The food was delicious! Tastes just like a home cooked meal! The service was phenomenal!! Best Latin food in the state!

If you are traveling through like we were and want fresh good food, this is it. This is not your southern bbq. It is Latin American. Wide choice of proteins. The chicken was wonderful. It was perfection. Not spicy. Everything was good. They know how to cook pinto beans. Two of us split this meal and it was more than enough. Service was great. Support small businesses like this.

I saw someone's review in a foodie group and thought about the beef empanadas for hours until I could get there! 100/100! The empanadas come with this incredible, creamy sauce that is so flavorful. I honestly, everything was flavorful and delicious! The beans were perfectly stewed, the ribs fell right off the bone, and the pasta was amazing. Everyone was very nice and the restaurant is very clean. A perfect place for family or to-go. Can't wait to go back!

Beef short ribs-So well seasoned and love to nibble around the bones!

Food was excellent and a little pricey but good quality! I got the beef short ribs, my mom got the half chicken we both had the stir fry veggies and I had yellow rice (which was kinda bland) and she had maduros! The owner served us and she was extra nice to my mom and is a very generous proprietor. I'd absolutely recommend this place!

No matter where I travel, I'm always in search of good BBQ. On my last 2 trips to the area, I stopped by Rosa's. Both times, the place was clean, the customer service was awesome and the food delicious. Parking is also abundant...only steps from the door. First visit I got the pork spare ribs, mixed vegetables and fries. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. On the second visit, I got the pork chop, yellow rice and the vegetable stir fry. Although the pork was slightly overcooked, it was still delicious. This has become an easy dinner solution for my visits and I'll definitely be back.

Hidden Gem Tucked behind a car wash and next door to a bar on Reidville Rd , this place is a true gem . Walked in for the 1st time, I asked a group of 6 people what's good - reply was "everything". The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating , moved from NJ I found out. I ordered the combo of grilled pork chop, Puerto Rican rice, & maduros(plantains). The pork was sooooo flavorful - I tasted vinegar, Sofritos (maybe), and achiote. Very juicy and tender. The rice with pieces of meat was to die for. Plantains were cooked perfectly . Got an order of empanadas to go and same comment - delicious . I'm sure I'm coming back here to try the other things in the menu . It's not cheap but hey , I will pay for good food . Thank you for making my Saturday lunch a great one . I rarely give 5-stars on my Yelp review and this is a definite ! Family cooking at it's best .

Rosa's is a Latin American Restaurant located in a strip mall behind Walgreens on Reidville Road. Inside is small with around 6 tables. Everyone there is amazingly friendly and welcoming. The food is freshly prepared on charcoal grills by Rosa. When you enter the large menu is painted on the wall. You order at the register and pay. Your food is brought to your table if you are dining inside. They have a large carry out business as well. This was our first visit so we tried 2 different meals. They have family platters, combo platters and plates. We had salmon, yellow rice and stir fried veggies. BBQ pork ribs, Puerto Rican Rice, and stir fried veggies on the two plates. The salmon was delicious and a little spicy. The yellow rice so good and the stir fried veggies included zucchini, onion, bell pepper, string beans, snow peas, carrots. They have a fresh lemony flavor to them. Not too much. Very good. The BBQ Pork Spare Ribs (6 ribs) were very good. The BBQ seasoning is more of a rub and a little sauce. I really liked the Puerto Rican Rice as well. The portions are huge! We will split a plate on our next visit but we did bring home enough for another meal. There are so many things to order I look forward to returning. I recommend Rosa's.

The food was delicious! The woman who took our order was very sweet and attentive. This place is definitely a hidden gem...

However, my plans changed when I saw the menu. Instead I tried a Wagyu burger. They have five different Wagyu burgers and I settle on the one closest to a cheeseburger. It had been a long time since I had one and I was way overdue. It was delicious. For my side I tried the collard greens. They offer five different sauces to spike the collards with, but I chose to eat them with the way they came out of the kitchen - a vinegar-based splash of heat. I could've eaten a bowl of them, they too were delicious. It was a bit after lunch so it wasn't very busy. The bartender was knowledgeable about the menu, sides, entrees, apps, and sauces which helped with making my decisions prompt. The front of house is setup to handle families and groups of friends with booths and 6-top tables, however the place may fill up fast. Based on the amount of missing merch, many folks try and like and appreciate this place. Parking could be tricky, but there's more public parking on the streets than most towns I've visited, so be patient looking for on-street parking and if necessary one could use the parking garage close to the cordoned-off block where some great food on this block lives. Enjoy!
