Topgolf is such a fun entertainment complex that is great for both small groups and big groups, as well as for parties and celebrations. Not only is this place for hitting balls, but it is also a sports bar and restaurant. Prices are charged per hour, per hitting bay and can fluctuate depending on the time of day. Each bay can fit up to 6 players - so if you have more than 6 people in your group, you will be split up between multiple bays. My group of 5 had a wonderful time here. We paid for 2 hours, which I think was the perfect amount of time. Anything less than 2 hours would have felt like not enough time for everyone to play a fair share. There is an option to reserve a bay online ahead of time. However, I've never had any issues with doing a walk-in. From what I've seen, the venue is huge (3 floors) with lots of hitting bays available throughout. If you don't have any experience with golf, don't worry. This venue is nothing like regular golf. Finally got a chance to check out Topgolf and I was very impressed. Came here with my wife and a group of friends and we had a blast. After checking in, we got a section to ourselves on the 2nd floor. Golf here is pretty much arcade style, with plenty of games that include: Angry Birds, Classic, Football Field Goals, Long Range, and plenty more. Plenty of options for your party to have a fun time. There's also numerous clubs and drivers for you to choose from, from beginner style drivers to your standard golf clubs. Our party decided for the two hour activation which went by quick as we were having lots of fun. There's plenty of food and drink options which the staff brings out fairly quickly. We went in the afternoon but I believe everything looks more "glow" vibes during the evening time. Overall, wonderful spot for hanging out with friends to enjoy a fun time. It's very much a sports bar type place. Very clean inside, staff is friendly and quick. Loved the experience overall. This was our second time at this location, we got the Playmore Membership and we took advantage of it. We were looked after today by Sam DEPAZ. Her service was 10/2 10, she kept coming in to check on us. It took us about 10 minutes to get our game going and she was very helpful as I wasn't happy that we lost 10 minutes of our time. Customer Service was outstanding, the food was good and the ambience was fun. The friends we went with signed up for the Membership and we will be coming back here more often. STAFF NEEDS BETTER TRAINING Went during lunch to celebrate my husbands birthday last week with family and friends and we got 2 tables. Food was good, drinks came out fast and we had a great time except the server guy lost our receipt at the end of our time. So while he's scrambling to remember everyone's order and re-input everything, another server comes and tells us we need to vacate the table because others might want it. Ummm it's a Monday afternoon 2pm and it wasn't busy so I don't get why we had to be rushed when it was them that lost our receipt and made us wait! We told them we wanted to do the cake there but they made us take it to the empty tables inside the bar. They also forgot to sing happy birthday too or even mention anything to my husband. Topgolf Montebello is a great place to hangout, hit a few swings, eat, drink, and/or watch football. This location just opened its doors about a year ish ago so it is still relatively new. After my party and I checked in, we were greeted by our server that would later bring our food and drinks, she came and checked on us around every 15 mins or so, extra points for that! The golf swings can be challenging when you don't know what you are doing, but practice makes perfect. This place is right next to a good golf course so you can first play a round of real golf and then come here to dia your skills if you didn't have enough on the course. So much to like about Topgolf. This was my first time ever going to any Topgolf location, & I bought gift cards at Costco, thinking a had gotten a deal. On Sunday, it's $60 for 1hr but actually there's a much better deal on the app. If you become a Playmore member, it's $20 for 1hr that you can use once per month. That's a savings of $40 per hour right there. So now that you know that tidbit, here's what I liked. Everything is very clean & organized. Our server took great care of us, showed us to our bay, & took food & beverage orders. I had heard about the Angry Birds game, & the part that I loved was you hit 3 balls & then change players. That keeps things interesting & makes sure everyone has a chance to swing. You have TONS of space, a table for your food & drinks, and a screen for the spectators to know who is next for taking turns. I absolutely enjoyed our time & I was all set to go back to Costco to buy another set of gift cards when I saw the deal on the app. Definitely give this place a try. They need to add some better salad options as they are really lacking in this area. Also their appetizers could be better. We bought the sampler plate and it left us disappointed. We had a two hour appointment time. Like any top golf, you create an account and play mini games on the display. The place tracks how fast and far your ball will go. We booked a time the day before and luckily we did because it was crowded! It's also half off on Thursdays, which was nice. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! We closed out the bill and the server quickly scrolled thru the POS, so I didn't have a chance to review the bill. Once I paid, I was emailed the itemized receipt and noticed I was charged for 13 memberships, when there weren't even 13 people in our party. I brought this up, they adjusted on the spot and told me it was a glitch in the system. I later realized they charged me for 4 bays, when we had reserved 2. I called to get the payment adjusted. After some investigation on their end they quickly adjusted the overcharge, and they told me it was a glitch in the system that happens about once a month. Other than issues with over charges, the service was really good. I hope that in the future they train staff to review guest charges on membership and bays (aka gameplay on the receipt) for accuracy, especially if management knows it's a common system glitch. read more

The servers were doing the best they could, but things ran out quickly - plates, salsa, water, sour cream, etc. The main courses were replenished pretty quickly though. Getting beverages was confusing...I wasn't sure if we were supposed to flag down a server to order drinks or pick up from the bar. The seating was plentiful, but the space might fit, but not be the most comfortable for 100+ people since walkways are a bit narrow. There's a kid's catering table and their courses are burger sliders, cheese quesadilla, mini corn dogs, and tater tots. The adult's catering tables had beef, chicken, tortillas, rice, refried beans, salsa, sour cream, & shredded cheese. The beef was tender and tasted pretty good, but the chicken was dry. I love top golf it's fun and enjoying relaxing at your bay to catch a game. Don't expect the food to be amazing 10/10 no it's more like a 7.8/10 I've been here at least 15 times already fries are always lukewarm, burgers are solid, chicken sandwich can hit or miss mostly hits well, the apps are good especially the sliders and pretzels. The biggest let down was going during March madness i wanted to watch the game on their screen and no one was manning the beer or food section spent 10 minutes and realize they didn't care for the March madness and then went to BWW. I'm really hesitant to go for World Cup. I think they miss out on a lot of business since they leave the sports bar area empty forcing you to play but sometimes you just want to catch a game and food.
