Delicious food that is always consistent The staff is well trained and helpful The staff brings around a variety meat on skewers and serves you table side until you send them away There is also a hot and cold bar where you can find salads and hot foods to accompany the meat Great splurge for a special occasion as the meal can be a bit pricy Atmosphere is fun and engaging

    Father's Day eats!

First time I've been to this spot. It's Father's Day so of course they were busy, but all the meat was always coming out hot. It's a very nice restaurant, with low lighting seating inside and bright lighting outside. We chose to sit outside and were so glad we did. We were seated closely to the fan(s) and we were cool the whole meal. They offer a full salad buffet, and charcuterie selection; they also have a "Hot" plate self serve buffet. What was confusing to me; was the process of the eating part, and it wasn't explained correctly. We were told the buffet would be where we get our "sides" so we grabbed them and sat at our table. As soon as we sat down all the protein l (meats) came out rapidly, from Bacon Wrapped Chicken l, to a Filet Mignon from all the meat servers, pretty much in 5 min increments, and that is totally fine, just overwhelming. After I got done eating (which I thought was everything we already ate) was told, our "sides" were coming out; which was garlic mashed potatoes, fries and fried bananas. -All delicious, but we were stuffed at this point. Drinks were delicious, but they came out very slow. Trying to pay and leave is delayed. Again, it's a holiday so there is grace from my experience. I will still return, now that I know the food process. It was delicious, and customer service was delightful.

I'm in the area, so I decided to dine at one of my favorite restaurants. This location for Texas de Brazil is definitely one of a kind. Wilson was our waiter, and he was super nice and attentive. I love the salad bar, so I didn't eat any meat. My husband loves both, so he had the salad bar and the full course with all the meats and salad bar. I don't do well with all you can eat. Lol! I eat once and get really full. My husband ate pork, chicken, steak and sausage. Everything was lovely, and we're definitely full. We will be back, soon. :-)

Everything here was ok. Service is good. Interior is nice. I like Tierra Gaucha better.

This place impressed me. Inside was nice with friendly, and attentive staff. Large selection of items from salad bar. Meats were cooked to perfection at a medium rare. Waiter stated if you wanted it cooked longer to just let the servers with the meat know so they can keep it in the fire longer. Their beef ribs had to be the best tasting offered. All of the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I wish we had one in the Bay Area. Not sure what happened to the one that used to be in Concord. Parking is ample.

Lucky score on the no wait during the Holiday season. My group sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather, a salad a taste of the sides and finally the MEATS. Seasoned to perfection and sizzling hot. I've always like any Brazil I've visited. From the service to the cleanliness- the appeal never gave "buffet" so I'll always be back!

Yep, took my wife and daughter-in-law out to this place while visiting in Tampa. We will definitely go to this place again. Actually, we're already planning to check out the one in West Palm as it's much closer to where we live. What I really like besides the food, ambiance, service, etc is that they had patrons there dressed casually, even in shorts and tees. But the staff were all decked out. Was really nice. Felt like a celebrity. And the salad bar was effing AWESOME. Then the meats... just kept coming. Leg of lamb, lamb chops, sirloin tips, filet mignon, roasted parmigiana chicken, etc etc etc. Everything was delicious. Our virgin pina colodas were top notch. Smooth and creamy. The price is up there. Was $249 for three people plus the tip. But it was WORTH IT. You're going to eat too much and the quality of meats is way up. Prepared extremely well. Would have been a lot more if we'd gotten alcoholic drinks. But we're not drinkers so didn't get hit with the prices. If you want to have a wonderful dining experience and even dress in your shorts and tees shirt, just go. Splurge. Live today so you don't regret it in the future when you're old and can't get out anymore because your nurse won't let you.

    Is your meat halal?

Thanks for reaching out! We do not serve kosher meat and only our lamb is halal. However, we use the same skewers to cook all meats, including pork. Therefore, although we buy halal lamb, the cooked lamb is not considered halal because of the way we…

Do they offer to go? If so, how are the portions determined?

They offer to go and I believe its by pound

Does this place allow you to take left overs home?

    No, they do not.

What's the difference between dinner and lunch?

The difference is smaller meat and salad area selections served. But lunch is also at a reduced cost as well

What does the price of dinner include? Just the meats and salad bar with the sides being À la cart?

Meats and salad bar is priced together or just the salad bar.

    Is the lunch menu different?

Hello, during lunch we differ from dinner in that we do not offer filet mignon, lamb chops, or ribs along with a few variations among our salad area. Both are still a delicious churrasco experience!

Does anyone know the prices? I went onto their website but could not find it at all. Thanks in advances.

