But no worries they do have a big gazebo type structure in front of it with tables and chairs so no need to worry about getting wet (except from your car to the entrance. The lady that was at the window was helpful helping us choose our order. I had the cheesiest cheesesteak and OMG it had so much meat and cheeeeeese and so much flavor! Yum 10/10. Definitely would have that again and it was Huge. Hubby had the Ulet Burger which was craazy crazy! Definitely not for me but he definitely enjoyed it. And we share the cheesesteak egg roll which was cheesy , crispy and filled with meat. Definitely recommend as well. I'm definitely coming back.

I got the All American cheesesteak and added cheese wiz. You do have to order fries separately. My food came out pretty quick, upon opening it I noticed they didn't add the cheese wiz but she did give it to me on the side. It's a pretty stand cheesesteak and very well seasoned. The bread being soft made it 10x better. The fries were crispy and fresh just needed some more salt. The lady running the stall was so sweet and was very accommodating. Would be back to try their late night menu!

Everything was made fresh to order and I could see all the grill action from my seat. Which I loved. The clanking of the metal spatulas on the grill is a core memory. The steak sub was one of the best I have had and the chicken parm was very juicy. The garlic bread is great with mozzarella cheese. Which was a suggestion from our server. Great food is one thing, but great service makes it memorable and Sonny's absolutely delivers on both. The service gives old school diner vibes and our drinks were never empty. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to

Sunny's Famous Steak Hoagies in Hollywood has been my ride-or-die for meatball subs for as long as…read moreI can remember. This place wasn't just a sandwich shop. It was a core memory factory. Fresh bread, perfectly sauced meatballs, just the right amount of cheese. It was the kind of sub that required both hands and zero shame. So when the craving hit recently, I went back expecting a reunion tour of my favorite flavors. And... it felt more like a cover band. The meatball sub just didn't have that same punch. The flavor was kind of muted, like someone turned the seasoning dial down to "polite." The bread, which used to have that perfect soft-but-holds-it-together vibe, was soggy enough that I started eating faster out of structural concern. Nobody wants their sandwich collapsing mid-bite. It's still good. This isn't a disaster. But it's not the "I'm texting three friends about this sub" experience it used to be. And that honestly hurts a little. When you've had years of greatness, the bar is high. Three stars, and it pains me to say it. I'm rooting for Sunny's to get its mojo back because I'd love nothing more than to upgrade this review after my next meatball reunion.

This place is an absolute staple and a true hidden gem for anyone who loves a good sub. It's dangerous that it's so close to home ! What sets Hungry Bear apart is the fact that they pack their subs not just with generous amounts of meat, but with serious flavor too. Every bite hits, and it's obvious they season their ingredients with intention. Whether you go for the classic Philly or my go to, the Honey Mustard Chicken, you're getting a sandwich that's loaded and satisfying. Recently, I tried their new BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and... wow. It was everything you'd want in a messy, flavor packed sandwich. Smoky, tangy, crispy, melty and just perfection in a sub roll. Speaking of rolls, the bread here deserves a whole paragraph of its own. It's always soft, fresh, and just the right texture. It holds up without being too chewy or too dry, and honestly, it makes the whole experience next level. This is a takeout spot, and trust me, it's always packed. That's how you know it's legit. While there's no indoor seating they did recently add two picnic tables outside. If the weather's nice, that's your spot. If you haven't been to Hungry Bear yet, you must go. If you've already been you must go again. Some places come and go, but Hungry Bear is the kind of classic that sticks around for a reason.

HUGE PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS…read more.. This sandwich shop is in a busy Publix plaza surrounded by several other restaurants and today we finally tried it. The ordering was simplified by a chart on the front counter which depicted a classic Philly Cheesesteak with sizes outlined at 5" 8" 10" and the behemoth 18" which was the best size vs price at $22.49. They cut the sandwich in half, which was plenty of food for me and the wife. We chose the optional green and red wet peppers. Took a nice pic of the Philly creation on the sizzling flat grill. We took a seat and waited about five minutes for this beautiful Philly to arrive at our table, served by the chef which was a nice touch. The Philly was absolutely amazing. The meat was cut thin and retained the perfect amount of juice surrounded by the gooey cheese. The red peppers were spicy so buyer beware. This was a top 3 Philly for me. The bathroom had nice white tiled walls and cement industrial weathered flooring. The picture on the wall displayed people on the beach holding Capriotti's sandwiches and drinks. The only issue was the door to the men's bathroom would not lock and the women's bathroom did not have toilet paper, although both very clean. The strength of the sandwich and the counter girl, Jesse's personality, will push this rating to five stars.
