It was definitely hot outside, but thankfully they had plenty of fans, which helped make the heat a little more bearable. They had a pretty good selection of food and drinks, although I'll be honest... it's a little pricey. But if you're splitting everything with your party, it's not too bad. I did the build-your-own margarita and still have no idea how much I paid for it because it wasn't listed on the menu. We also got the Fairway Feast ($67.99), and honestly, it was delicious! The boneless wings were a hit! We got the Asian and Buffalo flavors, and both were SO good. The sliders were also really tasty! My only real complaint (besides the prices) is that they NEED to give you wet napkins. Trying to eat while also playing was a whole struggle, especially since we only had two hours. By the end, I was basically choosing between eating and golfing. Overall, though, I had a really good time! Just one VERY important PSA: STRETCH BEFORE YOU PLAY. It's been TWO DAYS and my back and arm are still sore. Apparently I thought I was a professional golfer for those two hours.

We had a group of 6 and we had a fun time. The food was great as well as the drinks. Also you order your food on a scan bar thing and order thru there wi h was a bit tricky but you can get the menu's as well and order with your server. We played 2 rounds as our time permits and had a great time hitting some balls and we got competitive. Love that they had a feature a net to shoot a Goal for World Cup. When our time finished we were able to hit the bar in the second floor and catch penalties for the Egypt game and it was so exciting and loved the huge screen they had. This place is great and so much fun to hang with friends, co workers and small events as well that you can reserve. There is tons of parking and great hangout spots outside and indoors if you just wanna hang by the bar and enjoy some good food. Would def come back! The staff were friendly and helpful here.

Had the best birthday celebration at Best Ball!…read more Everyone completely surprised me, and somehow managed to pull off a birthday party that started with a 5K complete with race bibs and a medal at the end! As a runner, that was such a fun and personal touch. From the run to the party, everything was perfect. Thanks to my sister and man for celebrating me like this! Afterward, we headed to Best Ball where we ate, drank, laughed, and spent a couple of hours having a great time. The food was really good, the drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere was fun without feeling overcrowded. There's a full bar and a large restaurant area with plenty of seating, so it was easy for everyone to hang out together. The service here is amazing they took care of us and we had a DJ and a photo booth outside to make it more festive! The babe even brought the cake over the day before and they were so great at keeping it. Whether you're there to golf, celebrate, or just spend time with friends, this place is a great spot. My favorite people, lots of laughs, good food, and a surprise birthday I'll never forget. What more could I ask for? We run here in the dark, daytime and evenings and pass this restaurant all the time we will be coming here more often. Lots of parking out in the front. Highly recommend for birthdays or any excuse to get a group together!

Bonus that you can order food from your section with QR codes they provide. Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub -- the way I was not expecting this amazing sandwich. They know how to make them! The bread, which imo is what makes the sandwich, was light, fluffy and had a nice crunch with every bite. It kept its integrity and never fell apart. The chicken itself was perfectly seasoned but is more citrusy than anything else. It did mask a bit of the ranch taste but it was still delicious. Would absolutely get again. & it was huge! Great price! Chicken tenders & Cajun tots -- we love a place that perfectly seasons their food! Tots were fire. Chicken was good for what it is. Basic done right. Pizza -- sauce had rich flavor, solid pizza.

Mother's day brunch was a mess for $800…read more Entrees and service wasn't worth the units. For nearly $100 per person, rib steak that was sous vide to medium, then served nearly well done and completely undersalted is unacceptable for a restaurant asking for this much coin. The steak sandwich was completely reliant on the aoli sauce between the dry ciabatta bread, and again showcasing how underwhelming the steak was by being undersalted. One of our dishes was completely forgotten, and had to be followed up on. Surrounding tables had similar issues. Eggs benedict with smoked salmon was a hit The starter salads / french onion soup and desserts were tasty, with the banana / blueberry bread pudding and tres leches cake being the stars. Avoid this after-thought of a brunch if you can, stick to their dinner menu and enjoy the incredible ambiance that is Saddle Peak Lodge. What a disaster though! For $800, Fogo de Chao, Maestros, Flemmings, even a drive to Alexanders in Pasadena would of been memorable. Shoot, should of just gone to Lure for the 10,000th time, at least it would of offered the same boring consistency. Super disappointed in Saddle Peak Lodge, as my family and I come here 1-2 times a year for dinner. Sadly this experience sums up why their over-all Yelp score is 3.5 stars now, and I'm sadly adding fuel to the fire for what once was one of my favorite restaurants.

