TRY THE INDIAN TACO! Yes, that's what it's called, it's a tasty blend of Native American and Mexican cuisine. It's a large fry bread w/ ground beef, pico de gallo, sour cream, and beans. It's so good, it's like an elevated Taco Bell item, combined with fry bread that tastes like a Mexican bolillo. El Comal's entire menu was very enticing, I'm happy I got to try their food on this trip to Soboba! I also highly recommend the mulitas, the meat was juicy and the tortillas are very tasty. El Comal can be found in the food hall section of the casino next to the Soboba Pub. I suggest visiting if you're looking for something economical and delicious. It's a very popular spot and fills up fast in the evening. There's a lot of tables in front of this eatery, so don't underestimate this place if it seems quiet. El Comal also has unique dessert items like churro donuts for those who need to satisfy their sweet tooth after the main course. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful. This place seems understaffed yet they still make do! Salsa, condiments and drinks need to be requested to an employee. Everything is behind the counter minus cutlery. I got a teeny bottle of water for $1.00 to cleanse my palate. El Comal is a fusion spot with cool menu items, I highly suggest trying it. If you're looking for tacos this is also a good place for that. The shrimp tacos look great!

This is the only Mexican cuisine open late at the casino so lines do get long . They do offer fast service . Tables are not maintained clean be prepared to clean up after yourself and others . Price is average . Always a hit or miss. Sometimes the meats are flavorful and freshly grilled and sometimes they are dry and bland. A good quick meal if you are feeling lucky and not a picky eater .

Place was clean and food was a good taste but the rice to my burrito was not cooked all the way. It was hard to bite into and ruined the food. Would not give it a chance again.

I'm at the Soboba Casino as part of a show performing here. I was so impressed with El Comal. Got two street style tacos thinking it wouldn't be enough, and they were so plentiful with amazing ingredients! They come with cilantro and onion. I did no onion, add shredded cheese and lettuce, so they were a bit larger than they probably normally would be, but wow. Both salsas are also amazing!

2 taco plate for $15 bucks!!?

Holly crap!! Worst tacos I've tasted in decades. Had to make it very spicy so I can at least taste the damn food. Rice and beans were nasty as well! Yuck! It was $15 for the plate. I wouldn't pay $2 for it!!

The interior of the restaurant is very bright and lively, with beautiful decor. We spent just a short amount of time sitting and looking around while eating some free chips and salsa. Our server came by quickly to ask for drinks before coming back and taking our order down. Our orders came with either a soup or salad, and we both chose the soup and were so happy with the taste, especially of the meatball in the soup. We ordered from the specials, getting the Spicy Enchiladas Verdes and the Enchiladas de Pollo con Mole. The Enchiladas verdes tasted very fresh, with a delicious chicken filling paired nicely with the fresh lettuce and tomatoes alongside the spicy verde sauce. The Enchiladas with Mole were very earthy. I was so excited because it was my first time trying mole and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I will say that it has a strong, savory, earthy flavor when I first tried the sauce by itself, but it pairs so perfectly with the filling of the enchiladas, rice, and beans. So delicious! We both had leftovers to take home, which reheated very nicely. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again, so we really recommend this spot!

Unfortunately, Emilio's has developed the bad habit of expecting customers to wait excruciatingly long for their food. I've come here twice for work functions and we were very dissatisfied with the slow service and poor customer service. Sometimes our drinks aren't even refilled! At this point, I don't even order when I'm here for a meeting, it's unbearable. I don't think Emilio's should host large groups if they can't handle the demand or lack the manpower. It's a classic case of stretching-yourself-thin and not knowing your limitations. It's a shame, the food is delicioso. Recommendations: Poquito de Todo (it's essentially an appetizer platter with "a little bit of everything." It comes with a portion of all of their appetizers (quesadillas, taquito, etc.)
