This food truck is tucked inside of Union Pool bar! Love the conveniency of the place. The queso was delicious. It was very creamy. Their chips were really good, too. It was nearly impossible to stop eating. The elote was average. I wish there was more flavor in the seasoning! The veggie quesadillas were nothing extravagant, but still enjoyable. I thought it was delicious paired with the green sauce. I would ask for more cheese to help keep the quesadilla together. That is just my personal preference, because I don't like getting food all over the place. I had to take a star off for price, though. My friend ordered "tacos" as labeled, but only received one taco. It was $4 for one taco. She was not mad about it it being one taco, but she was more upset that the menu insinuated there would be more than one.

The food was amazing!! Looking for a spot that's open late night, they have amazing pineapple lemonade and a variety of sauces (ask for chipotle mayo) 10/10. Staff was super friendly!

Don't let these west coast fools blather away - there is no Mexican food in the world that compares to CA - not even in Mexico. So to sit here and write how it isn't your LA tacos, is a waste of time. I'm sure we don't have hummus like they do in Tel-Aviv either (even though it's pretty close over there in the city at Pita & Hummus co.). That being said San Loco, El Diablo, & Vera Cruz are this neighborhood's holy trinity. Next to La Superior & Cerveceria are the backups (and very different). El Diablo is key to a hip spot, but they DO NOT play with their spicy like the others do. If you say SPICY be prepared to deal with the consequences. Tortas, chicken burritos w guac, chips and queso, and steak quesadillas? That's the way to order. We come here to grab food and bail all the time, not just when we're stumbling over after countless drinks at the bar. Been coming here over ten years, not a mistake.

When plans change and ur boy tells ya he knows of an awesome taco truck... you go to that awesome taco truck... leave all doubts aside and hope he was talking about El Diablo bcuz this place is a game changer. Monday night, spring has hit the air, walk in to what looks like a sketchy bar but turns out to be pretty chill relaxed vibe, bar tender totally awesome and happy hour till 9?? Sure, I'll have a margarita, as you walk further toward the back theirs doors that lead back outside to this closed off space, it's a pretty decent sized court yard with plenty of seating. Further toward the back there's... yup a taco truck!! Serving tamales quesadillas tortas and ELOTES!! So excited I ordered an al pastor taco and chicken quesadilla, the taco was definitely something to wanna come back for, it had a very traditional sweet from the pineapple tangy spice from the sauces and the meat was just delicious porky goodness. The quesadilla I wasn't so much of a fan for only because it had mushrooms and was like a stewed chicken, taste was good though just not what I was expecting. I think the best part was just hanging out in the back kept ordering more tacos and drinks and enjoying good company. Come 730pm and the night finally creeps to a pitch black and these overhead hanging lights turn on illuminating such a comfy atmosphere. And more people start flowing in, for a MONDAY... it was pretty packed. Def a great place to hangout after work, can't wait to see what it's like on the weekends.

Beef tostada, chicken and shrimp taco, and chicken tamale. Yummmm :)

Crunchy, savory, multi-layered beef tostada! The shrimp taco was my favorite, had a unique grilled flavor unlike all the other choices I had (beef, fish, chicken) Try the tamale too, simple chewy creamy corn dish if you're not into biting the Mexican corn on the cob. Great illustrations of skeleton buddies with all different personalities on the truck too.

You only get one first meal back from a big trip, and I desperately needed something different than rice noodles, fish sauce, and pork that had been flooding my stomach and arteries for the past 2 weeks. After getting in my first workout in what felt like a year, I walked out the Bond Street Equinox hungrier than a 2008 Kobe Bryant. It was right at this point that the smell of freshly grilled chicken graced my nostrils, along with the faint sound of Reggae hitting my ears. I whipped my head to the right and looked to the corner of Great Jones and Broadway, and there was a little canopy with a Jamaican guy cooking up some chicken on one of those huge barrel charcoal grills just vibing to some Reggae. I walked over and there was a concise menu and the name of the restaurant, "Simply Natural Grill House." Like an ark in a flood, god sent me Simply Natural Grill House. I saw the chicken falling off the bone as he cut it with a butcher knife, so I had no choice but to order a small jerk chicken plate platter ($13.99) that came with rice & peas, sweet plantains, and coleslaw. With a big smile on his face, he handed me the box and said "With love bradda." Vibes are so good here. How juicy, tender, and seasoned this chicken was needs to be studied. Damn I'm craving it again just thinking about it... The best Jamaican food I have had in NYC, although I'm not a Jamaican food connoisseur to be fair... Not yet. The Halal guy is very friendly with everyone in the neighborhood it seems. A woman walked up behind me and said hello to him. I just turned around and looked at her cause I heard a voice. She confronted me and said, "Why did you look at me cause I said hello to him? You have a problem with me saying hello to him." I said to her, "I don't know you or him or give a f*ck about you or him. I don't care who you speak to . I just turned cause I heard a voice." The Halal guy then asked her if she wanted something and she said in disgust, "No not now." When she left he said to me, "That was my friend. What is your problem?" I said, "I don't know you or her. Why is she confronting me like that?!?!" I got my food and left. Let me add another guy is usually there who is very nice, polite and doesn't get involved in drama. But I probably won't get food there again. Don't feel like fighting with the ladies over the Halal guy.

The B.O.T. sandwich was decent, but the bread definitely needed to be toasted. The macaroni and cheese looked pretty good, but was fairly under-seasoned, unfortunately. The total came to approximately $17, which I feel is a little high for the size of the portions I was given. If the portion sizes are going to be on the smaller side of things, they've at least got to be made correctly and properly seasoned. Some of their other grilled cheese items look pretty good, so maybe I'd give them another try - but definitely not for a little while. I had higher hopes for this place. The main consolation is that their hours of operation are pretty good. They're open fairly late and they deliver - two things most places in the area cannot say they have. Props.

Throw in the ample seating that's a specialty of non-Manhattan BBQ joints, and you've got a great spot for a casual dinner. Not sure I'd schlep out here just for Bark, but I'm not mad we tried it.

Arrived around 4:45 on Saturday afternoon. There was a long line, but I had no idea how slow it would be. An hour and a half later made it to the counter. No Beef ribs, No chicken, no sausage. Only Brisket and Pork belly. Maybe with their new store they don't have enough product for both. The Brisket was very good. The Dominican spices made the bark worth while. Had Mac 'n cheese and Cole Slaw as sides. The Mac 'n cheese was excellent, and I don't usually like Mac 'n cheese. The Cole slaw was inedible. Just cabbage and a spice. Just dry and gritty. We had one bite each and tossed it. And of course because it is in the Time Out Market there was virtually no seating. More than half the seating was people holding space, no food no drinks. We approached a spot and a guy said the seat was taken. There were two chairs so he said we could have one. Finished our food and left. The other person never showed up. Holding space for an hour and a half? They need to force people to buy something if they are going to sit.
