Food, service were wonderful. Drinks were watered down and awful. Next time I'll stick to beer.

Came here with my dog and girlfriends and sat on the patio - super clean space inside and out,…read morewhich I always notice. Big bonus: they're dog-friendly and even brought her water. Our waiter, Jesus, was awesome - friendly, attentive, and really helpful with the menu. We ordered the quesabirrias and... wow. They do them a little differently - kind of like a layered quesadilla folded taco-style - and the flavor was seriously on point. Paired it with their micheladas, which were just as good. They've got a huge menu with plenty of options, but honestly, I'd go back just for that combo again. Only regret is I ate it too fast to get a picture . Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

This place was just so-so. It is a combination of a Tex-Mex restaurant and sports bar. There were 7…read morehuge TVs playing basketball sports loud. There is a Cantina bar area too. Most of the menu items are Tex-Mex but there are also burgers, ribs and wings. There were only two vegetarian options: a veggie burrito and fried cauliflower "wings". I was curious about the cauliflower "wings" so I ordered that. I was expecting the cauliflower to be fried or look like wings. However, the cauliflower was just baked and barely cooked. It was served with dipping options, celery and carrots. I ate the cauliflower but I was disappointed in the dish. I could easily have made this at home. The agua fresca jamaica drink made from hibiscus flowers was good.

I didn't know about this place until it showed up on Yelp as a bar in Sierra Vista about a year…read moreago. I had never heard of it so I decided to check it out. It's located on the north end of a strip mall on the east side of SR92. There is no marquee off the highway, which is one reason it's not easy to find. I put the address in my Google Maps and it got me to the front door. I made Punchy's a meetup place for my beer-drinking friend yesterday. He, too, hadn't heard of it. We both walked in on a Wednesday at 3:45pm. The bar area had its steady clientele and another table of three sat nearby. What people first notice as they enter is the spaciousness. The bar is a horseshoe bar with room for 12 stools. It's a full bar, with 12 beers on tap and many more bottled. Most of the draft beer is only $5. That is on the lower end when compared to other bars in the area. I ended up ordering two different beers during my stay: Big Blue Van wheat beer and a Wow Wheat, and also had a late lunch from the food truck and had a patty melt for $7. It looked and tasted so good, my friend ordered one as well. He had his Dragoon IPA with that. Service was friendly and efficient. I like the dog-friendly shaded patio. I will definitely take advantage of it once it cools down some. There is much going on during the week. Mondays is Cornhole day in the evenings, Thursdays is bike night, and there are bands on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are at least two pool tables and an air hockey table.

We stopped by here the other night to get dinner to go. We were greeted by the staff upon walking…read moreup to the order here sign and started with our order. We ordered a salad and a wrap. The ordering process was easy enough, but the next part was a little confusing. The clerk at the cash register mentioned that to wait and we'd be called when the order was ready. However, I was trying to figure out how I'd get my salad when I had the choice of salad bar items. My husband suggested I go up to the counter and show my ticket. The clerk from the cash register asked me if I wanted to get my salad and I said yes. She then asked me if I wanted romaine or spring mix. I opted for the spring mix and then commenced with my food options from the salad bar. Once I had finished with the salad, I then joined my husband in waiting for his wrap. There was a large party in front of us that we didn't realize we were waiting on for them to get their food first. I'd say in total we waited about 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and the staff were busy with ensuring that everything was fresh for the salad bar as well as cleaning up and stocking items (straws, napkins, etc.). They definitely were of the mind of keeping busy and not standing around idle. Once order was in hand, we took it back to the hotel and ate there. My salad was very good and my husband's wrap was also very filling and tasty. I'll definitely be coming back to this place in the future. The food is good and high quality. Just wish we had something like this back in Whittier, I think it'd be very popular.

Me and my friend got 2 poke bowls, mine with salmon tuna and crab, hers with crab tuna and shrimp…read more The tuna was an almost gelatin texture and gritty, and the salmon had severe damaging and discoloration and was nearly brown. The tuna had a faint taste of rotten citrus, and the salmon was fishy. Crab was OK. The woman at the cash register was super nice but the woman who served my friend was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes at her when she asked a question about a topping because they have literally no menu or labels for what you're getting. We returned our food shortly after and they were very nice about it.
