Loved this place! I'm always looking for good food in Tampa so I was happy to have found this Brazilian restaurant. First off, the waitress was extremely kind and friendly. She welcomed us in with a warm smile, and explained the items on the menu. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the World Cup. My partner and I ended up ordering the pao de queso, Picanha that comes with 2 sides - we opted for the corn and the cous cous salad. Everything was 5/5 - the cheese balls were delicious - and the sweet sauce that comes with it paired with it tasted surprisingly well. The meat was flavorful and tender, and paired well with the waitress' side recommendations. Even though I could have eaten more of the delicious meat, it was just the right amount of food to not make me feel too full. Visited on a weeknight and this place was pretty empty. The restaurant itself is nice inside and the waitress quickly came over to bring menus and get us situated. We ordered an appetizer and it came out super quick. The ham croquettes had good flavor and the sauce it came with was also good. They were kind of small but I think one order brought 8 pieces. We ordered the 2lb parrilla (mixed grill) and this came with all the meats; chicken, pork, sausage and two types of steak with two sides. We opted for the rice and beans and added an extra side of fried yuca. We were a party of 4 and this was more than plenty because we still ended up taking leftovers. Overall I wasn't to impressed with the meat I feel that it was lacking seasoning. Even the green sauce on the side was kind of flavorless. I was really expecting more flavor from this since this is what they are known for. They did cook it perfectly how we asked. The yuca fries were ok but I've had better. Our bill came out to a little over $100 without tip so for the price range I was expecting a little more. We had one app - one 2lb grill - 3 sides and 4 can sodas. I went here with my family this afternoon for a late lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed! The meat is seasoned and cooked amazing. The couscous salad was flavorful , fries crispy, and rice garlicy. The service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself is simple and clean- with outdoor seating as well. We really enjoyed the food and will be back! I went on a Monday night with my family and the table fit all ten of us comfortably. I ordered the red sangria, lamb chops, avocado, white rice, black beans and their Greek salad. It took about 30 minutes to get our food and the servers were not attentive. We had to ask for water a few times and there were even a few times we had to get up if we needed condiments. My sangria was not as sweet as I had hoped, but my lamb chops, rice, black beans and avocado were amazing. The greek salad had an overwhelming amount of dried cranberries in it making it uneditable. I got the churrasco with garlic rice and yuca frites and it was a huge portion and everything was flavorful and delicious. On Saturday, I went with my parents, my boyfriend, and my little sister to El Churrascaso Grill Tampa. We drove an entire hour just to get there because this place had always meant something special to me. I had been there three times before, and every time we left happy, full, and satisfied. The 1-pound parrillada was always abundant, delicious, and worth the trip. I even recommended this place to family members because I truly believed it was a restaurant that cared about quality, and everyone I sent loved it. That's why our excitement to return was huge. I never imagined that excitement would turn into one of the worst disappointments I've ever had at a restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything started going downhill. We waited more than 30 minutes for the food, and although that already felt excessive, I tried to stay patient thinking, "Well, at least it will be worth it." But when the parrilladas finally arrived, the server only brought two, even though I had clearly ordered three. I said two medium-well for my parents and one medium for me, and I even used my fingers to avoid confusion. Still, my mom was left with no food, literally staring at her empty plate while the rest of us were served. That moment broke my heart because, as a daughter, you never want to see your mom embarrassed or left without food--especially during a family outing that is supposed to be pleasant. And ordering another parrillada meant waiting another 30 minutes. Impossible. But what came next is what truly left me with a deep sense of anger and disappointment: the portions. What they served us as "1 pound" wasn't even close to what I remembered. Each parrillada had four tiny pieces of meat, one sausage, and two little pieces of chicken--tiny pieces, like scraps cut off at the end, with no complete cuts, no churrasco, nothing that justified the price. I counted the pieces in disbelief, feeling like they were playing with us. A man next to us even said the same thing--that it wasn't even close to a pound. That external validation confirmed that it wasn't bad luck: it was disrespect. I felt they were taking advantage of the good faith of their customers. A family outing is supposed to be something nice, a moment to enjoy together, but they managed to ruin it with their carelessness, disorganization, and complete lack of consideration. And when my dad asked for his second Heineken, what happened completely discouraged me. The server said they were out, and wouldn't have any until Wednesday. How can a restaurant run out of such a basic beer on a Saturday at 8 p.m.? I've worked in restaurants, and I know what happens: management moves, sends someone to buy more, finds solutions. The minimum is to try, but here there was no intention, no empathy, and no effort. It felt as if they didn't care at all that we were having a bad night. It's sad to feel unvalued after so many previous visits. The manager came, but only to apologize for the server bringing two plates instead of three. And although the gesture was polite, it was impossible to ignore everything she didn't mention: - the ridiculous portions, - the long wait, - the lack of beer, - the indifferent attitude, - and the clear feeling that our experience didn't matter to them. She gave us a $37 credit for the missing plate, but that doesn't erase the ruined night or the disappointment. We left hungry, sad, and with the feeling that we had wasted time, money, and a night that could have been beautiful. And that hurts. We went with love to a restaurant we once considered special, and we found the complete opposite. This place used to be one of my favorites. Now, after this experience, I will never return, and I already told my family not to go either. The quality, service, portions, and management have fallen so much that all I'm left with is a deep feeling of disappointment. El Churrascaso why must you hurt my heart like so. Now I love me a good Brazilian bbq because they do it with love but did I feel love here? No !!! My meat was tougher than my college exam and that is unacceptable. I had to spit out like 40 percent and that amount of gristle should not exist in any restaurant. For the price point I could've gotten me a nice steak at Texas road house and some cinnamon butter rolls. Maybe it was an off night but there are a few pros , first the chimichurri is excellent and secondly the seasoning was good but texture?! Went last Friday, this was my 4th visit to the restaurant. The 2lbs with the sides of yuca frita and garlic rice are a must get. The picanha was very tender, and the chicken was amazing. Thanks to the nice server that was quick to get us Sangria's and espresso. The Rihanna and other music was a nice touch. Will definitely come again. read more

For some reason we decided to try this place again, but it was worse than the last time. We ordered the meat medium well and received medium rare. There was more fat in the picanha than meat. We complained and were told the owner tells them they must sell the fat as well. I am from Brazil and I have never heard of anyone eating the fat, the only purpose of the fat is to add flavor and it must be trimmed, which they do not do. We will not be going back ever. read more

Second time at this Brazilian/Argentinean style grill with a bit of central american fusion. I am Argentinean and although the flavors are off a bit, I will continue coming here and I do recommend the experience to all the non-Hispanics in the area. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get and the portions are just perfect. The red meats are grilled to perfection and taking into account how well cooked you like them. My wife is a medium well taste and I don't do bloody meat, just well done...yes, and I am Argentinean. Anyhow, the mash potatoes are delicious, their appetizer cheese bread balls remind me of the Paraguayan Chipa and are great, their kale salads are amazing. On both of our visits we left delighted. Last Saturday the April 6th me and my husband went to this place and waited at the stand for the host so we could be seated. We waited about 20 mins while all waitresses walk pass us without a word with seats available. Another Hispanic lady walks in and stands behind us and the hostess walks straight pass us directly to her. So as you can imagine we were bothered by that and asked her if we could be seated since we were here first. She told us that she would be with us in a minute after she seated the Hispanic lady with children. So I walked over to the cash register to ask her if anyone is going to seat us and she didn't understand what I said so I explained to her what the problem was. By this time the hostess finished her encounter with the Hispanic lady behind us and walked over to us and said I have your seat and I said that's not the point but never mind & I left.