First of all, we requested outdoor seating which was perfect for a warm summer afternoon. We moved tables to one right on the edge that had a perfect view of the setting sun. The food was so delicious and the presentation was amazing. A huge shout out to our server Jonah who asked the three of us our names and remembered them throughout dinner. He went the extra mile to make sure our experience was fabulous! I'd come back just to get seated at his table again! We started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts which had just the right amount of crunch and tanginess. My friends shared the Ahi Tuna Tartare and said it was delicious. For mains, we split the Dry Aged Ribeye and the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle Pasta and had the Garlic Truffle Fries and the Four Cheese Mac 'n' Cheese as sides. Our favorite was the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle. I'd go back and just order that with a protein. Of course we also had a few drinks. My friend ordered the Belle which was an experience in itself. My other friend got a mocktail and I got a strawberry lemon drop! There are so many other items on the menu so I will, no doubt, be making a return trip soon!

Last Saturday, I attended a wedding-anniversary celebration, and the reception was held at Castaway…read morein Burbank. It was a very hot day. The valet parking area was a bit cramped, and the valet staff who greeted us was somewhat gruff. While waiting for the reception to start, my friends and I hung out at the bar/restaurant area. We sat at a booth with a view. The view wasn't very clear that day, but it was still nice. The décor in both the restaurant/bar and reception areas was contemporary and attractive. The ladies room was clean. Service was cordial, starting with the hostess and our waiter. Our reception was held in a separate event area. The schedule started with cocktails from 5-6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The cocktail hour was held outdoors on a terrace with some umbrellas. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot--around 90-95 degrees. The bartenders seemed a little cranky, but I couldn't blame them. They were working outside in that heat and wearing black. What was notable, though, was that the two glasses of Chardonnay I had--poured from two separate bottles--both tasted good. So, kudos to the bartenders for keeping the wines, or at least the Chardonnay, at the proper temperature! Luckily, the staff serving the food were cordial and pleasant. Kudos to them! The food served during cocktail hour was quite tasty. There was chicken, lumpia (fried egg rolls), and goat cheese served on small pieces of toasted bread. And that wasn't all -- we also had lechon, a whole roasted pig! When dinner started, we moved inside to the event room. The room itself was fairly basic, but the service continued to be good. Kudos to the staff there as well. Dinner started with Caesar Salad, followed by a choice of main course. I had the Salmon, which was quite tasty. The other option was a combination of Shrimp and Steak, which most people seemed to order. The gentleman sitting next to me barely touched his meal, and when his partner asked why, he said the steak was tough. However, I didn't hear any similar complaints from anyone else. One thing worth mentioning for anyone considering Castaway for an event: our reception included several dance presentations, but there was no private room available for the dancers to change costumes. They had to change in the hallway leading to the restrooms. There was a door separating that hallway from the main event room, but I still felt bad for them. It didn't rain on their parade, though -- they were happy and enthusiastic about their performances. Kudos to them, too! So, just an FYI if you're planning an event here that includes dance performances or other entertainment requiring costume changes. The ladies room was clean as well. Our hosts validated our valet parking, which was much appreciated. When we picked up our car later that evening, the valet attendant was pleasant. Maybe it helped that it was already dark and the temperature had dropped to around 85 degrees! P.S. Looks like Castaway was doing very good business that day (or maybe they always do!). There were a lot of people in the bar/restaurant area, and there were several other events going on besides ours.