I think its abt $60 per person for dinner

Can we bring our own wine?

Yes, where state law allows, wine may be brought into the restaurant. Please contact the Tampa location directly to confirm current laws: 813.871.1400

Does the price included all the side dishes and desserts?

Side dishes are included but not desserts.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, loved the esthetics. The service was exceptional! My glass was always filled and I appreciated the attention. I wasn't too fond of the hot/cold salad bar. While the selection was large, the quality wasn't there. For instance, the meat in the fried rice was overcooked. The pork belly tasted as if it was sitting there for a while. Shrimp salad had good flavor but too many shells in the salad. Roasted garlic was still crunchy/not cooked through. Few of the signs were mislabeled. The bacon covered jalapeño poppers were labeled as brown sugar bacon. That completely took me by surprise because it was quite HOT! In conclusion, I was expecting the same level of attentiveness for the food selections as I received with the service.

I have no idea how they "get away" with charging such prices for their beef, chicken, lamb served with "sticky rice" (by the way on my trips to Brazil, I do not recall EVER getting lousy sticky rice - normally it is a Jasmine variety that is delicious and never sticky!) Also Black beans and a small assortment of side sauces that were decent. Oh and very soft Pao de Queso... one of my all time favorites, very much UNDERCOOKED - but I still liked it, due to the difference in cooking style. I have always had Pau de Queso well baked, with a hard crusty outer shell and a soft inner cheesy delightful center! Ani was the waitress, she is Cuban, while the remainder of the staff appears to be Brazilian, not sure, did not have the opportunity to ask. Ani worked her butt off, while the 4 others stood around watching. I hated that I had the sense of prejudice, maybe my "American" sensitivities were set off? I am a conservative, usually not looking for such BS, but this just seemed to be a bit obvious. Albeit the initial amount of people dining was 5 tables with an average of 4... she was able to do her job, but at the sacrifice of timely service to tables. The "ambiance" is fine, nothing truly distinguishes this as a Brazilian restaurant; I have been to Brazil 6 times, there restaurants do not really have anything distinguishable. Except the road side Churrasco - or those inside wayfaring gas stations... always loved those set ups! After sitting and being served for 1.5 hour, the people started to come in... and the place was full of families having a good meal! The other staff finally stepped up and did a good job! All of the staff were congenial, engaging and proactively serving, once the crowd showed up. Do I recommend this place? Yes, but only for an event where you seek a casual ambiance, decent food, pretty good service and you want a less expensive (albeit still expensive) alternative to the "high falooting" Brazilian Steakhouses like Rodizio or Texas de Brazil... those are off the charts!

I suggest you do not sleep on the escargot. It was perfect and the gazpacho style soup was wayyyy better than their,in my opinion, burnt French onion soup. (We came at the end of the night, so chalk that up to being literally one of the last guests). Wine list was INSANE and the cellar tour was one of the highlights of my year it was amazing to see so many old and relived bottles and some of the rarest in the world. This experience alone is why I give it 5 stars. I don't think my waygu filet was waygu- no marbling and it was not buttery at all we actually boxed it up immediately because it was not cooked med rare, but we were sharing a plate so, whatever. Kitchens seem to hate when people share but I have a special need and cannot eat large portions like that so, it was not us being cheap. We wanted to go to the dessert room, and so I wanted to save my last few bites for that. Food was basic in my opinion- but it was a grand experience and the server and very attentive and kind It was strange but they add 13% (didn't seem enough in my experience) to the bill, we added more, but didn't understand the feez?? I want to always leave a good tip but I didn't know if it was a "service fee" or if it was for the server it was not fully explained. (Hope he got the full tip.) Upstairs was the dessert room, the nostalgia of this was heavenly. A phone on the wall you can call the pianist and request a song. It was amazing. The flourless chocolate sundae---- OMG so good. The tiny but tasty brandy Alexander for the price it should have been much creamier and more than 2oz of whatever it was it didn't have all of the ingredients in it as described, but hey I still give this place 5 stars because it is kinda like a brothel meets the haunted mansion meets/ your grandmas house. So it was definitely unique and worth the over 400$ bill I just wish they would explain what their "service fee is" and when you order waygu- don't send out a regular filet to a person, who is a chef. It's insulting and really not what a company should do. Again, we were the last guests of the night we booked late on purpose, and start to finish this place was fascinating. The truffled tar tar was also very good. We had apps, wine, drinks dessert, steaks, salads, soups our waitstaff made up for the kitchens error on the cut of meat and we still at it next day. Fascinating is the word I think of for this Tampa favorite. I will go back but skip the meal and have appetizers, wine, and dessert. Hope they don't mind that.
