I have been a customer for 12 years and El Flamboyan has always delivered Great Flavor and Awesome Service. I highly recommend their Barbecue Ribs with Mofongo and their Pepper Steak with Rice.

This place is not REAL CHINESE PUERTORICAN food, not even close. They force you to buy all the sauces $1.00 each. It tastes like leftovers.

Roast duck noodle soup. Yes roast duck. Off menu item that they were happy to make for me!! Competes with other around town.

Want to change up that week night take out? This place is delish. Must have: pork sticks. Not your typical cerdo. They are flat pork pieces of yumminess. It's rumored that the current chef is from a Mills 50 district staple). Remember they are closed on Tuesdays. So that should be the only day you avoid this spot!

    "Sesame shrimp"

We ordered this in Uber eats and I will never eat from here again. I ordered sesame shrimp. I received frozen box shrimp with sesame sauce poured over it for $15. Nothing we received looked fresh. Everything seems to be out of a box there. My partner ordered spare ribs that were dry and tasteless. I am very disappointed in the food. My suggestion don't eat here. It's a waste of your money.

    Beef w broccoli

We were so looking forward to liking this place; however, we were so disappointed. Both meals (Mongolian beef and beef w broccoli) were so bland and the least amount of food for Chinese take-out we've ever seen. This place costs more than the other Chinese restaurants in the area and does not even compare in taste or quantity. The fried wontons appetizer was 6 small wontons that were so overcooked, it was incredibly difficult to bite into them. ($3.25) Mongolian beef only had like 5 or 6 pieces of meat. House fried rice and 3 pieces of shrimp put on top (not even cooked w the rice). Each meal was approximately $9.50, definitely not worth it. Also, no fortune cookies and only one packet of soy sauce were in the take-out bag. So much for trying a new place, we'll stick to our usual spots!

Be sure to ask for no eggs in the fried rice to make it vegan!

This is my favorite Chinese spot to go to when I'm in town. This review is focused on their vegan options. Essentially any "meat" style they have you can also get made with tofu. My personal favorite is their General Tso tofu. It's always hot and crispy! Also I asked about the batter they use and it is indeed suitable for plant-based eaters.

    White rice and "pepper steak"

Don't waste your money here. They serve me all onion and 3 piece of steak and the lady that was taking our order was very rude. I paid $30 something dollars for a plate full of rice and onions

Ordered several plates and everything tasted old. Mid day and the food tasted like it was from previous day. $150 wasted on vacation

The alcapurria was absolutely delicious, traditional Puerto Rican taste. Now the tostones appetizers were not my favorite. The chicken did not taste good. I personally will not order this again. As for the food, I ordered the pollo a la plancha with white rice and beans. Of course it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I would say the chicken was a bit dry. It could use some sautéed peppers and onions next time. Other than that everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. When I'm in Florida, I will definitely come back. Service was outstanding and I love the decor in this restaurant.

When I got to the business to get my order (literally as I'm pulling in) I get a notification that my order was cancelled. I go inside, ask about my order, the hostess pulls my order on the screen and then said Uber Eats was down. I reorder what I selected and they did not honor the price (despite her pulling my order) that I was quoted on Uber Eats. I'm sad because I was looking forward to this but I did not want to pay almost double the price and it felt like that's why my order was canceled.

I'd been hearing amazing things about Cilantrillo, and since I've stopped eating out consistently,…read moreI wanted this to be a real treat for my mom and me. I'll be transparent..we spent about $80 for the two of us, and it was absolutely worth it. I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed, and they truly delivered. We started with the fried cheese bites with guava sauce, and wow... what a perfect opener. The outside had this delicate crisp, the inside was warm and creamy, and the guava sauce added that perfect sweet‑salty balance without feeling heavy. It tasted like the kind of appetizer you savor slowly because you don't want it to end. It set the tone beautifully for the rest of the meal. My mom ordered the passion fruit juice, and the moment she took a sip, she looked at me like she'd been transported straight back to Puerto Rico. It was bright, refreshing, a little sour, and so full of flavor, not watered down, not overly sweet, just pure passion fruit goodness. It honestly made me nostalgic too, the way certain flavors can bring you home. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled chicken with a small mofongo on the side, and it was incredible. The chicken was juicy and tender which is rare because most places overcook it and it had this beautiful herb flavor from the peppers and cilantro. You could taste the freshness in every bite. The mofongo was smooth, garlicky, and perfectly seasoned. I've had a lot of mofongo in my life, and this one is easily one of the top. It had that perfect balance of texture and flavor that makes you want to keep going back for another bite. My mom ordered the mofongo with shrimp, and the shrimp were huge, plump, and juicy ..not rubbery or overcooked. The sauce tied everything together so well, and every bite felt like a memory of being back on the island. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The wait was long, but honestly, it was worth it. Our server was attentive without rushing us, checked in at the right moments, and let us enjoy our meal at our own pace. The whole experience felt intentional and warm. If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican flavors that make you feel at home, this place is it. I would definitely come back. And next time, I'm trying even more from their menu.

This restaurant is located very close to the Florida Mall. Right across the parking lot…read more If you are looking for a great Puerto Rican dish, try this. I had a Churrasco Mofongo (Flank Steak) and a Traditional Mojito. Both were delicious. It's a generous portion. Enough to share. I had enough left overs for lunch the next day. I sat at the bar. Service was fast and staff were friendly and polite. I love the Latin food and vibe. I will be back.
