This is better! A non-assuming place on Hillsborough, plenty of parking, we sat in a booth before the place filled up. Ordered and had a lovely meal! I had the churasco and my friend had the filet. I would come back any day... Funny thing, I saw they have a food truck and it was parked in a parking lot not far from me, but a little far from the restaraunt... I might be able to go sooner rather than later! Not sure the food truck has a separate page, but when I visit it, I will either update this review or get a chance to review their other page. First time eating here. We were a group of 4 so we shared all of the sides which allowed us to enjoy more options. The sweet corn is not sweet, it is more like street corn with spices added. It was good but the description needs to be changed so there is no confusion. Black beans and the garlic rice were spit on good. I personally did not like the Fried Yuca but everyone else loved it (2 orders) so maybe don't trust my taste buds in that. I ordered the 1lb of meat and only ate 1/2. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to my desired temperature. The ambiance was casual so don't expect to have a romantic dinner. They have inside and outside seating but are located right in Hillsborough Ave so outside will be a little noisy depending on the time of day. The service staff was spit on. I ordered the half pound of filet mignon, they gave me a small 4oz filet, I showed the lady and told her that's only a 4oz, I've been coming here forever and I know what the half pound looks like. This food truck is located on Armenia Avenue, just south of Hillsborough Avenue, where my favorite Mexican food truck used to be located. I was surprised when I pulled in the parking lot to see this truck here, but I decided to give them a try. #1 tip - ORDER AHEAD. Food really does take forever - my bacon wrapped chicken took about 25 minutes. And while it was good, it was a pretty small portion when compared to the cost. I was expecting a chicken breast or two wrapped with bacon, and what I got was similar to six grilled chicken nuggets wrapped with bacon. I would definitely get something different if I return. I did like both the yuca fries and the tostones I had as my two sides. The other thing I'm not a fan of is when you pay by credit card, the next screen that pops up is to tip them 15% and up. The only other option is "other amount", which takes you to the next screen to fill in what tip you want. I always tip in cash when I order at food trucks, and I think it's incredibly rude to essentially make it mandatory for you to tip them if you pay by credit card. Since they are located in a parking lot, there is plenty of parking. A few umbrella-covered picnic tables are in front of the truck if you want to eat there. We were looking for something a little less formal but more bang for our buck. The garlic rice was delicious. My bf got the Tostones Gauchos Picanha and devoured it. I got the Brazilian Sandwich with chorizo sausage. It was very very good. The bread is just *chefs kiss*. They do offer some bottled and canned drinks. Presentation was great. It is about 4.5 stars for the food. You need to be patient because they need time to cook your order. Grilled meat need time to complete perfectly. If you don't want to wait, you can order ahead of time for pick up when you arrive. The wait is 20 minutes. We have the Tostones Gauchos with picanha. The tostone has to with cheese, salsa with fry berries. The picanha was grilled perfectly with the order. The seasoning is there. Tostone are very crisply fried. We also got the half pound combo with two sides. The protein we have selected is the Lomo de Cerdo. The pork was grilled correctly. Love it. The two side includes cord and garlic rice. The garlic rice was well prepared with garlic fragrance. Our experience here is perfect. Definitely recommend to revisit. Next time we want to try their Churrasco and other side. read more

This is a small Brazilian food truck that is parked next to a PJ Liquors (one story blue-green store on the northbound side of Dale Mabry near Humphrey street) There is parking shared with the liquor store but I parked between the liquor store and the red building. They take credit card/debit card. (It does not state this on the website) I got the mixed grill , which consisted of 1 lb of chicken, chorizo, churrasco (flap), and picanha (Top sirloin).it also came with one side-. I picked mashed potatoes. Mashed Potato- Actually homemade and not some instant packet stuff that is overly smooth. There is butter, garlic and chunks of real potato in there As a gringo, It is nice to see MP in a meat centric place. 4/5 The meat was were super juicy and flavorful. I wish there was a little more, but the quality was there. Yes there is a little oil in the box (Title of your sex tape) but ill take that over the food being overly dry. They ask you the level of "doneness" before cooking. Of the various meats, the picanha was my favorite. 5/5 Since this is a food truck , there are just 4 picnic style tables. It was rainy so I took it home. If you like meat, this trumps some sit-down places here and is worth your time. GO GO GO! read more

