One pound tri tip / brisket
    Travis P.

I found their stand at Benny Boys Brewery in LA and IMO it was decent but nothing I haven't had before. I got the brisket and tri tip lb with Mac and cheese and street corn. The meat flavors were good but they were a bit dry. The street corn had too much lemon or something because it was sour. Might be intended but if you're not into super sour you may not like it. Mac cheese was good. Overall it was aite for me, prices are kind of up there too but it's a stand so that's pretty expected.

If you spot a black pop up sitting in a parking lot, next to a monster Red Silverado truck, next to a custom trailer hauling one of those hefty, industrial Titus smokers, you have come to the right place. Friday night's spot, usually at El Cerrito Cafe in Corona (a tiny breakfast/ lunch local cafe) is one of their more favorite spots to set up. Or so I'm told. Since they don't set up until 4 pm here, they have the entire parking lot of El Cerrito Cafe to themselves. Late to the party, I had no idea that we had such a popular foodie magnet almost in our own backyard! We had been chasing this pop-up barbeque for well over a month and finally struck it rich a couple weeks ago at the Norco Brewery. If you haven't already guessed, one time was all it took to make us drooling fools. The line starts swelling shortly after they set up, people obviously familiar that the reward is so great. I am embarrassed to admit, we have made it a point to be the first in line both times we came. Maybe a bit overzealous, but we wouldn't want them to run out, now, would we? You'll not find them, unless you log into their Instagram account first. Besides our two locations, I have seen posts for the Los Angeles area, Upland, and San Diego. They post their schedule, menu, and any specials several days in advance. It seems the weekends are most likely when they are active. I specifically came for the popular brisket point after watching a few videos. It did not disappoint. It's darn near perfect. Tender, juicy, a beautiful smokey flavor, with just the right amount of fat. The rub may make your lips tingle a bit from the blend of spices, but the flavor is divine. IMHO, Justin has perfected his craft. The pork ribs are also amazing. They are big, quite meaty and fall-off-the-bone delicious. He uses the same zingy rub and pairs it with a sweet bbq sauce at the end. You will definitely enjoy them. As for sides, I only had eyes for their Mexican corn and Mac n cheese. Both were possibly the best ever, until I noticed that Mr. B's bbq beans were not those vile canned excuses for beans. Jessica has a family recipe that starts by cooking her own mix of beans. She develops rich levels of flavor until it becomes irresistable. Finding some little chunks of their smoked meat mixed in made it orgasmic. 3 picnic tables at El Cerrito Cafe. Most people grab and go. The Norco Brewery has an advantage of nice outdoor seating in their patio, multiple tables, and the extra lure of serving an interesting collection of craft beers. My only complaint is, this is a pop up. Meaning, getting there too early means having to wait for them to set up first. It doesn't help that they have been "late" setting up their tent both times we have had a freakin' bbq craving. I know their dream is to graduate into a food truck. I really hope they can work this out, it would be so awesome and much less labor intensive for them.

Plated with Love! What a great spot to find after seeing a video on TikTok! Unfortunately, it was 15 minutes till closing but luckily they still had some items available! Hubby ordered the brisket sandwich and coleslaw while I ordered the chicken and Mac n cheese. Guys when I say this place is legit.. believe me! Texas girl here, and from the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I could smell the bbq. It was divine! We live about 5 minutes up the street so the drive back home with the "goods" wasn't too bad. As we open the bag and took the goods out of the containers, I started to get giggly! It looked incredible! It smelled incredible! My mouth was drooling! The first bite .... "OMG this is good." And then.. Mic drop. We ate it all! We will see you next week with the whole family!

Very very good, definitely recommend. Best bbq in the IE no one even competes. Cheesecakes are fire too, must buy if they have any. Oreo cheesecake are my favorite.

got a pound combo plate with tritip and brisket sides was mac and cheese and bacon beans. Everything was very flavorful, the meat was tender and juicy. I got the Jefe sandwich which had pulled pork I got the side of mac and cheese and Latin corn. Latin corn was delicious, roasted corn with nice spices almost like a salsa corn. The pulled pork sandwich was loaded with meat and there bbq was homemade which had a nice sweetness to it

Brisket, tri-tip, spare ribs, chicken, lechon, cheddar jalapeño link, Mac n cheese, bbq bacon beans, street corn, & habanero cole slaw

Ask the Community - El Guero y La Flaca

Do you post on your web site when you'll be at a brewery or other events?

If you have Instagram @elgueroylaflaca I have our schedule on there. This week 11/21 we will be at El cerrito liquor in Corona 4-9pm and 11/22 we will be at Rockafella Bar in Corona 7-12am

Where is this place located? In yelp it shows down the road but in a residential area and not in Norco where a lot of reviews mention.

At the moment we only do catering we occasionally do pop ups. I just added our schedule so sorry sir and it will be at the address listed. Hopefully we can have the pleasure of serving you soon!

There on Philadelphia just east of Etiwanda was the familiar night time glow of a food truck. "I want Tacos" meant I would have to risk life and limb fighting off hoodlums to satisfy my wife's craving. The only lighting was the faint glow of the street lights and a haphazardly hung string of lights from the truck. I scoped out the place and gave the family the all clear. My wife had the tripas tacos I ordered a asada quesadilla and my grandson ordered asada tacos. His buddy didn't want anything. My wife's tripas came out first. That sounded weird. Then my quesadilla and the tacos. Of course there was a selection of salsa's which I found hot my wife said they were not. She's a hard core paisa that's why. No place to sit as with all good food trucks so you find a nearby bumper or truck bed. The food was fantastic. In talking to the cashier I found out they are from Sinaloa where my family originated. Nice! We headed back to the car. Always vigilant for unsavory types but all was good and safe. Track down Tacos el Mike I'm pretty sure they have an Instagram. Orders are prepared quickly, and the quality of the food is consistently outstanding. Highly recommended menu items include the torta and quesadilla--both are easily 10/10. Be sure to try their aguas frescas as well. Depending on the day, they offer options like agua de Jamaica and agua de cebada. The agua de cebada is especially worth trying, along with the refreshing té de jazmín. A standout feature is their tacos de marlin (fish), which are seasonal and perfect during Lent. They're packed with flavor, have that authentic marlin taste, and a great crunch that really sets them apart. Easy Parking No Traffic! Clean Area! Amazing view seeing all the Semi Trucks! Overall, it's a spot worth visiting regularly with your friends and family--I personally make it a point to go every Friday. Highly recommended.

I was about to order the ribs but wanted something a lil different & decided to give the brisket nachos a try!! And DAMN am I glad that I did!! After placing my order(I was advised to get the small by the really sweet woman who took my order) because she said it would feed 2. I paid, waited and when I picked up my nachos, my eyes popped outta my head. My plate looked like it could feed 4 not two!!!! AND it was heavy!!! When I finally got back to my seat(after being stopped several times to point to where I gotten my food)I dug into what I can only describe as the absolute BEST brisket nachos that I have EVER had in my life! I thought I'd died & gone to food heaven! Let me tell you....the meat was flavorful & tender & plentiful! And it was just the right(not skimpy)amount of toppings which were layered all throughout the chips to the bottom of my plate & not just "on top!" I chose the garden salad, Western tri-tip, the brisket, and Mac N Cheese. The salad was absolutely delicious!! I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good. Was a fun presentation in the purple cabbage leaf but the slaw itself was pretty underwhelming. Ordered the butter cake to go. It was, again, underwhelming.
