The place looks new, and super clean and right in th heart of the fun district. We sat at the bar and ordered food and drinks. Pricing was very friendly and the service as stated was great. We really enjoyed the time here and were in no hurry to leave. The food was served fresh and super hot and the fritters were tender and full of flavor, while the pizza was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy!! We were seated fairly quickly, in the inside part of the business as there were "no seats outside" - that wasn't the case. The server came promptly to take our order: @drinks - mojito, sangria, water and a soda. The sangria tasted like pouch sangria poured into a glass and the mojito had little to no rum. @Starters - marine sampler, which was greasy and overly cooked. @main dishes - paella marinera for 2, lobster tail, and stuffed mashed plantains with ceti (local fish). My overall impression of the main dishes wasn't great for the price we paid for the meal ($$$). The paella for two lacked flavor and the seafood wasn't properly cleaned (the shellfish had the poop vein); the lobster wasn't local and tasted weird; the stuffed plantains with ceti were very salty. For the latter we offered our feedback to the server and she just took the plate away, without offering any substitutions or following up. Enough to say that I'll not be coming here again. The price of the food goes beyond the quality and service. The only nice thing about the place its the view, which we got to see through a window.

The arepa was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the pernil was very flavorful but not overly salty, and the lemonade was perfect (tasty with just the right amount of sweetness and tang). I would absolutely recommend the place to anyone driving by. The owner/chef is Venezuelan, and the place has been around for 3 years. They have a selection of vegan arepas as well, so it is vegetarian/vegan friendly.
