Meh. Our family eats a lot of Mexican food. This place was mediocre at best. The chips and salsa were nothing special. I actually thought the salsa was from a jar but waitress said they make it. The inlaws shared an order of beef fajitas because who needs their own fajita meal when it is $22. What?! That's right. $22. And no, the portion was not larger or more full of meat than other places. Our 7 year old loves refried beans and ate two sides of them. (The sides of beans aren't listed on the menu but a small bowl runs $1.) My husband and I each had nachos. I would have had enchiladas or something but didn't want to pay almost $20 for just my own meal. Nachos were served on a huge plate. They were covered in melted mozzarella cheese. Huh? Not exactly Mexican, right? Guacamole on the top was tasty and the highlight of the nachos. I tried the Mexican rice which tasted like white rice mixed with their mediocre salsa. Our service was prompt, staff friendly and restrooms clean. Don't expect to hear mariachi or similar music - most of the music was rock music from the 90s. My family and I decided to give it a try after my favorite restaurant in Lincoln had a 90 minute wait. And we are so glad we did!! This will be a "must" stop every time. I was surprised I didn't get rice with my enchiladas like in every other Mexican restaurant but they were very good by themselves so I didn't miss it. Margaritas were delicious!! After dinner we went next door to play pool with the kiddos, dance and have more margaritas. I asked the bartender why some margaritas were bigger than other and he explained the alcohol content was the same but some people like to see more volume so they just add more mix. I prefer a smaller glass with a stronger drink. My family enjoyed every single minute at this restaurant. We had so much fun and our bellies did too! read more

After being very disappointed and not served at nachos we stumbled upon this little gem of a place ! The server Kerri was very friendly and welcoming ! The drink was fantastic and they did not have a taco salad on the menu however Kerri told me the chef would be able to whip it up and accommodate me ! The taco salad was amazing and huge ! Came here for an early-ish dinner with my family this past weekend. As someone who eats a lot of Mexican food, I wasn't too impressed by what I had. The salsa tasted like it came out of a jar which was disappointing as chips and salsa is my favorite part about going to a Mexican place. For New Hampshire it's probably good, but where I'm from it couldn't compare. The service was good as well as the atmosphere. It's a big space which even had live music going and a dance floor on the other side of the dining area. There's also some arcade games and two bars. It's exactly what my rating is "A-OK." read more

I often go for lunch here when I'm on my own. There is mainly an empty cafe midday but service and food quality doesn't suffer from the low production. Their chips are fresh made and salsa is also from scratch. I usually have nachos or a chicken dish and both have been excellent. My only complaint is that the music is very loud. read more

Had previously made reservation for my wife and I. When we got they tried to seat us at a table so small it probably would not hold two drinks never mind the food. Shortly after being seated, you receive tortilla chips and salsa, as with many Mexican restaurants. They have an extensive drinks menu, but we were not able to partake. The nachos and salsa were very good, and not too spicy. Entrees ranged from $12 up, and there was a good selection there. My wife tried the enchilada with chicken , while I chose the chimichangas with beef Her meal was perfectly spiced. Mine had great taste as well, but I could have used a bit more spice. The portion on my plate was definitely worth the $16 price, and was great the next day as leftover breakfast. Service was good, and the wait from ordering to having plates delivered was not too long at all. My only complaint would be the ceiling tiles, as another reviewer mentioned. They could use some paint, or replacing. I would definitely stop by here again, if I was in the region. read more

My son got the chicken quesadilla which was really good, I got the chicken enchiladas Rojas which the sauce tasted like pizza sauce and they put parmesan sprinkle cheese on it. Awful service. Waitstaff/bartender did not care to wait on or serve us. Took our order after 15 mins then forgot what we ordered so came back to take the order again. My husband had an enchilada and I has the tostadas appetizer for dinner. The chicken was cooked well, the other ingredients seems fresh. Their chips were really good (I love thin crispy tortilla chips) and salsa ok. It's not quite up to par with other Mexican restaurants that I like but it's reasonably priced and food is ok. This restaurant just opened in December and provides a more upscale Mexican dining experience than our old standby, Nachos, across the street. It bills itself as "authentic Mexican," which apparently means we won't necessarily find expected comfort foods like tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Unfortunately, we didn't find any vegetarian entrees on the menu - something we expect at most Mexican restaurants - although they were able to provide vegetarian versions of three items. Moreover, we couldn't include rice, since it was chicken-based. Service was quite friendly and helpful, although it took forever to get the margarita, and the entrée order was not taken until we'd finished all the appetizers. The margarita, when it finally came, was way too salty. The food was mixed. To start, we ordered guacamole, which was made at our table based on the ingredients we wanted. Two of us wanted onions and one didn't -- not a problem. A bit pricey, but worth the $10. Next were nachos, again ordered in two versions: cheese and no cheese. Chips were few and soggy. Ingredients did not mix together, and cheese was solid, not melted - a disappointment. Among the entrees, the fajita tasted good, but arrived in weird proportions: way too many peppers, about the right amount of other ingredients, but only four tiny tortillas (we needed to order four more). The second entree, flautas resembled a hard-shelled enchilada, and was quite good. All in all, a mixed bag. We'll see if they get their act together on some of the shortcomings. UPDATE: About a year later, we were disappointed to see that there was little improvement. For Mexican food, I actually prefer the far less pretentious and less expensive Nachos across the street. read more

Food is fine- certainly nothing special. Portions are fine- they skimp a little on the rice and refried beans, but not a big deal. The pre-meal salsa is incredibly thin and straight from a jar. The server was nice, but the biggest issue was the meal was messed up several times. The server first asked after bringing out the food if we needed anything else- except we were missing an entire meal. Turns out that one was never entered in the system- so we had to wait for that one to be done. Two other meals were wrong entirely. First of all we requested tableside guacamole the waiter came and dropped off this humongous black bowl with maybe 4 tablespoons of guacamole and it wasn't table side. He told us it was too busy, there was a total of six active tables in the entire restaurant. We watched people next to us get tableside guacamole. we had to ask several times for refills on drinks. I requested shrimp tacos instead of the tilapia fish tacos. $22 he up charged me for $27 LITERALLY two shrimp CUT IN PIECES it was disgusting no taste or flavor. We only came here because a guy at the hotel overheard us and recommended it. He said he got sick at the other Mexican restaurant nearby and this was the "good one". First the waitress was horrible. She seemed a bit annoyed and tried to upsell me on the liquor. The food itself was poor quality. Although others at our table liked their dishes, mine seemed to be made with cheap processed cheese. We waited an hour for our check after we finished our meals. We literally sat for an hour with empty plates and drinks without anyone checking on us. We even saw our waitress walk by outside in the parking lot and had no idea if she was ever coming back.
