Visited: Friday, June 13th, 2025 We decided to check this place out, and overall, it was a solid experience with a lot of potential! Here's the full scoop Ambiance: There's a nice amount of outdoor seating with a chill vibe. Inside, the space is cozy and clean--nothing fancy, but definitely inviting. I loved that the buffet is behind glass and served by staff --much more hygienic than your typical buffet setup. Pricing: Shoutout to them for offering a senior buffet price of $9.99, compared to the regular $16.99. That's super appreciated when you're dining out with parents or older relatives . Drinks: We ordered jugo de maracuyá (passionfruit juice). The flavor was there, but the pulp kept floating to the top, so the texture was a little odd. Still refreshing though! Food Experience: My mom started with the buffet and felt the food was lukewarm--not cold, but definitely not hot either . No heat lamps or lids on the trays might be the reason. Thankfully, the manager, Jesús, was amazing and open to feedback. He told us the place is under new ownership (just a few months in), so I'm hopeful improvements are coming. My husband also had the buffet and really enjoyed the rice and beans --well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Mar y Tierra mofongo platter , which came with: Garlic shrimp, Steak, Arroz con gandules, Fresh salad, And oddly... beans, even though the rice already had pigeon peas? The mofongo was great, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The steak and garlic sauce were both flavorful but unfortunately super salty--I couldn't finish it. The dish itself could definitely feed two people though! Dessert Letdown: I asked for tres leches cake, and I'm so glad I've learned to smell it before digging in. The milk had definitely gone bad . It's tricky with that kind of dessert since it spoils quickly if not stored right, since it consists of three different milks. Service: Top-notch. Jesús (manager) was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience. Cris, our waitress, was sweet and attentive--she kept our table spotless and always checked if we needed refills or anything else. 10/10 for service --- Final Verdict: Great service Clean and comfortable setting Good flavors (but watch the salt) Affordable for seniors Just needs better temperature control and fresher desserts Would I come back? This place has good points and bad points so 3 stars averaged them out. Atmosphere was adorable and seemed authentic. The music and decor is just cute. The one server, who seemed very pleasant, spoke no English so the ordering was very difficult. We couldn't even make one ounce of headway with the language barrier. Luckily a customer come to our rescue. . I ended up just saying we want what he has. and with his help, we got our order in. The food was very good. We enjoyed the flavors of the food. The Leche cake was very good. The biggest thing was there wasn't any prices anywhere. We had no idea how much things cost. There is just a chalk board with the food selections. So 1 entree, 1 dessert cake, 2 waters cost $26 without tip. I'm not sure if we will return. read more

My husband & I were so excited to try the food here. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The place was clean and decorated well. The service was excellent. We ordered the chicken empanada and alcapurria, so delicious! We ordered the mar y Tierra mofongo with arroz con gandules. And the mofongo with pollo guisado with arroz con gandules. Two stars because it's a mixed bag. The people who work here are extremely nice and atmosphere is very nice. However, the food is so expensive and prices definitely vary by who is serving you. I paid 20 dollars! For what you see in the picture. I felt like the employee was rationing out the meat portion. There is no set standard for servings and they are unnecessarily overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to justify sub par food for the price. Will not be returning. read more

We were desperate to locate a restaurant that featured Spanish and Latin dishes. This restaurant used to be a Greek restaurant that served outstanding Greek cuisine! It now houses this outstanding vast array of delicious Spanish food. Upon patronizing this restaurant,we were so delighted to see and smell what they had to offer. The food is placed like buffet style,except it is separated by a glass enclosure and the staff plates the food that you pick. The food can be eaten in or taken out. The food is absolutely delicious. They offer generous portions,along with also featuring desserts. Although the food we selected was great,the beef empanada was very bland and tasteless. This item I will not purchase again. The most unhappy issue that I experienced was the charges for take out, which was extremely expensive,and they expected a tip for the take out!! read more

That's really funny how y'all want to lie and say we was there eating for 45 minutes all you can eat considering we each had one plate and didn't eat most of what was on our plate. Wasn't given any refills and my son almost ate raw meat from y'all. I even brought it to your "wife's" attention and she tried to argue with me about it. Oh and if you actually knew anything you would know it wasn't just us eating more people was with us. Maybe get your facts right before you try to make someone a liar. I understand trying to save your business but we are not homeless we would have been fine eating and leaving while not getting our money back if your service and food wasn't complete trash!!! Great to have a Puerto Rican restaurant in town. The food was excellent! Authentic dishes and variety of food ready made, buffet style, for a quick in and out. Specialty dishes are also available (like the Mofongo) but they take time to prepare as they are freshly made to order and therefore there was a wait but it was well worth it! We ordered the Mofongo with shrimp creole and the Mofongo al Ajillo (garlic style). We also ordered rice cooked with pink beans and yuca as an "appetizer" while we waited. They also have empanadas and alcapurrias as appetizers. They also make; in-house, the typical Puertorrican; bread (pan Sobao) which was nice and hot. Deserts are available we ordered the "quesito" pastry filled with sweet cheese; delicious! We will definitely go back. read more

First off let me start with this... food was super authentic and tasty. We had the sampler and it was incredibly fresh. The empanadas, papa rellenas, alcapurrias and the sorrullos were all great! Definitely a must. We were four and we ordered the sampler only for two and it was more than enough. We also had plates with the meat and 2 sides. Food was really well seasoned/fresh and the arroz con gandules were perfect. The only criticism I would give is the the atmosphere of the establishment(and why I couldn't give 5 stars) is when you hear the word Chinchorro and you have been to PR, you associate it with a vibrant atmosphere. Sadly, that was NOT the case here. It was quiet even with other customers in the restaurant. There was no music, no good energy, and not even the regular chatter you would find at a normal restaurant. We were disappointed with the vibe. We hoped that energy would've matched with the food, especially on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon. All in all, we will definitely order food from here again but not sure we will dine in. The food was good, but beware there are no prices posted anywhere including the menu. I had an iced tea with my skirt steak and my friend did the same thing. The waitress came around and asked if we would like more tea and we both said yes. When we went to the register to pay we found out that iced tea is $4.50 per person and refills are not free. So it was $18 for two people to have iced tea. This is ridiculous. If you are going to charge double what anyone else in town charges for iced tea and not include free refills like everyone else in town does. You should make the customers aware of this. As we were eating our meal we both discussed that we would come back sometime but after feeling gouged at the register for some ice tea we will never go back. I decided to order a couple empanadas and alcapurrias just to give a shot thinking "they can't mess up a simple empanada" but they actually did. They burned those things. Very god food and super nice owners. The Cuban is why we went and it was amazing!! The only thing holding us back from returning to try other things there is the lack of English spoken by other servers, lack of pricing on menu and the menu is an absolute mess. read more

Ordered the pork and shrimp mofongo. Pork was tasteless, super hard to chew, mofongo was extremely dry and rinds were really chewy. The only good thing was the shrimp, tasty and well seasoned. A bit pricey for lunch meal with just a tiny bland salad of lettuce and tomato, no dressing offered. Friends recommended this place but said I ordered their worse plate. Should've asked for something simple like empanadas or bacalaitos and arroz con gandules which my friend liked. read more
