Our server came by quickly to ask for drinks before coming back and taking our order down. Our orders came with either a soup or salad, and we both chose the soup and were so happy with the taste, especially of the meatball in the soup. We ordered from the specials, getting the Spicy Enchiladas Verdes and the Enchiladas de Pollo con Mole. The Enchiladas verdes tasted very fresh, with a delicious chicken filling paired nicely with the fresh lettuce and tomatoes alongside the spicy verde sauce. The Enchiladas with Mole were very earthy. I was so excited because it was my first time trying mole and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I will say that it has a strong, savory, earthy flavor when I first tried the sauce by itself, but it pairs so perfectly with the filling of the enchiladas, rice, and beans. So delicious! We both had leftovers to take home, which reheated very nicely. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again, so we really recommend this spot!

There was an unexpected issue with the food order for my best friend's celebration, and we had over 150 hungry guests waiting to be fed. Yolanda and the El Zarape team immediately stepped up and somehow managed to prepare enough food for everyone in a little over an hour!
