Have been there twice lately. Two times I was overcharged with two different explanations. My final straw was when the cashier decided to argue with me though I told them exactly what I ordered given the reason prior to this visit. The order was wrong and supposedly caused the upcharge. After I proved what I should have been charged; the cashier told me since the waiter clearly got it wrong it was my responsibility to pay the upcharge. Ordered Carnita with side of cilantro , a few bites in a fly crawled out from Under my cilantro. I pointed out to the server at which point the owner came over and apilogized and said the flies have been really bad. He insisted that I order something else or did I want a gift card. I did order a quesadilla which was several dollars less than my meal. When the bill came not only did he charge for my meal but also charged me .99 for the cilantro. Now I know things can happen in the kitchen but if I was the Restuarant owner I surely would not have charged my customer! We really wanted to like this spot as it is literally right down the road. Not bad but just not memorable. We spilt fajitas and the meat was just okay. The margaritas were pretty good. Never ever ever ever again people!!!! All of my friends and family know our Bristol!!!! She still struggles with food textures and issues related to her strokes! We were told about a great Mexican restaurant by someone in Azle in the nearby town of spring town. We all loaded up and were told very quickly that no outside food allowed. We had picked up nuggets for Bristol. I tried explaining her medical situation and she said that it didn't matter. What's sad???? That we are huge supporters of local anything! They discriminated against someone with a medical disability!!! She is 6, and is a pure miracle!!! When I tried explaining to her this, she said it didn't matter. Extremely happy with my experience at thos establishment. The salsa was fresh and very tasty, the queso too was great. The rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection, awesome flavor in the refried beans. Not to mention the tacos which were among the best criapy beef tacos ive ever had. We have gone twice. Both times our food was cold. We ordered queso last night it was cold. I ordered combo fajitas. OMG! Where's the meat. The skillet has more onions on it. No peppers 5 little strips of steak and 4 little strips of chicken for $12.99. Not a good buy. The main dining room is too cramped. Have gone for 5 or 6 times over the last year, it has been in a downward spiral, it finally bottomed out last night as far as I am concerned. Arrived at 5:20 after 10 minutes I ask the hostess if anyone was going to serve us, she attempted to when finally the server arrived. My wife had Chicken Enchiladas and I had Tacos al Carbon in both the meat was "BLAH" no seasoning have OVER COOKED. We will NOT be going back.
