Menu has an option of a mini burrito for 9.99 or a giant burrito for 11.99. I ordered the giant. Burrito was so small that when I took out of bag to show guy behind counter, I say hey is this the mini?? He says no, it's the giant. Overall (B) The food is authentic and good. But and this is a huge but - you have to pay for chips and salsa. This rubbed me the wrong way. Also the quality of the food was good but not great. Basically there is an authentic place up the street that offers the same value proposition so would rather go there over this place. Even if this is closer. Service (B+) The staff was nice but it is counter service you have to get your food yourself. Didn't take too long to get our food - maybe 10 minutes but we were the only customers at 7:30 on Saturday night. Value (C) The size of the big veggie burrito was pretty good. My kids weren't too hungry and they split it. It was good I tried some. But a little light on beans and heavy on lettuce. I got the combo - it had a huge tostada, a small taco and a small enchilada. They tasted good, but wasn't expecting such a small portion size. Have a rating of C because there is no free chips and salsa for dine in. Was sorely disappointed. Was expecting this as it is common practice at nearly all authentic Mexican places I have ever been too. So we got about $0.20 worth of chips and salsa for $2.50. I don't like being nickled and dimed. Quality (A-) The quality of the food was pretty good overall. I liked everything we ordered and really liked the salsas they had. They have potential with the authentic tasting food. If you want an authentic taste experience this place is pretty good. But there is a better alternative up the street so I will probably never come back here again. The other place offers authentic Mexican food, free chips and salsa, table service, large portion sizes, higher quality food, etc. I will be surprised if this place is in business after a few years. Because our usual taco joint was closed, my friend and I decided to try out another spot. Normally the places my friend and I go to, we usually get chips and salsa if we are eating there. We didn't get any at this location and it kind of bummed us out. We each got the taco dinner and it was okay. A little on the dry side. The rice was different too but it was alright. Absolutely terrible. I ordered a steak burrito with lettuce and tomato only. There were no tomatoes it was all lettuce. Steak what little there was, is bland. Also they are ILLEGALLY overcharging. This place is perfect for a quick bite or if you're looking to get a late dinner. I've been coming here for four years now and they have raised there prices quite a bit. It is amazing this was the greatest meal I have ever had. Their enchilada dinner with the Suiza sauce and the sour cream fit with the rice and beans. 10/10 will always try to come back. Their red and green sauces weren't good either, I had hoped they would be good so I could enjoy something for the amount they charged. Came here for some late night taco cravings since I was in the area. I'm not sure if it's because it's late, but my experience was very disappointing. Most places bring chips and salsa to your table if you're dining in, this place did not have any. The food was bland except for the elotes, which was topped with so much chili powder, it was a little too spicy for me. Maybe my expectations were a bit high, as I'm so used to eating at Burrito Parilla, which is always phenomenal. The place is clean and the workers are friendly. I had a beef tostada and quesadilla for $5.27. Seems like a pretty good alternative to say Taco Bell. Service was also quick as it was quiet when I dropped in for lunch. Dining area is basic and clean. They also had some enchilada dinners for around $8, but that might be something more for the 2am crowd. Don't be confused by the single parking lot entrance - it's a two way, despite the sign that just says enter, as there is a U turn drive-through there as well. read more
