We finally decided to give it a shot the next day & from the crowded parking lot & line that snaked the corner store, we knew we made the right decision. I ordered a chile relleno burrito, the battered & fried pepper could barely be contained in the tortilla; don't expect a gigantic burrito, theirs are quite petite, perfect for eating in the car or standing up, as there is no seating. We shared a very tasty shredded beef & potato crispy taco, only about two bites each, but with a burrito each & a sweet, delicious lime drink, that was all we could handle. Be prepared to line up behind moms with small kids, couples, and guys on their lunch hour because everyone in Salinas loves this bomb-ass eatery with a simple, well-priced menu that bears no resemblance to Chipotle. read more

Yes, I was ordering for my family of four and she kept saying, "and that's it?" and I'd add, "no, I'm gonna order another burrito" she'd roll her eyes.
