Such a cutsie little gem! Came to El Encanto with my daughter and son and everything was delicious. My daughter and I both got the Chilaquiles Rojas with machaca, two over-medium eggs, and potatoes. You could tell the potatoes were never frozen, the tortillas were freshly fried, and the beans were on point. We shared a 1/2 order of pancakes and WOW... some of the fluffiest pancakes ever. They came with bacon and were honestly my favorite thing we ordered. My son got the French toast which was really good too -- maybe not as amazing as the pancakes, but I'd still order them again. (Of course I tasted everything .) My daughter's banana latte was scrumptious and perfectly balanced without tasting artificial. Overall, such a cozy hidden gem with fresh, flavorful food. This place actually looks bigger from the inside. I think it's cause of the way this sticks out of the side of the building. It looks like it might end where the corner is, but it extends all the way in. Note that it still fills up quick on the weekends. Very cute interior, coffee, cups, everything. The menu looks like graphic design was someone's passion, although I low key wonder if AI was used. The mazapan latte was a bit too creamy for me, but as someone that usually takes their coffee black, that's probably my fault for ordering something like that. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and I like how they were mixed in. The cheese was a nice touch. Sometimes, I think refried beans + potato is too dry, but these beans were not as thick and the potato was also surprisingly soft and warm. It also came with some nice tortillas. Finally, a shout-out for this special hot sauce. It's deceptively hot for how sweet and syrupy it looks and feels. Quite tasty. I wouldn't mind purchasing a bottle of this. read more

I started with the banana matcha, which arrived crowned with the cutest little bear ice cube I have ever seen in my life. I'm talking weaponized cute. The flavor? Smooth, balanced, lightly sweet, and comforting in a way that made me feel emotionally supported. I didn't just drink it--I healed. Then came the machaca. Listen. This dish did to me what that scene in Ratatouille did to that critic--except instead of a French childhood flashback, I was spiritually transported to a Mexican tia's kitchen I'm not even sure I've lived in. Deeply savory, perfectly seasoned, rich without being heavy. Every bite whispered, "You've been hungry for this your whole life." My husband ordered the huevos divorciados, but they were so good we convinced them to give their marriage another shot. Perfectly cooked eggs, sauces with actual personality, and a harmony so strong it felt like couples therapy on a plate. And then--the salsa. Came here for breakfast on our way to the beach just a 10 min drive to the beach from here. This place has so much charm and character it was adorable for the decor to the ice bear in my iced mocha. Coffee was delicious and so was my waffle platter. I was craving a good waffle and this came with banana and strawberries. It was so delicious my husband got steak and potato's and my daughter got an egg plate both said their food was tasty and they would order again. The service was great very attentive came and checked on us frequently. This is a small restaurant so be prepared to wait the parking lot is small as well there was a parking attendant who helped find the right spot. If you don't speak Spanish let them know because they will first speak Spanish and then if you need English they will speak to you in English. read more

Adorable quaint restaurant located next to a local market. Arrived at 10:30 on a weekday and there was no wait but I did need to park in the back as most of the open parking is reserved for market. The menu is brunch with options for all. I highly recommend an iced coffee or tea as it comes with a large teddy bear ice cube and a fresh flower. We found this place online & liked the Christmas decor they had. The inside is a bit small but there is plenty of tables. We only waited 10 mins to be seated. We ordered the french toast & pancakes platter and the machaca plate. They had good portions for the price. The french toast was delicious & the pancakes were soft & fluffy. The machaca plate was not my favorite and tasted a little too dry to my liking. I took a star off for that & another star for only having 1 restroom available for all genders. We split the pancake platter and the chilaquiles, which you can choose from rojo, verde, chipotle or mole. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but they do their best to get their guests seated as a table becomes available. They share a parking lot with a market, so parking is VERY limited. Finally got to try this place and it was a really great experience. The servers were really nice and super friendly, and the food was delicious. Got to try the drinks with the bear ice which was really cool, and there was a good amount of flavors to choose from. We got there at noon on a Sunday and waited about an hour for a table: we did have 7 people, and it's not a very big restaurant. The service was great. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered the marzipan latte to start since they were out of the horchata. For food I had the machacha omelette with roja salsa and it was really good: it came with potatoes and beans and both were good. I opted for no tortillas since they aren't homemade. My boyfriend ordered the Chilaquiles with steak meat and he enjoyed them. We also ordered the waffles to share with the table and they were crispy on the outside and chewy inside almost like a churro or mochi consistency. Overall the food and service are good.
