    All the Halloween goods

If I would have had my truck here, we would have been going home stocked up! Amazing place, came at end of September so the Halloween goods were rolling out. Some very cool stuff here, priced reasonably.

It's my favorite store in the vicinity of Old Town. Don't let the pots stop you from exploring this not-so-little store, there's so much more to see once you are inside. If you're looking into putting some vibrant colored décor in your home, you might find it here. How much of that décor and color you want to put in (or out) your home is completely up to you. And it doesn't stop there. Looking for a unique gift? They might have it here, too. There's a wide array of different knick knacks, from magnets, to shot glasses, to windchimes. Even wallets and ponchos, etc... it really felt like I was in a souvenir store in Mexico. Ended up with a few things both for home and to give away. Recommend coming in to check them out. You might find something you didn't think you needed... or wanted.

The tacos were Visiting San Diego and ended up going on a Saturday night! Prompt service, loved sitting at the window watching food be made! The Ceviche was most excellent!

Receipt showing I got charged twice for one $15 item.

I really liked this shop and wished I had more time to browse around, however I must admit I was disappointed after realizing later in the evening that I had been over charged. Make sure to pay attention to your totals when making purchases. I bought 5 items which should have totaled 52.40 +tax. I instead got charged twice for one 15.00 item which brought my total to 72.62 including tax.

PROS: this place caught my eye when I saw all the pottery. This place has earned an easy 5 stars for having a lot of inventory in a spaced out area with decent prices and nice workers CONS: when you're inside there's 10,000 chimes hanging from the ceiling that's at a level where everyone is bumping their heads into them OVERALL: Great place to come and see and if I were you I would make room in your house for one of these pots

I really enjoyed this shop. I had it picked out on Yelp because I wanted to check out Mexican pottery while I was in Old Town. I found the prices of the pottery to be on the cheaper side than nearby stores. Nice selection and variety of other Mexican goods, too. Will be back!

Amazing clay items. Picked up Loteria tiles that we used as centerpieces. Consistently amazing, beautiful items.

One of the funner shops in Old Town.. True, you can get a lot of this stuff cheaper in TJ but why risk being kidnapped? Most of the stuff here is from Mexico or Central/South American countries. It's a very colorful place and every inch of the property is stuffed with various pottery and hangable items. What's also great about El Centro is that they sell at all price points. There's something unique to be found for everyone including tiles, wind chimes, pottery, scented oils ( not essential oils), a lot of crap to hang on your wall, and surfing monkeys. - Not the friendliest staffers. They're basically sitting back behind the counter and collecting all that tourist money. - On Sunday they have a pottery demonstration.

I love this pottery shop located in Old Town San Diego. They always have such a good selection of pottery items and gifts. Sawyer was the sales associate who helped us and some other employees helped load the two birdbaths we got and each one of them was so nice and helpful. We are all happy with our purchases and will definitely go back.

August 10, 2019 Came here knowing I would find a Authentic Mexican red clay bean pot like my grandma use to have. So my mini Mac went in saw what I wanted and we went in. We have been here many times but my cheap ass always cracks this line.....we can go to Tijuana and get one for $5 American dollars. We took our passport had plans to go get one but it got too late so we had no choice but to buy it here. The guy is pretty nice but he hustles his money can't be mad at that. I wanted an authentic clay piggy bank went to Tijuana got a gorgeous white one with hand painted pink flowers on it was in heaven......seen them in San Diego for like 60 dollars I paid 10. I high recommended this place for authentic Mexican pots and wind chimes you just need to know your paying high prices but then you don't need a passport or a 4 hr wait in the line to come back to the U. S. side.

    Beautiful Talavera pot

One of my favorite places to go love the Talavera planters they are amazing .highly recommend

Check out my strawberry planter from El Centro Artesano! I filled it with my cacti and succulents that had outgrown their nursery pots.
    Elizabeth P.

I had been looking for a strawberry planter for a while and finally found the perfect one here! The courtyard is filled with beautiful pottery at great prices. Be sure to check out the shop inside. It's full of smaller treasures that would make perfect gifts. The staff was great and they said that the store is super dog friendly. I'll definitely be back.

The stuff is pretty expensive and high-end, but if I had a lot of money, I would buy a lot of things! I did buy a little pitcher and it was reasonably priced. I would've loved to have bought some of the blue and white table linens but they were just out of my price range but so very very lovely. I would highly recommend this place especially if you like the colors blue and white as much as I do for your living room decor.

Several beautiful coffee table books they carry are on my bucket list (support small business!) and I couldn't resist the coziest recycled tartan wool blanket last time I popped in. When you need a memorable birthday, wedding or housewarming gift, stop at Mood Indigo. They have on-trend candles, bowls, platters, baskets and serving ware, and the photographs and artwork would certainly impress a hard-to-please recipient who seemingly has everything! This little shop is a perfect place to find unique keepsakes for those vacationing in La Jolla/Bird Rock, too. You'll spend a bit more here but instead of cheap touristy items found elsewhere, you'll have high-quality gifts your friends and family will actually cherish and keep for a lifetime.

There were a few other couples in our session, but it still felt intimate and personal. For $150, we were able to make three creations of anything we wanted during the 1 hour and 30 minute class. We had so much fun the entire time. The studio itself is super cute and clean, which made the experience even better. Pinch is such a perfect way to introduce yourself, your partner, or your friends to pottery. If you're new, they teach you the basics and guide you through everything if you need help. They also have a ton of different glaze colors to choose from, which I loved. Definitely will be coming back again!

There is an ABM Parking lot right across the street from the East Curb line, $10 for 12hrs of parking, on a Saturday Night that is great for downtown. The staff here was Wyathe and Shelby. They were very good with teaching our group the ways to produce beautiful pottery. The class is $90/person and that includes the instructional 45mins class plus 1 pottery item. If you want to add more items, it's $10/additional item. With the time I had left I opted to do 1 additional item. This allowed me to form and create another small bowl to complete a set of 2. I plan to use them for individual rice and meat dishes at work lunch. Wonderful party, we were allowed to bring light Hor d'oevres and juices and water for the group. Nice time and I highly recommend.
