a quick dinner. The portions were good normal size and the food was quite tasty. There is a lot to order from the menu. I had the carnitas burrito, and while it wasn't what I'd consider a mission style burrito, it was definitely tasty. It's a simple little shop, and their limited seating is outdoors. It was perfect on a nicely warm fall day. I am one of those people who believes NYC lacks good mexican taqueria food, and this is not the place to change that impression. Worst burritos I've ever had in my life. Ordered a chicken burrito and it was not even warm. When I took a bite, it was salty and hard. I expected more from this place especially when I heard really good things about it. From a friend, I heard that the fish tacos were really good but I wasn't a fan of grilled fish so I didn't get that. This is not the first time i've ordered from this place, many great experience & taco have always tasted delicious and fresh until today! I ordered 3 steak tacos and one of chorizo and i have to say first bite in i couldn't keep eating them. The steak was tasteless not flavorful and did not taste fresh. It was like chewing on rubber. The chorizo taco was no better. So i tried to call grubhub for a refund because i clearly spent $16 on tacos that were inedible and the restaurant said No! That they were not going to refund the money they received from my order. Like you gotta be kidding me. I'm a restaurant manager thats not what customer service is. This people have no idea, how to treat a repeat customer. I had ordered many times from you guys but i will never ever again be coming back here. I live less than a minute walk away, so I've realllly tried to give this place a chance because not living above a 24/7 Duane Reade anymore has made me desperate to find a new late night/early morning place. Unfortunately, Les Crepes and Taqueria is beyond mediocre for what it is. They sell a variety of crepes, tacos, burritos, and a couple of sides (I think nachos). I've had the crepes several times (first day I moved in actually), the tacos a few times, and I've gotten 3-4 burritos from here. Everything I've tried has either been bad (the tortillas they use for the tacos are awful) or astoundingly okay. I thought Mexican food was supposed to have flavor?! It actually makes me so mad that this place is sooooo meh because it's open really late and tacos make great drunk food. Les Crepes and Taqueria will stay open though because a few storefronts down from it are two bars - Clockwork and Beverly's. They know their clientele. Being a Mexican from California living in the border between the two countries I'm always craving tacos. These hit the spot. Now every time my friends come into the hood we always come here late night (I come here in the day a few times a week too). The only thing that's missing are aguas frescas. Tiny little hole in the wall shop in the lower east side (Duhhhh, hence the name) that makes burritos, tacos, nachos, and crepes. I cannot review the Mexican food, considering I've never tried it, but i have had the s'mores crepe on several occasions. Now I love anything s'mores so I was beyond excited that they had s'mores and not just the typical strawberry, banana, and Nutella. The crepe was really good and the prices are good as well! Now because it's an outdoor shop with only a couple of seats outside, you can't really sit down and eat it on a cold day, so your best bet would be to take it to go. This is basically a take-out stand with one small table and one person manning all of the cooking. Everything was made-to-order and it did take a bit of time, but being patient paid off as these were some of the best tacos I've ever had. I'd say this is the smallest taco shop in the city that operates out of a window. The tacos are pretty good and they even sell crepes. They have one table for guest, but you wouldn't want to sit out there if its freezing cold. Also its the only spot in the area late at night serving food. read more

This place serves its purpose. It's a quick grab and go taco place that isn't pretentious, but still delivers decent food. I think they could work on their tortilla quality, and I personally would love a molé dish, but I know that's just me. I never get the Crêpes and only go for tacos, and I come here probably once every two weeks. I will preface my review by saying that I have had semi-decent burritos from here before, but HONEY there is no coming back from that sad excuse for a quesadilla. It was extremely disheveled, watery, and wet. Also we asked them if they could make it without jalapenos and the workers responded, "No". So our mouths were on fire for the whole crappy experience!
