Visited there twice for breakfast with half orange and mother-in-law, whom used to live in that area (Sweetwater). Here my comments: Pros: 1-Although none of us is from El Salvador, we tried their pupusas and those were excellent! Excellent taste and flavor. 2-Service was fine, both times we visited there (Saturday noon) place was 75% full but waiters were well mannered, no complain here. 3-Waiting time: you are seated right away, do not have to wait for a table. Cons: 1-Parking: This restaurant is in a small shopping center by Flagler and 107th avenue, the parking spaces at their parking lot are more suited for bicycles and not cars. 2-Maze: The place is full of tables and chairs, be careful when you move or will bump on other patron. 3-Prices: The pupusas were fine, but we checked the possibility for having a dinner there and found their prices for drinks and dinner were somewhat high. 4-Noisy: Do not expect quietness when visiting there. In my humble opinion the place is not bad but seems to me like the old saying 'jack of all, master of none'...Maybe if this restaurant kind of focuses on something more specific, either being a family oriented or 'bar' oriented with the karaoke and night club environment... read more

This place have amazing food for every palate. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for good steak and Latin flavor. The two main reasons I didn't give it 5 stars where: - Some of the plates are a little overpriced. - Depending on the day you go, you may find yourself on a live karaoke that will be extremely loud and it will give you a hard time to talk with your friends/family/date. One of my favorite dishes is the Parrillada. It can be ordered for one or two people and it will contain lots of meat. It comes with beef, ribs, chicken and good old chorizo (sausage) Highly recommend this place! read more

I love this place. They do kareoke on certain days, they have a stage, and it gets packed out with giant families on weekends. One time I was in here when they had a live band. The guitarist had a giant sparkler on the end of his guitar which he lit in the middle of a solo. It sprayed sparks a good five feet, bouncing them off the ceiling and all over the stage. The fire alarm went off and the whole restaurant almost burnt down. It was awesome. Flower venders will occasionally wander through the tables selling roses for $5. I don't really come for the food, it's alright but nothing special. I go to Centro Americano because it's just way more lively than any restaurant I've ever been too, and I always have a memorable experience. Love it. read more

This places is interesting, the breakfast is extremely tasty since they have refried beans, eggs, cheese, etc. carb overload and addicting. Its also cheap and it gets busy, but there is always tables because it's big. Here is the catch, this people are DIRTY, no hygiene . From the tables , coffee cups to plates. Also, there is no service, the people don't seem to like working there. If you want a delicious,fattening breakfast served in dirty plates by an indifferent waitress, then you found the place. read more

The food is good. However, They have a big sign on the door advertising Caribbean Night on Thursdays with live music. I even asked about it. I then show up Thursday at 10 PM and there is Karaoke. I was confused so I asked a waitress: Isn't there latin music? and she says 'Yes, Karaoke!" Maybe it was because they were singing 'Hotel California' but I just walked out. Server tried doing his job but the was busted and the room was getting hotter by the minute food was ok no real novelty but I guess it's ok the manager Manuel was terrible about the A/C situation I can not recommended this restaurant . Go next door to Los Ranchos which I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised and reasonably priced. read more

The food was very good but there was a lack of attention. Towards the end, we asked for a menu to see the desserts, 15 min went by and we never got the menu. The waiter just came back to drop off the check. Very frustrating. The waiters here tends to forget to come and check on the tables. read more

Why not five...because of its location!!! But like you know I have been looking for pupusas (AWESOME ONES LIKE BACK HOME).... and they have them....Conchita in the kitchen knows what she is doing, even la salsa de tomate and curtido were real good. The bar looked stocked with everything you could possibly want. The owner was nice and welcoming (and he was Salvadorian). Will be back....if I go that far south again...lol!!! I've been coming here for dinner for more than a year now. The service is always great and the staff is really nice. Everything is reasonably-priced and the food is amazing. They really have a great mix of latin food. They also have really impressive latin singers who come in weekend nights and perform while everyone enjoys their dinner. read more

Great deal in the Sweetwater area. Visited for lunch which had over 15 options for under $8.00. The special came with soup included, then one entree + 2 sides. I got the chicken parmagiana with arroz morro and tostones. Portions were great and food was flavorful. I will be back in the near future. read more

The food is good for a reasonable price. The attention is not that bad. The ambiance could be better. But when the OWNER treats his customers rudely, that's when it goes down hill. Last time I was there, a huge cockroach crawled up next to me on the wall. Of course, that's disgusting and the first thing I did was tell the waiter. Before they could kill it, the roach went on its merry way flying. Yes, FLYING. Now imagine how their kitchen must be? We talked to the owner. Instead of him being polite to my friends and I, he said: "This is normal! unless the roach was in your food, I can't do anything for you" --all while raising his voice and giving a very nasty attutude. Allright, I did not know flying roaches in a restaurant is the norm. Needless to say we did not even touch our drinks and the owner made us pay a $30 bill. Talk about being class-less! read more

ok if r looking for latin food than this is the place for you to go eat. the food here is alright not the best but sort of good. the only bad thing that i give it 3 stars is beacuase they give u a little amount of rice and salad and then u are even more hungry and also the restrooms are so dirty. don't even think of taking a dump here haha lol. read more

I enjoy going to this place. I wish it was closer so I could visit more often. I've tried their parrillada the other day it was delicious. Everything I've tried taste fresh. It is usually packed by large groups of family and still service is not as slow as other places. The waitress was very honest about timing on the food and I appreciated that. read more