Because I ordered a churrasco from El Churrascaso Grill and I'm pretty stoked about it. --- --- --- Driving by on Dale Mabry, I recently saw this new food truck and really didn't need to know anything else once I saw that it was called El Churrascaso. About 96.4% of the time when I see Churrasco steak on the menu, that's what I'm ordering. And I was not let down when I did so here. The quality of this steak really felt like a level-up from the typical churrasco. I don't know how to scientifically explain that. I just know that as I was eating it, it tasted like it was a higher quality cut of meat than the usual. Can steaks be fresher? If so, this one was. The rice and beans I ordered on the side were just okay. But I didn't come here for the rice and beans. I came for the churrasco and the churrasco served me quite well. Next time, I'm going to try my churrasco on a Brazilian sandwich. And some cheese bread. And some dessert. I'll probably make my way through the whole menu soon enough! read more

This food truck is unique in that it aims to give you the taste experience of a Brazilian steakhouse. Someone recommended that I try this spot out so I went for it. The food and the customer service were both ok. I've been to a Brazilian steakhouse in Brazil and to a couple locally so I compare those experiences to this one. At those other spots the food was better and so was the customer service, but they were also much pricier so as the adage goes, "you get what you pay for". With that being said, this place isn't the cheapest, but you pay may $20-$25 (for lamb chops meal and drink) total vs. $50+ for an experience at a Brazilian steakhouse. I ordered the lamb chops and 2 sides for around $17.99. The lamb chops themselves were pretty tasty. They were cooked to order and cooked as I requested. I loved the way they seasoned the meat. The mashed potatoes we ok. They aren't something I would order again. The garlic rice was good. They were lacking in costumer service. To me it felt like one of those spots where they already expect you to know wat you want when you arrive. i had to ask a couple of questions and the original person could not answer the questions (maybe because of a language barrier), but the cook came to the front to answer my question of how to order (it being my firs time) and he seemed sort of annoyed. Bottom line...would I recommend this food truck experience? I would say go with the expectation that the meats are tasty, but everything else is just ok. They also have outside seating.The food was favorable and fulfilling. I got the Picanha Tostones Gauchos and it was amazing. The meat was made to perfection and the tostones nice and crispy. This place is always busy during high peak times especially Friday and Saturday and I know why now. I'm glad I got a chance to check out the delicious food and experience. OMG This was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious! Everything was good. My friend had been telling me about this place (it's on Hillsborough, not the Food Truck, permanent location here). She was not lying. She has been here and tried the sausage, chicken, and steak and loves them all. She brought her kids here and now they bring their spouses here. This is ridiculously good. I got the Toston Gaucho with churrasco. This is churrasco on top of tostones, but wait.... on top of the tostones is melted feta, tomatoes, cranberries, and green onions. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Soooo good! I tried the lemonade and garlic rice and it was also the best lemonade I'd ever had. The rice was not super garlicky, but it was also a bit like Thai rice (which I love). For the Toston Gaucho, you can choose 1/4 pound of your protein choice, but they also have Family Style meals where you can choose 1/2 or 1 or 2 pounds of protein with sides. They automatically put chimichurri and hot sauce on the table for you. I already told one friend about this place and I'm going back every time I'm in Town n Country. It's on the North side of Hillsborough between Webb and Memorial/ Sheldon. You won't find it on their website just yet. Amazing Food and service! The Picanha medium rare is tender and seasoned well. This is better than the ones I've had at Terra Guacha and Texas De Brazil. The tequeños and cheese bread are fantastic as well. 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because they are new, and it's not their fault that I'm on a diet. El Churrascaso Grill is a food truck that bravely serves up Brazilian BBQ within its confines. I was able to see inside the truck, and they have the traditional Brazilian BBQ swords to spear the meat as it is cooking. Meat is cooked to order and then carved from the sword. I had the picanha. It came with two sides. Being on a keto diet, I could only order the salad. I went with a double order of the kale "Greek" salad (the other option was a kale Caesar salad). The other sides certainly looked better to me, but they were all too carb-y. The meat was excellent. I asked for it to be medium rare, and it was. The smell was heavenly as I was driving home. It was well seasoned, even better with the chimichurri sauce, and melted in the mouth. The "Greek" salad was fine. I guess it was "greek" because it had feta cheese and cucumbers? But they added dried cranberries, which was a random choice, and there weren't any olives or bell peppers. I would have preferred the salad undressed, but kale is hearty, so it wasn't too soggy by the time I got home (alas, the tomatoes and cucumbers did not fare as well with the prolonged Greek dressing exposure and were pretty mealy). The food truck is currently in South Tampa on Henderson, just north of Swann. There are a few tables (with umbrellas) outside and lots of parking in the private lot. Been here 3 times. The meat is so tender and delicious. I prefer the Churrasco, my wife prefers the other steak. Both are delicious and the chimichurri hits the spot. The tostones are also excellent.
