Stopped by on a Monday around 7pm, got my food within 5 minutes. Ordered a pescado (fish) tostada and a shrimp empanada. The food was exceptional, the fish was super fresh and the onions and tomato did not overpower the ceviche. 5 stars on the food and service! The waitress was friendly and spoke to me in Spanish. I'm not Spanish speaking but the customer behind me translated a word I didn't understand. I'll definitely be a regular. read more

This place is bomb everything is fresh and soooo good shrimp is very well cleaned all sea food is fresh I have never gotten sick from eating any of the food served here and I have tried almost everything in their menu I highly recommend the empanadas filled with Cheese small chopped onions no shrimp and super tasty mid salsa on the side I also recommend the fish ceviche campechana and please try the shrimp and cheese burrito is so good only thing is that depending at the time you visit there is a long waiting time . The food is just ok, aguachiles are not cooked in all the way so if you don't like them that way I don't recommend them from here, also they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. It's rare when they answer, it's happened before where they just shut off the phone cause they don't want to take phone orders. Maybe they're too busy? I just started a new job this week in Walnut Park and have driven by this spot everyday this week. So today I decided to stop in and check it out. Next to taking this new job that I love,this has been the best decision I have made all week this place is awesome the owner is a great guy the employees are all super friendly and the food is just straight awesome. I love Ceviche and I'm very very picky. This is by far the freshest and best ceviche I have ever had. It's a small place with outdoor dining only and it's always busy. This is the favorite when I take it to a potluck. Another one of my favorites is Camarón Empanisado also fresh shrimp none of that frozen junk you get at other seafood restaurants! Definitely a great food aguachile is the best as well the ceviche de pescado but I really think customer service and waiting time needs to improve as soon as possible, I love to come here but even that I order by phone I still have to wait 20 to 30 min in line "may be you should have a line exclusively for carry on customers" on a Sunday afternoon that's the reason we don't call often. other then that food is excellent!! . The lady at front needs to improve she's sometimes rude they have to understand that working as a customer service is not easy but you don't have to be rude make sure they really appreciate the customers!! read more

This is the worst place for ceviche! I have never in my life had ceviche with soooo much onion. I actually took the time to take all of the onion out and only 1/4 of the "large order" was fish, the other 3/4 is chopped onion. It seems like a nice chill place but it is not worth the wait or money. You are better off going to el paisa. Ohhh and don't make a phone call order, they will mess it up and eventually blame you, ladys are rude!! read more

Ok, so I came back trying to give them one more chance....I made a telephone order, I walked to the "pick up here" window and the employee said that I had to get in line (which is fine) but then while I was in line, I saw this man walk up to the "pick up here" window and the same employee who told me to get in back of the like helped him out with no problem and the man still had the audacity to order more food at the window and of course, the employee helped him out. So how is it fair that you send me back AND other customers who had phone orders to the back of the line and you help out the man who maybe is a regular but just because he sweet talked to you, he got services right away without having to get in line. Your bad customer service isn't going to help out your business. Another customer noticed the same thing and he told me to complain to them about what had just happen. So I wasn't but when i got my food, which i checked that it was correct, I did complain to the lady who had told me to get in back of the line and she said that everyone has to make line. I said, I understand and I dont mind, but just because a man sweet talked you, you help them out. You have to treat every customer the same. We love the food but man your service sucks. And to the owner or manger, I dont want to hear that they are new employees because it's the same rude ladies that were there last time I went. And can I suggest something that might help out your business run smoother.......why dont u have the phone orders done as they come, call out the name of the phone order when its done. If the customer isnt there, then on to the next. If the customer is there then you charge them right there and then. Your lines would he much shorter and faster service and happy customer. read more

This place has a pretty good selection of food, and to no surprise...it's pretty good. That's the reason I'm giving it two stars. Why'd they lose three stars? The wait is ridiculously long and the customer service is horrible. The women speak with a LOUD tone of voice. It almost feels as if they're purposely trying to piss you off. They finish each sentence with a fake laugh, I guess to play it off and hope you dont notice...I wasn't the only one to notice. When you arrive at the window, they wont greet you...they just either say "quien sigue" or "que va ordenar". While they take your order, there is no eye contact, and just constantly ask, "que mas" as if they dont want you to keep ordering. When they call out your order and you approach the window, they just slide your tray to you without saying anything but request your receipt. No thank you, no repeating the order..nothing. read more
