Came here for my birthday with my in laws and it was way better than I expected ! It's a family of women running the restaurant. I love family restaurants and this was a great place to come for lunch. They enjoy it here and they wanted me to try their food from Puebla Mexico. They make all their bread and tortillas fresh in the restaurant. Their quesadillas are huge! It's made with black corn and they don't skimp on the cheese. I got the flor de calabaza which is zucchini blossoms. They ran out of the mushroom one I wanted to try, but this was just as good. Nothing was too salty but definitely flavorful. I also got the cemita de milanesa and they did not skimp out on the avocado inside the sandwich. My goodness. It's a hole in a wall kind of restaurant but their food is very good. Best cookies in downtown LA, I've never had the food tho or been here in my life. My uncle just brings us the cookies.

If I could put no stars I would. Food was awful. We found a hair in our plate the herbs where gone bad. Service was irritating they weren't at all friendly when told about these issues. Never coming back they couldn't even get the order right. EDIT: Juan Carlos, to your reply, I never once yelled at your employees I told them they didn't get the order right and she seemed irritated to hear that and it's sad as the owner not even you know what customer service is.
